Description of Work: We knew our roof is old and lost some shingles. I just asked Mr. Jackson to ensure that our roof would make it through the winter and to give us a quote for either 2016 or 2017. He was efficient, showed up on time, and had his staff replace the shingles within the hour. I don't remember the cost but it was one of those Angie List specials.

Description of Work: Was roof maintenance big deal package. He took pics of possible prob areas on roof, gave quote of just over $1000. But the deal for $309-400 of repAirs and svc for $99. Put a little calk on main area I wanted fixed, said may not fix prob, couldn't do much else, $1000 to fix prob areas. They weren't leaking at that time . Said roof was good. The prob areas needed new flashing, etc. I asked the price for 2 jobs I felt were what I wanted, he said $300-$350, but didn't want to do small jobs due to distance. Ok, deal was for $300-$400 repAirs &/or svc for $99. so why couldn't he do the 2 repAirs I wanted? Nothing in deal about charge for distance, etc. So basically I paid $99 for a roof inspection with some pics. Most roof companies I caled will do free inspection. I accomplished nothing, feel ripped off. I meant to call to get refund w/o 30 days but father suddenly taken ill, in ICU, thought he would die, but did pull thru.still seriously ill. I was away from home and this wasn't my first priority at that time. Want nothing further to do with this company.

Description of Work: Bill came to our house and assessed our roof. He was very informative and knowledgeable. He made minor repairs and performed some routine maintenance. He also pointed out a few repairs that needed a little longer. He was right on regarding the needed repairs. Bill wasn't pushy or demanding, but very consultative in his approach. I will definitely use him in the future.

Description of Work: I used the Angie's List "Deal" for roof inspection/minor repair. The inspection happened very timely but the return for additional repairs took about a month. Bill Jackson's was able to utilized the shingles I had do replacements and credited me for those. The crew was on-time and very thorough in clean-up. I am confident that our roof repairs will keep us dry this winter - I would definitely consider this service provider for future roof work if required.

Description of Work: I ordered the $99 inspection and minor repair offer through Angie's List. They were fantastic in getting someone out right away, he took a look, made some minor repairs and was honest with what he thought needed additional work and provided us with a quote right then. We called to schedule the follow-up work, and were told there was a delay due to a storm that passed through and they weren't sure when they would get us in but would follow-up. A week later, I called them back asking again and she assured me that they would come and get our repairs done within the next month. On the day they did the repair I got about a one hour notice that they were coming. |They did good work, the pricing was great, but their scheduling definitely leaves something to be desired.

Description of Work: This was just a roof maintenance package. Bill did not propose much work (unlike some others who had looked at the roof - only 7 years old) before. He gave an estimate for a few small things, just in case, and took care of a few things (nailing a few places, putting sealant at a few small locations) etc. just as advertised. he came up as a very professional and knowledgeable roofer who is out to genuinely help people with work they need to do.
