Description of Work: So I woke up late and was in a panic to get to work. Jumped in car, pushed button for garage door, put in reverse and hit the gas. BOOM, hit the garage door! Needless to say not a good morning. Door was bent and would not go down. Ran inside, got on Angies list and started calling. First one was not even opened yet. Second one no answer. Put down phone frustrated and my phone rang. It was Shamrock overhead. I explained what I did he stated he could come right out. After he arrived he was working so fast I thought he might have a heart attack! He got the door back together and working super fast. I expected a huge bill and he said $74.00.....I was so relieved. Description of Work: The sensor that tells the door to stop going up broke last night around 7pm. I called Shamrock b/c the last time I had an issue they were the only company that actually fixed the problem rather than try to sell me a new door. Scott answered the phone, even though he was at a funeral, and let me know that he would call me first thing in the morning. He was true to his word and we spoke this morning as he was in route to my house. I was able to give him my inexperienced assessment of what I thought was going on and he knew right away what needed to be fixed. He promptly showed up and fixed my problem in no time! GREAT SERVICE! I recommend this guy to all of my friends in Columbus. If every company provided services the way this guy does, we would all be very happy! Can't say enough about Scott. I guess the most telling thing is that he left my house 10 minutes ago and I am so satisfied that the first thing I did was get on Angie's and tell everyone how great he is! Description of Work: I called Scott several days before Christmas 2011 because my garage door would not open. He said that he happened to be in the area and would stop by in an hour or so. He stopped by, as promised, and found that one of the springs on my door had broken. He said that it was probable that the second spring would break soon and he offered to replace that as well, although he did not pressure me into having both done. I decided to have both springs replaced. Scott replaced both springs in a quick and professional manner.

Description of Work: Wow! I called Scott at 8:15, car trapped in my garage with broken springs. By 9:15 it is fixed and working better than ever! I actually shocked at how low the cost was, especially given the immediacy of the need. I now have a garage door guy I will use from here on.

Description of Work: The garage door had gotten stuck on the door frame. Service person realigned the door and checked for further functioning. Advised that the whole mechanism is old and out-of-date and will probably need replacement soon. But no pressure to buy a new one from Shamrock.
