Excellent service, prompt response, fair pricing....what more can you ask for? Travis (owner) and Ben (installer) could not have been more professional in all their services. We replaced (rather than clean) a very old flexible dryer vent with metal duct work similar to that found on furnaces. The resulting rigid vent will be easier to clean (in the future) and has had the unexpected bonus of increasing air flow and we suspect, improving the dryers efficient operation. The project was completed very quickly and all debris was removed, we could not be happier with the work that was done or the services provided.

My dryer and vent had not been cleaned in over 5 years and it really needed cleaned. I was very happy with the work performed by Travis. He was on time, personable, and efficient. I would use him again and will recommend him to my friends. I would also use him to clean my whole house vents now that I know he also has that service. This was my first purchase from the Angie's List special deals and I am very pleased with the service.

We moved into a home that is about 10 years old. The visible entrance and exit of the dryer vent had noticeable lint caking, so we wanted to clean it out for safety and efficiency. The Vent Doctors arrived on time and worked efficiently at our appointment. When we did laundry that evening, our laundry room got warm and humid and we found that the vent was blocked. A stubborn 10 year old lint cake had held tight during cleaning, then come loose and blocked the vent when we ran the dryer. Travis and Ben practically bent over backwards to get back out the next day and make it right. The dryer is working well, the vent looks much better, and we have some peace of mind knowing the duct/vent is clean.

They did a good job with the work. They should have showed everything that they took out as that would have been helpful. The only other improvement is they could clean the filter on the dryer door but they did not do that. They did do a wonderful job, these are just suggestions.

Arrived on time and did a very thorough job of cleaning my dryer vent pipe. Installed a fireproof dryer vent hose after explaining and showing me the difference in that and the one I had attached.. I feel safer after having this service performed.

They thoroughly cleaned the duct work. However, they had difficulty conveying the rod and brush at a small gap that existed between the roof vent cap and duct connector. This was due to an insufficient sleeve length of the roof cap, and was not the fault of the vendor. In fact, the vendor offered to return and finish the job at no charge, once a new cap is installed. Since we live in a condo, this cap is the responsibility of the homeowner's association. I highly recommend this company. They are professional and offer a quality service at a fair price.

I was very impressed with the punctuality of the company contacting me to schedule service. They came and completed service within a week of the time I purchased. Very professional company. They were right on time with scheduled appointment and were able to give me a specific time, instead of a window time, which I really liked. I would recommend this company to neighbors and friends.

Travis was on time. He listened to my problem. He immediately checked the dryer vent hose and exhaust to the outside of the house. I watched as he worked. He showed me all the built up lint. He cleaned it out. He suggested a different exhaust hosewhich he could install. It would be more fire resistant. Since I had read about problems with older exhaust hoses I agreed and paid the extra $42.00. He cleaned up after himself. He didn't leave any dirt behind. He carefully replaced my dryer to the same location after completely his work.

The owner of Vent Doctors arrived on time. He first checked out the set-up and recommended an additional fitting to close off the leaks from the installation I did some 15 years ago. This additional fitting would seal the system and at an additional cost of $32.00 seemed like a wise choice. Since he did not have the parts in his truck, he drove home and brought the part back to my house. He spent a total of 3 hours for a total price of $89.00 plus $32.00 for the new fitting. He cleaned the dryer vent system and the tubing that exited the home. He also cleaned the entire area around the dryer, then tested the dryer to see that no leaks existed. We then toured the house and checked the heating/cooling duct work and he gave me a price to clean the entire system and what he would do. I was impressed with his knowledge of heating/cooling systems and he also offered additional advice on leaks around our sky lights and water damage to the dry wall around the sky lights. Vent Doctors seemed to be very thorough with the work they performed. I now feel better about the safety of our home, learned some interesting facts about vent maintenance and will have additional work performed by this company. I would recommend others take the time to look after routine maintenence that we often forget or over look to do on a regular basis. After having dryer the dryer works more efficiently. Inspection of a/c vents showed very little dirt & no follow up was needed.

Travis was exceptional and creative on an atypical dryer vent cleaning. We remodeled our laundry room and have a stacked washer and dryer. They also sit on a custom pan that is anchored to the wall to prevent movement during the spin cycle of the washer. We also have custom cabinetry built around the W/D with a removable panel to access the hookups. However, we did not want to unstack the dryer - which is the only way to get to the vent and remove the panel on the cabinetry. When I called Travis to discuss our situation I expected him to say it couldn't be done or there would be extra charges. Instead he talked through different ways he could clean the dryer vent from the outside of the house. He arrived and assessed the situation and although he hadn't cleaned a vent exactly like ours he had a great attitude and was very professional. Not only was our dryer vent difficult, but when we had the laundry room remodeled, we re-routed the vent so the run would be shorter. However, it now sits about 8 feet high on the exterior of the home. Travis was able to still use the preferred method to clean the dryer vent that included using the vent brush and suction (vs. blowing air). He had to clean our vent using a ladder, a high tech shop vac, and a contraption to clean it the opposite way. He did all of this without any extra charges, and with a happy disposition. I'd highly recommend this company for any of your vent cleaning needs. Travis is terrific and we really appreciated him going the extra mile so we didn't have to disassemble anything in our laundry room.

We called and luckily he was already in Grove City so he said he'd be here in 20 minutes. Traffic was a bit heavy and he called to say he'd be a little late due to traffic. He arrived, checked the vent with a camera and gave us a price. He had all the equipment needed for the job. He climbed the ladder to the second floor vent and removed a few bird's nests. He not only replaced the vent cover he also attached a bird guard cage we had purchased previously. He was on time, friendly, and efficient. We're happy to recommend Vent Doctors

Called and was able to schedule quickly. Showed up professionally dressed and personable. Cleaned the dryer vent, dryer and area around. There were no leftover messes and everything was back together perfectly. He even showed me the before and after pictures.
