+ -1 moreThey advertised free estimates. I took my tower in and described the problem. Technician quickly expressed concern that it was the hard drive. I said if computer was not worth fixing I still wondered if he could recover the data. He said he would get back to me in a day or two. Within hours he called to say the hard drive was fried. He could not save any data. He said he could send it to a data recovery specialist, but that would probably start at around $600. We quickly agreed it was not that important. He assured me there was no charge for what he had done. I felt confident that he analysis was accurate and I had not thrown away $ on a lost cause.
