Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services

Initial appointment was on a weekend as it was sewer backup in our basement which occurred while being out of town. Upon arriving they did not have functioning equipment and had to return the next day. Once completed, we had the same incident occur a few days later due to Roto Rooter not clearing out the drain as they were supposed to. Attempt to rectify through the company with no call backs, filed complaint through Dayton BBB, they falsely claimed they called me back. Complaint was closed after it was clear Roto Rooter was not going to live up to it's promise.

The service from scheduling to solving the problem was quick,professional and complete. Tech Matt, from Lima office, is always polite,professional and efficient.

Began by researching where blockage might be, First attacked main sewer line in the yard through the clean out access. Found no blockage. Eventually had to take toilet up and snake the drain form there. Cleared the blockage and re-installed the toilet with a new wax ring. Matt and helper were very helpful and professional through out the experience, Explained what was taking place and why. Cleaned up and left very little for me to take care of. Offered suggestions on how to prevent this problem from recurring in the near future. Took about 2 hours to complete the project. Would definitely use and recommend the Company.

Overall it has been quick fast service and I would call them again if we needed something done quickly. Otherwise I would go to another company for remodeling/bigger jobs.

My sewer line backed up into my downstairs shower. NOTHING in the house worked. We had JUST moved into the home with three little girls. No toilet. I called the four plumbers in the area. The only one who was helpful at all was Roto Rooter. They couldn't make it out that day, but promised to be here the next morning at 8 am. The next appointment that anyone else could offer was four days away!! Roto Rooter showed up on time, asked if there was a basement entrance so they didn't mess up my floors, were very courteous, they were here less than 1/2 hour, snaked the sewer line, and wrapped up. They charged exactly what I was quoted. They went out the door. I flushed. It backed up into the shower. In a panic I rushed outside to see if they had left, they were just turning around. I told them and RIGHT back into the house they came!! They were here an additional 20 minutes and didn't charge me anything more.
