Our experience the day we went in was OK, but once we had the guy out who installs their logs it turned bad (he was wonderful). The lady a Provincial had sold us the wrong set of logs- they were too big for our fireplace. She REFUSED to give us the same discount on our smaller set of logs as she had on the big set. Reluctantly I went home only later that day to find out that our fireplace does NOT allow the use of vent-free logs. When I returned the logs the lady would not even speak to me and was very rude... did NOT even offer to sell me the correct non-vent-free logs. Our fireplace door took over 2 months to arrive and be installed even with several phone calls at 5 weeks being told they would be in the next week. This happened twice. Once they arrived I realized she had ordered the wrong door handles, but decided it was not worth the trouble to get it fixed. The person who installed the doors was very good and nice.
Description of Work: We took in the information (manual) on our fireplace knowing nothing about what we needed. They sold us a vent-free set of gas logs with a remote control. We also purchased fireplace doors that were to be installed within 5-6 weeks. This was during their big winter sale.

WE OBJECTED TO THE CONTRACT AND THE WAY IN WHICH PAYMENT WAS HANDLED. AFTER WE USED OUR DEBIT CARD TO PURCHASE A BOTTLE OF STONE CLEANER, THEY CHARGED THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE GLASS DOORS AND INSTALLATION TO OUR DEBIT CARD WITHOUT OUR AUTHORIZATION, BEFORE THE WORK WAS DONE. THEY CHARGED US $80.00 TO COME OUT TO THE HOUSE AND MEASURE THE FIREPLACE OPENINGS, BUT THE CONTRACT SAID ''SELLER ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR MERCHANDISE PURCHASED THAT IS TOO LARGE TO FIT.'' WE COMPLAINED. HOWEVER THE WORK WAS DONE BEAUTIFULLY AND ON TIME, AND ALTHOUGH ONE PART WAS TOO BIG TO FIT, THEY REPLACED IT WITHOUT CHARGING EXTRA. IF WE USED THEM AGAIN, WE WOULD BE VERY CIRCUMSPECT.
