I called and set up an appointment for Mr. Klemenc to look at the roof. He there two days later as scheduled. It was such a small job that he gave me a quote, went up on the roof and made the repairs immediately. While up there, he made a quick check for loose shingles and inspected the integrity of the roof. He told me I had a good five or six years of life left in the roof. I was impressed that I didn't have to wait more than two days for the appointment and that he was willing to fix it on the spot. It was after his work day and I'm sure he was tired and wanted to get home. Besides his prompt, courteous service, he gave me a quote that I felt was quite reasonable and fair. When my roof is ready to be replaced, I will be calling Klemenc Roofing. Meantime, if I have any problems with the roof, I won't hesitate to call them.

Klemenc is the "best-of-the-best" in roofing!! We conducted extensive interviews with 4 Angie's List "A" roofers in our area and Klemenc Construction emerged as the best. Mike did a thorough inspection of the attic rafters and old roof and submitted a thorough detailed bid/contract. He discovered an attic ventilation situation which needed to be corrected. When the time for the work came, we were notified the previous week that they were coming -- five trucks and 8 men worked and tore off the old roof, working in sections and completed entire work in two days. The third day a smaller crew completed the gutter system The entire crew were excellent workers and they worked very hard in hot, humid weather with only a break for lunch. Each evening they cleaned up our yard thoroughly -- including upon completion of the entire project. Mike was onsite and led the workers on the roof. This company prides itself in its work and it truly shows! The company guarantees honesty, integrity, reliability, and professionalism and it really shows in every transaction and work done. Mike is 'the best in the business' and we couldn't be more pleased to have had Klemenc Construction put on our new roof after 26 years. He uses no subcontractors and his workers work hard and long hours -- an old- fashion work ethic to be prized these days in construction!! He has 30+ years in roofing and his work reflects his professionalism in every detail.

Great service, great people

Company representative came out and reviewed the existing porch. He provided detailed specifications and a cost estimate for the work that needed to be done to construct an enclosed addition. The work was not done as I was financially unable to go forward with the project at that time.

Quickly and efficiently done & everything looks fabulous. My one complaint is thatt they didn't clean up after themselves entirely thoroughly and we keep finding pieces of slate from the roof in the front and back.

I called Mike to give a quote on fixing a few missing pieces of exterior roof framing, he came out to give us a quote on the job pretty quickly. He took a look around, and then said he would make some custom fit boards, and match the exterior paint color. I didn't hear from them for a couple weeks, so I called the office and after a couple calls he said would be out in the next week or so to do it. I had forgotten about it completely until two weeks later I noticed the house looked surprisingly good, and couldn't put my finger on it. After staring for a few minutes I realized he had fixed the framing, and it looked great. The areas around the worksite were totally clean, and we're really happy about the work done. A bill arrived a week or two later, and the price was almost exactly what was quoted. A mostly silent, sometimes mysterious, but overall very satisfying job. Will definitely hire Mike in the future.

I found them to be excellent. I decided to go another way - I opted to go with a metal roof for the house, but will look into getting my garage done with them. Very prompt, explained in detail what was needed and didn't force product at me.

Klemenc Construction went to considerable effort to show that they were not the company in question. They even went so far as to investigate who the company might have been who did the work. I think that the fact that they care enough about their reputation to do this investigation probably means that they are a reputable company. I am sorry for the pain caused by the earlier review and for the delay as I tried to figure out the cause of your letter and how to make it right.

Wow, what great service! Last night I saw that the gutter at the rear of my house had pulled away due to heavy ice. This morning I selected Klemenc based on Angie's List reviews, and left a message at 8:15 a.m. Within a half hour I received a call, and was told a team could come to my home to check the situation. By 10 a.m. I was given an estimate and told the job could be done today. Russ and another gentleman were there when I returned from work at 1:30, already set up and ready to go. Everything was done professionally and thoroughly, and completed in less than 3 hours. I felt very confident with their work, and will be calling them again in the next few months for more projects. Highly recommended.

It went very well. Mr Klemenc took on my very small job. He found the problem quickly and repaired it thoroughly. I would trust him to do any number of small and larger construction jobs on my home. He is an honest provider with many years of experience.

I has a shingle blow off my roof this winter. I knew come spring I would have to get it fixed. I knew trying to get it fixed was going to be a problem because it was such a small job. My neighbor was having a new roof done and I called her and asked if one of her roofing guys could come over. He came over the same day, fixed my shingle and checked my roof for other missing shingles. The amazing thing was he charged me nothing. He just asked that I would keep them in mind when I needed a roof. Believe me this will be the company I call when I need a new roof, which he said will need to be done in about 5 years. In this day and age no one gives you anything free and he could've lied and told me I needed a roof now and I would've believed him. Klemenc customer service is above and beyond all others. When we first moved in we had a shingle replaced and it cost $150. Incidently, the neighbors roof looks wonderful.

That went very well. He came out and explained things and gave me a good price. I had an estimate from one other person and I did not like the other guy at all. I went with him because he had a coupon, and your book which helps make him look better. He came to do that in August. Then I had him replace some boards where the unit came through. The fact that he was able to do that was nice.

We have had this contractor before and we are happy with his work. On a previous job we had a roof leak many months after the work was complete. He came out personally and redid the work. I told him I would pay him a second time but he refused to take it. I do think that he is an honest man and takes pride in his work. The job at the current job was a large roof and he brought in a large crew and the work was done in one day. The gutters however took more than a day, but not a lot more.

All went very well - as expected. Klemenc had installed my original roof 19 years ago. It was time for replacement and I contacted Mike to give an estimate. He gave me a price I couldn't refuse. I am very pleased with the job and I am all set for winter.

Mike was always informative and prompt from the first time I contacted him for an estimate until the job was complete. Mike and his team completed all work in one day and were very professional. The work they performmed was high quality and they took care to to keep the work area clean throughout the day. I was very pleased with the work done by Klemenc Construction. All work was as agreed upon and met or exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and timing.

Apparently, it went fine. There has been a few signficant rainstorms during the last week and a half. The estimate was right on the money. And, they were in and out in one day.

Mike Klemenc is a pleasure to work with all the time. He is smart and professional. He does the job and charges fairly. I had a difficult job that most contractors could not do. I called Mike. He looked at the job and said "yes." It was done very well and he disposed of all the debris. I have now asked him to put an entire new roof on my house. I trust him and would recommend him for any job he can do.

They got out here and got the job done in a timely manner. They tore off the old roof and put in a new one. They had someone else to come out and do the gutters. The subcontractor did the gutters. They were hired through Klemenc Construction and they did a very good job. Klemenc Construction does garden set as well. I believe they advertised about it but I just haven’t talked to them about it.

My roof had been leaking and this was the year for a new roof. I was so pleased with the job by Mike and his crew. They arrived with their trucks and crew and got right to work. Mike works right with them. My job took almost two days but when I came home it was as if no one had been there what with the thorough cleanup that was done. My 88 year old mother was visiting on the day of the job and I had asked Mike to look out for her since she would be entering my home and so that he was aware. He helped her from the car and made sure she got safely into my house what with all the work that was going on. My friend told my about the Klemenc Construction company but I have had other friends recommendations that have not worked out as well. She was correct about the quality work and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a new roof for their home.

I had a ceiling problem coming from rotted sofit everytime it rained , Mike changed his schedule all around so he could help a lady in distress, I was frantic about damage to my ceiling. Him and the crew were at the house at 8:am every day till job was finished a few days later, He even worked in the rain, Yes, HE WORKED the job also right along with the crew, who were all good hard workers from start to finish (clean Up). Mike is prompt with return phone calls never have to waite more than a day for a response and I am still using him for a chimney repair in my attic that was discovered during a clean up after roof was completed. Mike stands by His word and always makes it right for the customer. After 7 proposals I picked the right contractor!

At the time of our estimate, we were given a full inspection of the roof and attic, gutters, chimney, vents etc. We were told what was needed to meet City code and given a very detailed estimate of expenses. We chose to have additional attic work done ... installing a floor and additional venting and insulation. All work was done in a most professional manner, on time and with quality materials. The entire experience was most satisfactory and we would highly recommend Klemenc Construction company to others. The workers arrived exactly when they were scheduled, did a fabulous job, cleaned up every last bit of debris and left on schedule.
