I called Scott and a few other places in the morning. All called me back and Scott had the lowest price. He came that afternoon, exactly when he said he would and did the work for the price he quoted. It was supposed to snow the next day so I was very pleased he could fit us in and with the work itself. We will use him again.

Shamrock was absolutely great! Arrived on-time, called ahead to confirm appointment and to allow for me to get home from work, and completed the job in less than 30 minutes! They are a great company.

Responsive, made sure I was first appointment due to the inability to open garage at all and the need to be at work timely.

It went well, he was quick about getting the work done and did a good job. He was the most reasonably priced I found.

Two words - online scheduling. I love online scheduling because my work schedule is all over the place and sometimes I'm scheduling appointments online in the wee hours of the night. Our garage door opener stopped working and my husband decided that he would take a crack at it. As a result, we had a non-working garage door opener with the chain dangling from the ceiling. A quick Angie's List search led me to Shamrock Overhead Doors. I scheduled our appointment online and received two reminder emails prior to the appointment. The day of the appointment, Scott called to let us know he was running a little late. It seems the bitter cold weather is taking its toll on the garage doors of Central Ohio. Scott arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem. He had our door working in about 10 minutes and even lubricated all the squeaky wheels and joints. He was very friendly and professional. I would most definitely call Shamrock again the future.

One of the internal springs to the torque tube broke rendering the garage door inoperable without a bicep assist. This gets the door up and the cars out, but is risky as the second spring could fail at any time - a dangerous proposition. I found this firm on Angie's List and called at 10:30 AM. Scott's wife answered the phone on my first attempt - on a Saturday morning. Based on my description of the problem, she correctly correlated the issue with the exact make of our garage door. She new what parts were likely required, contacted her husband while he was on another call, and Scott arrived a bit over an hour later with everything required for the replacement. The diagnosis was correct and the repairs were completed in about 20 minutes. This included removal of the torque tube, replacement with a traditional spring (visible - not hidden in a tube), testing and adjusting the door, and removal of the old material. While the price for parts and labor was $285, it was a Saturday and the door was fully restored on the first visit. Total time from torque tube failure to complete replacement was under two hours - including my search on Angie's List. Great service and fixed right the first time. I recommend Scott (and his wife) for all of your garage door needs.

Scott came out on a bitter cold day and quickly figured out my problem and fixed it in 10 minutes. Very professional. Will def. use him again.

I called numerous garage door places on the morning that I found my broken door spring. Scott was the only one that said he would make it out before noon to fix the spring. Not only was he right on time, he was very friendly and fast! As a matter of fact a couple weeks later I was having problems with the same door, and he came right out and fixed it! I would highly recommend giving him a call for all your garage door needs.

Our garage door wouldn't open. They came out the day after I called (not an emergency). He called about 15 minutes ahead, and had the door fixed in about 20 minutes. I was expecting to spend my whole day waiting around, and was pleasantly surprised that they were so prompt and efficient. I will definitely call them in the future.

Responsive, prompt, and efficient service. Third time I've used Shamrock. Scott really knows garage doors and openers. Had a gear changed and opener fixed in less than 30 minutes. Great, fixed it fast, checked and serviced the other door as well. Lots of helpful hints to keep things going well, and really knew his stuff.

He came over, after hours, within 10 minutes of my panicked call. There was a small (really very small) after hours charge, which I was happy to pay for the quick and friendly response. He did a great job!

Our garage door was stuck closed. Kind of a problem when you got to go to or come home from work. He offered to come that evening but my cell was dead and I didn't get his message. Thank goodness he just showed up the next morning at 8:30. He knows what matters. Thanks!!

The gentleman had informed me that he had to have surgery before installing the first garage door opener. I allowed him to come out after his surgery to do the work. He was laboring around throughout the job. I called him and mentioned that the seal was not put on flush. The seal was only nailed down every few spots that it indicates for nails to be placed. You could see gaps in the seal where critters can get through. He wanted to come out immediately, but I was ill and asked to reschedule when I was better. I called him recently because the garage door wouldn't open on the house next door. He came out that day, now November 2013 and started working on it. He replaced a part on the garage door opener. He progressively gets more irritable throughout the job. He makes critical remarks. He was telling me the seal cannot be fixed unless I get an entirely new garage door! The strip just needed to be fastened correctly! I asked him if he warrantied his work on the garage door opener remote control(Lift Master Universal) and he said no because people drop them sometimes and he wouldn't be responsible. He said he would program it for me. He told me he couldn't program it for both garage doors because of the frequency of the other garage door opener on the house next door. I contacted Angie's List to inquire about the warranty and they said they typically offer warranties on new opener remotes. He felt bad because of our prior interaction and he apologized and brought me a fruit basket. I made sure the next time he came to work that everything was out of his way! I talked to him again today and he was very short with me on the phone. He told me that he was in a rush and I need to make it quick. I informed him of the warranty and he told me that I am hard to deal with and psychotic. He seems very high strung and very nervous. He stopped talking so I thought the call was over and I hung up. He called me back immediately, apologized, and tried to get permission to come over to my home to talk about it. I said no. He tried to offer a discount for the labor. He had an excuse for his nervousness and his hurry. He just has so many negative things to say about me. I retorted to an insult from him and he hung up on me. He called back, I ignored the call, and he left a message saying that we shouldn't get into that kind of language. He has made around $569 total being at my home. I don't think my seal was installed appropriately, as it folds over when the garage door goes down. He was terribly disrespectful to me. I am not in the best health and I made him aware of this. He had no right talking to me the way he did. He told me to leave the negative review so he could tell me all of the bad things he wants to say about me in his opportunity to reply to this review. The only thing I really wanted was a warranty on the garage door opener remote and the seal appropriately installed on my garage door. He is very difficult to bear. I know he cares about his profession(you can tell), but he can't control his emotions. I think people need to be made aware of the type of person they will have coming to their home. I won't be contacting him for any future work, but I do expect him to honor the warranties on the garage door openers he did work on.

Excellent. Very prompt and efficient. He could of easily told me I needed a whole new door but he instead was honest and said that a tune up on a few things would be just fine. Appreciate his honesty.

Excellent service that was delivered the same day and the garage door opener installed the next. Our garage door opener was old and completely went kaput. Shamrock came out and took a look, provided an estimate and installed the next day. An unusual display of outstanding service from a company. The price was very competitive. I wish all companies were as reliable, high quality and efficient as Shamrock.

Called Scott on the weekend, but I decided to wait until Monday for service so I didn't have to pay a weekend extra fee. Scott was very communicative and punctual. Scott did the work quickly and quoted me a price up front. The work is excellent and I would use Scott (Shamrock Overhead door) again.

Got estimates from Shamrock Door and another company. Shamrock offered the same quality door without being pushy about selling the most costly style. They noticed a defect in the door during installation, reported it to us and said that even though it would not effect the door's performance, they wanted to replace the defected panel at no charge to us. We were very satisfied with their service and will definitely call on them for our door maintenance needs.

Scott was very punctual, knowledgeable and efficient. So experienced that he finished the job in about ten minutes.

We now have a Chamberlain/Liftmaster which works quietly and efficiently. What a difference. Before the noise and squeaking were pretty loud. Now it makes almost no sound. We love it. Scott explained everything thoroughly and did the work quickly. We would highly recommend him to anyone.

I haD LEFT BROOM HANDLE AT EDGE OF GARAGE DOOR CAME DOWN AND IT IT KNOCKED IT OUT OF ALIGNMENT.oWNER CAME OUT WAS FANTASTIC VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND QUICKY FIXED IN FIFTEEN MINUTES .HE ALSO HAD A GARAGE DOOR OPENER WITH HIM WHICH WE PURCHASED .OURS HADNT WORKED IN 20 YEARS. Scott and I set an appointment but after checking his schedule Scott thought he might be too busy to get my door done the day we had scheduled . So he finished what he was doing, called, came over and fixed the door a day early. Scott was in and out quickly with the new springs being installed and all old material cleaned up and taken away. Scott was very professional in all aspects of our interactions and I would call him for any further problems with the garage door.
