Shamrock Overhead Door

Not well. I received a prompt call. Explained I had a 1 year old Genie garage door opener and remote. The remote stopped working and I could not get in programmed. Shamrock told me the Genie brand was junk and he could fix it, but when it broke again I'd be very upset. Shamrock stated he would put in a new Lift Master opener and remote for $349.00. I told him no thank you. I called another company and they stated Genie's were not perfect, but he could install a universal Lift Master remote with a one year warranty. The remote was $69. Now...how could Shamrock sell the Lift Master product and not be aware of the universal remote? I used Shamrock in the past so that is why I called them first.

Called Shamrock Overhead Door and spoke with Scott about replacing a broken spring. He was here and the work was complete within an hour of my call. Good guy, running a good business with very reasonable prices. I will definitely recommend him to my Dublin neighbors.

Shamrock did a great job. They arrived right on time (a little early, actually) and did the whole replacement in just 30 or 40 minutes. They were very professional. Would definitely hire them again.

It went fantastic. Shamrock was out within an hour and replaced both of my springs(on a Saturday morning!). I'm very impressed and will not hesitate to use them again.

Shamrock has a convenient on-line appointment scheduling system which worked well. I also called Scott to explain what was needed so that he would be prepared. When the scheduled appointment time came he called in advance to say that he would be a few minutes late. When Scott arrived, he worked quickly, did a great job and installed an opener that I am very happy to have. He was professional, courteous, and cleaned up. The price was fair and he honored the Angie's List coupon. I have no complaints and highly recommend Shamrock Overhead Door.

I made an appointment to have a garage door serviced for basic maintenance. We agreed on a time and I waited for two hours for Scott to show up. I called him and he assured me I was next on the list and would be there soon. He never showed up and never called. I missed work for this!! He easily could have rescheduled and I would have been OK with that.

I went on website Thursday night late to see when I could get help with the broken spring on my garage door, but couldn't get much help there from the chat person. So I left my number and hung up. Bright and early the next morning Scott called and said he would be out to fix it. So like an hour or so later he was there. He thought it would be in my best interest to change from springs to a torsion spring bar. It was less than $50 difference, so I said to go ahead. He had to come back the next day as he didn't have the parts with him for that and I was unavailable later in the day. Before he left he helped me to get my car out of the garage. He came back relatively early the next day and replaced everything and I was very impressed with the difference in operation. I was also very impressed with Scott. A very kind, professional and honest person. I was amazed by the whole experience. Thanks Scott!

Got home from work about 7pm, put the door down and heard a big "SNAP!!". Knew right away what happened. Looked on Angie's List, Noticed that Shamrock had a lot of A-ratings near my residence. Called them, and Scott answered - very courteous, polite, easy to talk to. He asked when I wanted the service - he offered standard daytime rates, but also evening service for a higher charge. I went for this evening - he was here in less than 30 minutes, and done 30 minutes later! Scott is very easy to work with, answered all of my questions, and the work is top notch. I'm absolutely calling him for anything about the door in the future. You can't go wrong with Shamrock Overhead Door.

I made my appointment on-line for 10am, got a call about 9:40 saying they were on their way. an hour later I called back wondering where they were but they had had an emergency call and went to take care of that. Thats fine, i just would have liked a call for an update. Scott arrived a little after 11am and immediately diagnosed the issue with the broken spring and suggested replacing it with 2 springs for added durability and function. the price difference between 1 and 2 was $30 bucks so we went with 2. He had the door fixed within a half hour. He was also very nice and professional. I will call him for any future garage door related issues.

Our garage door's torsion spring came undone so I called Scott and he came by on the way to another job within a half hour. He fixed it quickly and efficiently, explained what he did, and we were all set. I used him 6-7 years ago as well to fix our garage door so was confident I could rely on him.

Whenever I have garage door issues in either house, my first thought is Scott at shamrock. Came by to check my door, I thought was going to need to replace opener, but seemed to be working fine. I appreciate his ease in scheduling , knowledge and customer service

They broke at approximately 1PM. I left a voicemail at 1:31. My call was returned at 1:37. Scott said he'd be there and have the door repaired before 4p, when I had to leave. The job was done before 2:30p, that afternoon. Beat that, "State-Farm-is -There!" Man!

The garage door broke and my husband called the first company he saw on Google and made an appointment. I looked the first company up on Angie's List and saw they did not get good reviews, so I found Shamrock Overhead Door and canceled our first company. I called Scott at 9:30am on Saturday morning and he was at our house by 12:30pm that same day. He was very communicative about how far away he was, approx. what time he would be at our house and then when he was on his way. He did not charge us for an estimate or additional costs to come out on a weekend. We were very concerned we were going to have to get a new door since ours is older and by the looks of the issue. He took a look at the problem, immediately knew what to do to fix it, had the parts in his truck and went right to work. Scott is very, very good at his craft and is a very hard worker. He fixed our door and it is actually working better than it did before it broke. I strongly recommend calling Scott for ANY overhead door issues and working with locally owned companies such as his over the larger chains. He is very professional and we now have his sticker above our garage door opener if anything were to happen in the future. He would be the only person we would call in the future if we have an issue or when we are ready to replace the door someday. Thank you Scott!

Scott immediately knew went wrong and was able to fix everything (new brackets) including salvaging the garage door - helping me to avoid replacement. He was very courteous and understanding. The services were cost effective and worth every penny.

eScott came within a day of the service call. He diagnosed the problem as a failed limiter which prevented the garage door opener from working properly. He went about the work quickly but in a thorough manner. He replaced the part and the opener worked well. He also sprayed the moving parts with a lubricant for better operation. I have been a customer of Shamrock Overhead Door for several years and based on this service call will continue to be.

I called Shamrock on Friday afternoon and he came out to look at our opener. It couldn't be repaired so we arranged for him to come back Monday morning and replace it. Scott came out when he said he would and got the new one put up and showed us how it work. When one of the remotes stopped working a few weeks later he came back and replaced it without any questions.
