I had a significant number of screens that needed to be re-screened or repaired. I found John through Angie's List, and I am glad that I did. His prices were very fair based on competitors I had contacted. His prices might be equal or higher in price than going to a hardware store to have it done, but I feel I got more service for my money from John's work. He replaced missing tabs and repaired a bent frame for me too, which I was not sure a hardware store would have done. John was very friendly and personable. I had removed the screens from the windows myself initially (to stop the birds!), but when John brought them back he installed them all for me. He was very informative and showed me how to tell for wear and tear on my other screens, which I will have done at a later date. I would not hesitate to use this provider again, and would recommend him to others.

I needed to have 3 screens on my screen porch re-screened. The largest one was approximately 4'X4', and the other 2 were a little smaller. John answered my call the same day and came to give me an estimate promptly. I asked him if I could remove the screens in order to save some money on labor (the screens are held in place by 4 pieces of trim). He didn't want me to do this. His estimate was $50 per screen. After making a call to another provider, I found out that by removing the screens myself and taking them in to have the work done, I could save $90! I decided it was worth the trouble to do that, considering the savings.

He got it done in a pretty timely manner. The screens fit perfectly. The custom one he did looks great.

He showed me how to take the screens out without breaking them and that's the key. He showed me how to lift the window out as well. They finished earlier than they originally estimated. Everything has worked out great. He is punctual.

I originally hired John to fix one screen on my screened-in porch. I was pleased that he didn't mind coming out to my house for just one screen. When he got here, I asked him if he knew how to repair a door that I had problems with as well. That's when I learned he also does general handyman repair, so I kept adding projects to what I was asking him to do. Of course I didn't expect him to do the additional work that day, as I knew he had other clients booked, but he did as much as he could other than what required supply purchases. He even took the wooden trim home with him to paint that had to be replaced around my screen. He came back a few days later to finish the work and did a superb job. A few days after he was here, he sent me a note saying that he must have added incorrectly on my bill and sent me a $10 refund. I would highly recommend John in both the screen repair handyman categories.

He did a good job, but i thought it might have been a little pricey. He was prompt and efficient and worked quickly.

John's attention to detail was incredible. Every window opening was a slightly different size and he made our screened in porch look perfect.

John responded quickly and picked up the screens. He has been inudated with work so it took several weeks to get the screens back. The wait was not a problem for us because we were having the exterior of the house painted. He offerred to install the screens but I chose to do it myself. One had a bit of a problem and he returned the next day and fixed it on the spot.

He picked up the door the same day that I called and returned it the next day. He even provided postage and an envelope to mail him payment for the job.

Job was completed in a timely manner and was well done.

I called the screen man and left a message. He returned my call the same day and made arrangements to come out the same week. He came to the house at the agreed upon time and gave me an estimate, which I agreed to. He took the screens and said he would call when they were finished. He called the following week to inform me the screens were repaired and to schedule a time to return them to me. He returned them and installed the door. I was very impressed with everything.

About as smooth a job as one could ask for!

He was very punctual, friendly. He was very fast. He came to the house which was very convenient. He was the best deal out of all the companies that I checked. He was able to come in three or four days. The service was fast.

We looked up someone who could help us with screens and we called him. He replied right away. He was very responsive, really easy to work with. He even installed our screens for us on the first floor while we were out. He also offered to come back and install the second floor screens while we were there. He was quick, he delivered when he said he would. I would use him again if I needed too.

He was very busy, but he was able to pick them up and deliver them for me because I didn't have a vehicle to do that. He just did a great job. He was about two weeks out because he was so busy, but it was definitely worth the wait.

The work was satisfactory. The pricing was reasonable in my opinion. I would hire them again in the future and recommend them to others as well. I would give them all A's

From the initial call, it took quite a while to schedule a time for this company to come out. Once the time was scheduled though, the work was done in the driveway and was thorough.

They did a great job for me. He did a great job on the screen. His prices were fair and he took everything away that he was supposed to. He was very nice and professional, and I was pleased with the work.

John was right on time for our first meeting. He measured and gave us an estimate and we made arrangements for the following week. He came again, measured again and returned a few days later with brand new screens. The workmanship was perfect and the screens fit perfectly. He was courteous, careful and took extra steps to make sure the product was just what we wanted.

The project went well. We're especially happy with the new screen in our back door, facing the backyard. Now we're able to enjoy the summer weather and keep fresh air circulating.

He was great, and half the price of the company that gave us an estimate but never called back. He was a nice guy, and let my husband help take the screens out, which saved a lot of time.

Work was done in a timely and quality manner. Thoroughly cleaned area after completion of work. Highly re recommended and would certainly use again.

Very well. He picked them up and took them home to work on them and brought them back good as new. He put them in the windows also. Very pleased with his work.

It was excellent work. He took his time, did an excellent job. He was professional, respectful. He called and set up a definite time (not a window time frame). He charges $35 an hour, which I feel is a great price for the work. He is very professional and efficient and does an excellent job. He is timely.

The work was done exactly as proposed and the results were outstanding. Because we have pets, it was important that the lower level screens be tough enough to withstand their abuse. John suggested pet screens on that level and conventional screens on the upper level. He was meticulous in his approach to the work and seemingly did it as if he was working on his own home. He even replaced a broken wood slat and painted it as well as the areas around the screws on all the other slats. He completely cleaned up behind himself and left the porch on our home looking brand new. He also was willing for no extra charge to repair minor problems around the porch area e.g. the downspout. We would highly recommend this company.
