Metzger Heating & Cooling LLC

Our Central Air Conditioner went out, I got 4 estimates, 2 of which came to our house to give their estimates. We chose to replace our furnace as well, since it and the AC were original to our house built in 1976. All estimates with the exception of one were right around $5000 which included a new high efficiency furnace and 13 Seer Central Air Conditioner. The one quote exception was for $3600. We went with a 96% efficiency furnace, and a 13 Seer, 2.5 ton Central Air Conditioner manufactured by Goodman. I was going to go with the $3600 quote (also Goodman equipment), but decided since they were based in Columbus, I was concerned about service after the install. Instead, I chose to go with Jack Metzger, he goes by "J". J was extremely polite, courteous, prompt, and easy to work with. I wasn't home when he arrived, but my wife was and greeted him. She had not met him before. I knew I made the right choice when she called me to say how pleasant and courteous he was. When he arrived he laid down tarps from the front door to the basement, and placed sanitary booties on his shoes. He explained to my wife what they wanted to accomplish the first day, when he thought he would be leaving that day, and asked if that was ok with her. The quality of his work was superb, and he always cleaned up the area they worked in before leaving. J started around 4pm on Thursday, worked to 9pm with his helper Adam, and when done our Central Air was up and running. The next day he arrived at 8am, and was done around Noon.
