He even entertained my 3 year old son who still tells me how much fun he had fixing things w/ Mr. Carmine. We will definitely be repeat customers.

+ 0 moreCarmine was friendly, punctual, and professional. He is not a budget handyman but he is a prime example of "you get what you pay for." He is definitely someone I will hire in the future and someone I have no reservations referring. In fact I just recommended him to a neighbor and while it's been months since I've had him by, I felt compelled to write this review.
Description of Work: Repaired entryway wood rot, temporized some window problems, patched some bird holes and other siding problems, helped with on-wall television mounting, and performed some minor painting.

+ 5 moreCarmine was very professional and punctual. He fixed several small things in my house and he is excellent in what he does and he takes pride with his work. He even picked up the needed materials from Lowe's even before showed up at my home. He completed the work on time as promised. He has noticed some other small repairs around the house and fixed them without extra charge. Overall, Carmine did a very good job and i am extremely satisfied with his work.

The estimating process was simple, he listened to my descriptions and input, and then he staged out the work he planned to perform very clearly. The day of the work he arrived on time and required little to no oversight. He entertained a number of additional questions and made sure I had an understanding of any deviations from our previous discussion. The quality of work was great and I'd definitely use him again.

+ -1 moreWe scheduled the installation for yesterday, he came in on-time, helped me unpack the microwave, move things around in the kitchen, remove the old microwave and the install the new one. It took extra work as the new mounting bracket was slightly different (although both were GE models) so he had to improvise by drilling new holes in the metal bracket so we would screw it into a stud; then he had to drill new holes in the cabinet as those holes also changed. My wife loves the way the new microwave looks and we definitely will be using Quality Transformations again in the future.
Description of Work: My microwave died a couple of weeks ago and I ordered a replacement online. It arrived late last week so I contacted Quality Transformations as Carmine had done previous work for me so he could do the installation.

+ 4 moreLike a typical man, I had a nagging wife (don't tell her I said that) and a list of "honey do's" to get done over the summer. While I had every intention of doing these projects myself, in the end I decided to seek some help. In my first meeting with Carmine, I quickly discovered that I had found my gateway to getting my projects completed and making my wife happy in the meantime. He did the attic fan job first (I justified out sourcing that one since it involved not only electrical, but roof structural changes) and it was a huge success. We used the fan almost every night during the summer and greatly reduced our A/C running costs. From there, the project list just grew and resulted in work well done.
Description of Work: I have had Carmine do a good deal of work for me over the last 6 months. This most recent project was to install a pull down ladder for my garage attic access. He was very prompt, thorough and professional in his approach. While I originally purchased the wrong size of ladder for the job thinking I could do the job myself, Carmine performed the exchange for me at the hardware store and purchased the correct ladder needed. He went above and beyond the call of duty by installing some plywood on the attic floor so I could walk up there for storage purposes. I've had him do other jobs like fixing my kitchen sink leak, installing a whole house fan in my upstairs attic, painting my downstairs dining room and ceiling and fixing some electrical issues in my basement. I've found Carmine to be very competitively priced, prompt, clean and professional. I will definitely call him for future work and have recommended him to my neighbors and family.

+ 6 moreI was very impressed with his performance. He was detail oriented and made sure that everything was cleaned up after he left each room. Carmine also likes to provide information based on his experience. For example, he noticed that the hedges were completely wild so he suggested trimming them so that the front of the house had better curb appeal. He also checked the gutters as we indicated we had never taken a look up there. He removed a few pounds of dirt from them. There were a lot of small drywall maintenance items that took a lot of time but he ended up staying an extra hour just to finish up as much as he could the first day. He was back promptly the following week on Tuesday as we agreed and was able to put in the electrical outlet getting the line from the basement, then installed the kitchen faucet. He left me the old one so I could inspect the damaged condition it was in.
Description of Work: Carmine came over and in a period of about 8 hours, he power washed the deck and the front of the house, did some drywall repair, cleaned out the gutters, glued down laminate stripes between the rooms, fixed some hanging baskets, trimmed hedges and multiple additional items. He then came back the following week to replace a kitchen faucet that was completely corroded replacing it with a new one we had purchased over the weekend, and install a new electrical outlet in the main hallway.
