SPOT CARPET INSTALLATION

it was a disaster, 2-16-16 installed 16x14 room and did not power stretch it. room looked terrible, that evening we called him to inquire about power stretching the room he yelled at us and hung up on us. 2/17/16 he phoned to apologized, had a story, asked for forgiveness and stated he would try to return thursday the 25th He called on the weekend and left message on our cell stating he could not come until Monday 3-1-16 and stated on message he would make the lg rm right and not to worry. 3-1-16 he returned and installed the final two rooms when he stated he was completed I inquired to the large room. He showed me how he knee kicked it and that was all he was going to do. I reminded him that he was to power stretch the room as we had wished he stated NO. I stated job not complete nopay. What happened after that I kid you not. I couldn't have ever dreamed my life would be like this with a contractor in my home. he demanded monies he screamed he threatened to tear the carpet up he was a person out of control. that point i asked him to leave he went to my master bedroom threatening to tear out. I had no option but to call the police. I actually had to leave my home w him in it to call and speak w the police. They were able to get him to vacate my property on the phone while the police were in route so I could re enter my home. I could go on with other but will not. I will say the people who came out to repair fixed more the stretching in my lg room, seam tape not glued pad gapped in middle of floor etc etc . I got pictures to all the rooms i could go on and on. All I can say folks way to much for a person who has had a stroke and a total hip replacement. never thought in my home this type of rage

It was accomplished in a couple weeks from order. It is superb and a call back for a very small item was done the next day. This is the person I will continue to use and brag on.

I was having trouble finding someone to do a small job like this, I called Mike on Monday, he came out that day to do an estimate, he then came back on Wednesday to install. Quick, punctual, and everything looks good. I will use him again and recommend him to friends and family.

Mike actually installed carpet for me in July 2014. I'm on Angie's list now to get his number to do my upstairs! He worked with his son on the installation. Very professional and save me a ton of $ by cutting the carpet in such a way that I didn't have to buy a ton of waste (Empire carpet would not let me do that an insisted that I buy a ton of waste). I can't see any seams in the carpet and after 1 1/2years is still great.

Mike was great to work with. He is probably one of the most responsive contractors I've worked with. He always returned phone calls quickly and kept in constant communication as to the status of the carpet we ordered and when he would perform the work. Mike was very friendly and professional. He got us a nice mid-grade carpet that we used on a rental home and charged a better price than a big box store to tear out and replace all carpet/padding in the 3 bedrooms in that home. We are definitely satisfied with his work and will use Mike again.

I called Mike early this morning and because he took the time to drive over to our place before his next job our carpet to new tile transitions on concrete floors and our carpet to new tile transitions on wooden floors is done! I actually considered doing this myself, I am so glad I didn't! I would have had to purchase all the materials and what if I'd cut too much of the carpet! Mike also took the time to repair the carpet to tile around our front door and fireplace that after seven years of wear and tear began to unravel. It now looks brand new. Thank you Mike!

Was very prompt and did a great job at a fair price

Mike was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and very quickly made the repair. I was pleasantly surprised his actual charge was LESS than his phone estimate. In my experience that rarely happens.

Mike is very good at what he does. He installed carpeting in entire basement and runners for our hardwoods steps. He provided great suggestions for the steps. He is very fast and the quality is great. He is also honest and I would trust him to tell me the facts. Would use again.

Mike was very thorough in talking through the estimate and options for the process with us beforehand. Very prompt and responsive in scheduling. He matched a comparatively difficult pattern beautifully and the steps look flawless. He had a helper to clean up as he went and help him with equipment needs who was also very pleasant and efficient. We would recommend him and definitely would use him again.

This is the 3rd carpet installation we have had Mike and crew perform in two separate houses we have owned. He is the best consultant and very helpful in finding the right color, quality and price for any of the jobs. This basement carpet replacement required us to request Mike perform the installation over separate days to give us time to move the basement contents from one side of the room to the other. Mike did a fabulous job with this and also the seams we spoke about and where he would place them are invisible, they cannot be seen from any spot in the basement.

We found out Mike from Angie's list. We wanted someone local to install our carpet after getting quotes from a few different big box stores. Mike was patient and very accommodating from the beginning. We asked him a couple of times to bring samples of different quality of carpets. Each time he was always willing to do that and brought us some samples. He didn't pressure us at all. His quote was the best one for the quality and type of carpet we wanted to install. At the day of installation, he worked hard to get it done right. Installation went pretty well. I noticed a little bit off installation on the last few steps he did at the day. I called him after that and explained to him the situation, and asked him if there was anything he could do to make it look a little better in the last few steps on the stairs. He showed up a little more than a week later and fixed those steps. We had our steps hollywooded, so not that always straight forward to install. We were pretty happy about the end result. We will definitely hire him again for our future carpetting needs. We will also recommend him to our friends and neighbor.

Mike did a beautiful job of installing a piece of carpet. He reduced the price of installation when he determined that our existing pad was in great condition and did not need to be replaced. Would definitely use his services again.

Mike answered my first call, came a couple of days later to provide an estimate and installed my existing carpet less than a week later. He was very prompt, professional and the job was very well done. Although using existing carpet that has been sitting in a crawl space for years is never a carpet installer's dream, he was very polite about this situation. Good guy, nice work, local presence. My contractor has found a new carpet guy to work with.
