Shamrock Overhead Door

I called Shamrock Overhead Door and they were able to come out immediately to diagnose the problem and repair it. Steve was very helpful, educating me about garage door maintenance. He also fixed the garage door button that hadn't been working for ages. This was a very quick, easy, informational and relatively cheap visit!

Shortly after I called and left a message for Shamrock Overhead Door requesting service, I recieved a call from the owner. He said he would be there within the hour and he was. He showed me what was wrong and proceeded to replace the two springs. It took less than an hour. I found him to be very polite and personable. The cost was reasonable and he gave me credit for a $10 coupon. I would contact him again when needed and would be glad to refer him to others.

I had been calling around to several Angie's List top service providers to get estimates on a new garage door and opener (per our Home Inspector's recommendation, and the fact that it had broke a few days ago) and Scott came out the same day of my call to take a look. After looking at our door, and quoting a price that beat most of the members on Angie's List, he said that there wasn't anything wrong with the door and he was wondering why we were replacing it. He quickly found what was wrong and said he could fix it right then and there. His honesty saved us spending $1000+ on a new garage door and opener and he got everything back running in 15 minutes. Great guy, great service, and I will definitely be calling Shamrock for anything I need!

Scott arrived as scheduled and completed the spring replacement in about 30 minutes. He is a nice man and was a pleasure to work with.

Our garage door opener stopped working and for about a week and a half we put up with it by manually opening and closing the door. Finally we couldn't stand it anymore and I called Shamrock. I called on a Thursday afternoon. Scott had already scheduled a full day but came by at 8pm that evening to look at the opener. He determined that the mechanisms inside the opener was no longer working. I could either replace the "brains" for what he estimated to be around $200, which he did not do, or I could replace the entire opener with another brand (Liftmaster), which he could install for us. My husband and I decided just to replace the whole thing since that opener (a Genie brand) died on us after only 4 1/2 years. Scott came out the very next day and in less than a couple hours had the whole job done.

Fantastic service and quality work at a very reasonable price. I called on a Sunday expecting to schedule the job for later in the week. Scott offered to come out on Sunday at no extra cost. He was on the job in an hour. Both springs were replaced and adjusted without any problems. I would recommend Scott and Shamrock Overhead Door to anyone needing work done on their garage door or their door replaced.

Was responsive in returning my call. Was able to come out later that same day. Replaced spring quickly and was efficient. He found that the previous spring was missing a piece on the end and he also replaced that as well. Very happy and would use again.

This was my first time using Shamrock Overhead Door. I must say I won't call anyone but Scott from now on. I called around 9:30am and within 3 hours he was at my house. He was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and I was extremely impressed with his pricing, very reasonable! After the repair was complete Scott took the time to check and tighten all hinges and lubricarte the track and rollers which made the door much quieter. Thanks Scott, A+++ job!

I called at 8:30 a.m. He came at 9:30 a.m. The door was fixed by 11:30 a.m. Urgency was important because the panel was missing and a person could easily fit through the hole into my garage.

My garage door was not going down all the way - it would stop like it was hitting something and go back up. The owner came within a day of my calling and quickly got the door working again. He even had 2 remotes I could buy and he got those all set up. Fabulous service!! I would definately use again and have already recommended them.

My garage door broke unexpectedly early Saturday evening, trapping both of my cars inside. I had never experienced a garage door problem before - so wasn't sure what to do. By good fortune, I found Shamrock Overhead Door in the yellow pages and Scott answered right away. He was just finishing up a job nearby and came right over. He was able to immediately identify the problem and replace both springs. He even tightened up some loose bolts, gave me good advice on how to easily seal some cracks on the inside of the door; and even taught me how to reset the door opener keypad code. (I had no idea). I am so grateful to Scott. He was professional, easy to work with - and best of all he was able to help on a Saturday evening when most garage door companies are closed or charging emergency rates. I highly recommend Shamrock Overhead Door and will absolutely hire again. Excellent work - thank you very, very much.

It was a very good experience. They came out pretty fast. I called them in the morning and they were here in the afternoon. They got everything fixed at a reasonable price. They did the work at least a month ago.

I called Shamrock for a quote on installing two new garage doors I had already purchased from Home Depot. When Scott came out to provide me with a quote, he matched the lowest quote I had, was able to sell me better doors than the ones I had purchased and committed to installing them sooner than anyone else could. I returned the doors to Home Depot and bought the doors and service from Scott. He came out the following Wednesday and installed the new doors quickly and expertly. I found the doors he sold me to be very high quality and the customer service excellent. If you are looking for garage door service or installation, I highly recommend Scott and Shamrock Overhead Door.

Superbly! The owner was on the road and detoured to respond to our call for assistance. We couldn't get the garage door to open. He was at our home in what seemed like minutes. He got to work immediately and had the operator fixed in short order. I can recommend him without reservation.

Excellent. I called as soon as I saw that it had broken and he was able to come over within a half hour. He took one look at the problem, told me how much it would be, and got started. Took him about 20 minutes. Works great. Pleasant experience.

Wonderful. Awesomely quick, professional, and reasonablly priced. He even greased the springs on our non-broken garage door for free.

He is great. He comes out the same day you call him and pretty quickly, too. He fixes only what has to be done. He also explained to me how to reprogram the garage remote, which was nice because the house was new to us and we weren't left with any information on how to do it. I also asked him a question about a lift in our garage for my daughter who is in a wheel chair. He came back out with his dad to try and fix it then wouldn't take any money for it. He simply wanted to do it, this guy is really great.

That evening when I got home the door would still not work from my car. I called Scott and he said I needed a new garage door opener, he would deduct the earlier bill from the total and would be out the next day at 11:15 to replace opener. He was prompt, on time, and he knew he had to leave at a certain time and finished well before. He left everything clean and neat, but best of all, the new opener runs smooth, quiet and efficiently. Wrote him a check for balance due and I would call him again plus recommend him to neighbors and friends.
