Description of Work: Serviceman was on time. However didn't seem enthused to be here...Quickly turned on the machine, spun the drum. Machine began to turn. Humming sound. He came to the conclusion in less than 5 minutes that the entire motor was shot and needed to be replaced. Called a different appliance company a few days later and my experience was completely different. The assessment from Prompt Appliance Repair was completely wrong!

+ -1 moreThe freezer died; there was nothing that could be done. It was quite old and just was not freezing anymore. He came out very promptly. He just charged me for the house call. He was very friendly and professional. He was very good. I would definitely call him again. He said that he would have to replace the whole unit and it would cost more than a new freezer so that is why it was useless to do anything.

Description of Work: I got home from a trip and started doing the laundry. When I went to put the clothes in the dryer, there was still some water in the washer and the softener was still in the container. I tried to fill the washer and run it again. It just made a grinding noise. I called. and left messages with several companies. None of them returned my call. I looked in the phonebook and found Prompt Appliance repair. It was a Saturday at noon. The owner, Sean answered the phone and asked what the problem was I told him. He said he could be there between 3 and 4. He arrived just before 4. He said that he had worked on a lot of these machines. He brought a part in with him. It took him 19 minutes to fix the machine. The bill was $148 including tax. I thought that this was quite reasonable for a Saturday. I would definitely recommend him and will use him again for future large appliance repairs. He is located in the Easlake - Wickliffe area.

+ -1 moreHe was at my house within a few hours. He arrived exactly when he said he would. He was courteous, friendly and neat with his work. He even asked if I would like him to remove his shoes. The stove is now working great. I would definitely recommend this company to a friend.

I called at 9:00 AM in the morning regarding my washing machine and by 2:00 my washer was repaired by Sean. He replaced the pump. They also repaired my freezer last year at a very reasonable cost. I keep their number very handy and recommend them to family and friends.

+ -1 moreI CALLED SEAN ON A FRIDAY TO HAVE A SUBZERO REPAIRED. HE WAS HELPFUL OVER THE PHONE AND SCHEDULED TO COME OUT TO MY HOUSE ON MONDAY. HE WAS SUPPOSED TO CALL ME AROUND LUNCH. HE NEVER CALLED. I CALLED HIM AND HE RECOMMENDED ME TO USE ANOTHER COMPANY.

+ -1 moreSEAN HAS DONE 3 REPAIRS FOR ME. HE IS ALWAYS PUNCTUAL AND PROFESSIONAL. HE CAN FIX ANY APPLIANCE, AND HIS PRICES ARE VERY GOOD.
Description of Work: SEAN REMOVED DEBRIS FROM THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL AND PLUMBING. IN A LATER SERVICE CALL, HE FIXED MY WASHER AND CHECKED THE DRYER AND ONLY CHARGED FOR A SERVICE CALL BECAUSE THE WASHER WAS EASY TO FIX.
