Description of Work: New gutter system on entire house, stonework in kitchen, relocating phone line and adding electrical lines in kitchen, painting in kitchen, complete repair of pergola in rear of house, complete repair of front facing around one bedroom window, building four step entrance from garage into house with a large landing for a handicapped member of family, replacing lock on one door to patio, repair of one toilet, install of new lighting fixtures. I have come to rely on KNH and Mike Crow for any and all work - they are punctual, so informed on new products available and correct installation. I would trust them with any job, and have.

Description of Work: Mike of KNH kept in close touch via e-mail and phone, gave me a detailed estimate for demo and repair of pergola. The work wasperformed as promised in a shorter time line and was completely done in a week including painting. I could not ask for a moreprofessional job from start to finish, total clean-up, etc., from building to finishing to painting. The guys were excellent. KNH is also doing railings in the front of our home to allow my handicapped sister to walk up the steps. They are matchingthe railings to the home design. KNH is also starting in mid-June a kitchen re-do for us and I know that will go well also. They are so respectful of our home inall projects - it is wonderful to work with these great people.

+ -1 moreMike Crow was referred to me by a friend whose kitchen they did. He is honest, responsive, and very attentive to quality. The workers he brought in, from the demo guys to the framing to the insulation to the carpenters and floor guys, were both top-notch and genuinuely good folks. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but Mike kept me fully informed along the way, and the end result is really impressive and totally worth it. Mike asked for a modest up-front deposit on the windows and materials, and then came back for additional funds only as work was getting accomplished. He also let me know when issues came up that were outside the initial proposed scope (such as need to install a below-ground downspout from nearby gutters that were dumping water into our foundation). The and quot;Band quot; on punctuality speaks to the fact that the work was started in early September and finished in December, which is slow; -- in fairness however I was in no hurry whatsoever, and at no point did I ask for a more aggressive timeline. I highly recommend KNH for the quality of work they do, and I plan to have them do further work on our kitchen in a year or two.
Description of Work: We had a deteriorating exterior porch, enclosed with old aluminum panels which we wanted to convert to a room of our house. So essentially we were turning a porch into a 4-season sunroom. We also added a mudroom as part of the project, and opened up a wall in the house to allow better access to the space. The work consisted of (in addition to design and architecture review), demo-ing the celing and existing porch materials, framing and insulating new walls, installing 10 large new windows and an exterior door. He discovered some rotted roof materials and had to rebuild a small section of the roof, and also insulated and vapor-sealed the new room from the basement below (along the way he helped diagnose causes of water leakage in the basement). Finally, interior wall and ceiling drywall and interior and exterior finishing, painting, new wiring, custom built-ins, and a new heated tile floor.
