Description of Work: Moved belongings.

Description of Work: I will not have the final answer until furniture is moved out of storage in Jacksonville,Fl. Right now I know several boxes were packed and not marked as to their contents for the room they were in. There were a few boxes that were crushed probably by other boxes/furniture being stacked on top of them. Some had to be re-boxed at storage facility. Had higher expectations for this company!!!!

Description of Work: Angie's List special, 2 guys and a truck for 2 hours. We got it done in less than the 2 hours, so there were no additional charges.

Description of Work: Moved household furniture and items from condo into house. On time, professional and friendly movers. Sorry, can't remember their names, but service was exceptional.

Description of Work: There was initial confusion as I purchased the move for my son and the names did not match. There was also an error n the contact phone number. I ended up calling the main number and we were able to get it all worked out. We were even given a discount on additional time that resulted from time lost in clearing up the confusion. Great customer service, which is becoming rare.

Description of Work: Unloaded two pods into residence. They were very careful and worked non-stop in order to allow for our pods to be dropped and picked up in a timely manner. Would definitely use them in the future.

Description of Work: They moved five pieces of very heavy furniture from my condo in Cleveland to my house in Columbus. I was concerned that the travertine top might break with the move but they were very careful handling it. The crew on both ends of the move were professional and helpful. Cody and Derek on the Columbus side of the move were very helpful placing the furniture pieces

Description of Work: There service was subpar at best. The movers were not professional and smelled of a strong cigarette odor. They worked by the hour, and I felt purposefully moved things in a slow and unorganized manner. This was despite having pre-arranged items in a manner to have items at the door waiting to be moved into the truck. The movers did not have power tools to dissemble the beds, so he used a hand screw driver which took an additional 45 minutes. Upon arriving to the new location, the movers then tried to reassemble the bed with the hand tools with screws not fully screwed in place. I finally told them to just leave the beds although and I had to finish the job. After this experience, I contacted the company to place a compliant but I never received a response. I would STRONGLY DISCOURAGE anyone from using their services.

Description of Work: I have used Moving Ahead services numerous times. I have also referred numerous people to them. I highly recommend them, and I will use them again. | |For this move, they were as good as always. They came on time, and they finished the job extremely quick. They were very cognizant of protecting certain items, and they listened to the placement directions well. | |On this move, one of the movers was an experienced veteran mover, and it was the other person's first day on the job. The veteran mover was phenomenal. The new guy struggled at times. But with the help of the veteran, the move still went very well. | |I do not recall the actual price, but I know they were the best price around...by far. | |Also, at the end of the move, a small piece of glass from a cabinet was left in the moving truck. I realized a few days later and called the company to inquire. They could not find the glass, but the owner sent me a check for a new piece the same day I called! That was absolutely tremendous service, and I know they would do the right thing if any situation were to arise with the items moved.

Description of Work: They moved my possessions in a 3 bedroom home from Columbus, OH to Hilton Head, SC. They did a wonderful job.

Description of Work: The moved our entire apartment into our new single family home. We had several large pieces of furniture that were hard to maneuver and carry and they did it without ruining the furniture or the walls. We have used them in our move from Cleveland to Columbus and then from our apartment in Columbus to our home. Whenever we need to move again we plan to use Moving Ahead services
