+ 0 moreOur experience with this company was great! We had 4 bedrooms that needed ceiling and walls painted. One bedroom had wallpaper in which they took down, fixed the uneven walls, and painted it like new. I was very impressed with the preciseness and clean lines of the painting and how quickly the project was completed. They followed through with everything they said they would do, arrived on time, and communicated well with us. For the services they provided, I definitely think it was a reasonable price. I would use their services again and recommend them!

+ -1 moreOriginally, I was going to do it myself and had purchased the paint. However, I later decided to have a pro handle the job. Although this a was a small job, Metro fit us in between larger jobs and finished in about half a day. They moved the furniture and checked with me to be sure it was put back in the right place. They cleaned when they were finished and even vacuumed before replacing the cabinets.
Description of Work: We had a bedroom painted, walls and ceiling.

+ 0 moreMy entire experience was positive. I called and left a message and received a return call shortly after to make arrangements for an estimate. Tom's estimate was thorough. I had asked for an estimate on power washing the house in addition to the work that was done. He felt that our current paint job wouldn't hold up to a proper cleaning and advised against it. I appreciated his honesty and we took his advice and did not have that included in the estimate or work. The concrete looks great as does the trim! I will use this company again in the future.

+ -1 moreTom and his crew did two different jobs in my house. Both projects turned out amazing, honestly, better than I expected. Tom gave me an estimate and started the work the same week. The job required three days to get done. All three days, they were there on time and finished on the time he quoted me. The walls turned out great and the floor perfect. Clean up and any haul away was perfect. I just contacted them within the last week for another project. They do much more than just painting. I will be using them again in the near future.
Description of Work: Painting of basement rec room walls and surfaces. Also, they resurfaced and refinished basement floors.

Tom is very flexible in regards to scheduling and is very trustworthy has in both cases we were able to give him access to both homes and did not have to worry about being present while they worked. Tom kept in constant contact in regards to any issues and or questions. This is the 4th time we have use Metro Painting and will call Tom again for future needs.
Description of Work: Metro painting did two jobs for me in the last couple of weeks. Painted my former in-laws entire home as we are preparing to sell it and also painted two bedrooms, a bathroom and hall in my home.

+ 0 moreThis is the second time we've used Tom to paint a room in our 60 year old house on Cleveland's East Side and we've been ecstatic with the results each time. For this particular job we had him repaint our kitchen (approximately 15 x 11 feet). He painted both the walls and the trim; he totally transformed the room. Not only did he finish the project in a timely manner he also cleaned up thoroughly as well. I would certainly hire Tom again.

+ 1 moreVery satisfied with the work that Metro Painting did on the deck. Contractor came out to give us an estimate on refinishing our deck. He was professional, friendly and informative. We chose Metro Painting for two reasons, price and professionalism. We did research Angie's List and good reviews certainly helped make our decision. We also appreciated Tom taking the time to answer questions and making sure that the new wood was dry prior to re-staining. It was approximately 4-5 weeks from the time of the estimate until the deck actually was stained but we had told Tom that we were in no real hurry and knew he was pretty busy. The end result is beautiful. Thank you so much. We would definitely use Metro Painting again.

+ 0 moreEverything went very well: First day came removed doors and for refinishing at his shop. Second time he skimmed shower walls and left to let dry overnight. He also painted the Ceiling. Although it was not part of the contract he painted the ceiling and wall of the large closet. The following day he finished the two colors in the shower room and dressing room. We had Tom paint our house and stain our deck in 2011 and he did a great job. He is always very meticulous in his work and does a great job of masking. A true professional in his work.
Description of Work: 1. Bathroom & shower room Prep& paint walls, ceilings two wall colors. 2. Skim coat walls in shower room. 3. removed 8 panel closet doors and refinished at his shop and reinstalled.

Description of Work: Hired Metro Painting (Tom) to do some exterior painting on my home as well as my elder Father in Law. Tom was very responsive in giving me a quote on both properties and also included a 5% discount if both quote were excepted (both homes on same street). Once we paid the down payment Tom was out within 3 weeks (weather delayed other projects as well as ours). Once he came out the work was completed in a day and a half and was done very well. On one area of our door we asked that some trim be painted a color and after it was finished we were not happy with the results (no fault of Tom) and asked if he could redo and paint a different color. Tom said no problem and came out a couple of days later and re painted the trim at no additional cost. Since we have contracted with Tom again to do some interior painting. We have received a new quote and have agreed to beginning the process with the hope the work will be done by the end of Sept.
