We packed almost everything in boxes except bulky items ahead of times. The movers came on time and started to move stuff swiftly. They handled everything carefully and protected some of them with blankets in the truck. Everything was packed nicely and efficiently in the truck and both moving out and moving in were very smooth and quick. We liked them so much so we used the same company again when we moved out the apartment and then relocated into another one year later. Again, they did an excellent job!

it was a stress free experience. The movers were on time, very capable and efficient. A grandfather clock and bedroom set were involved and they were knowledgeable and everything went great. I had paid for 3 hours and they accomplished the move within that time.

ordered boxes, delivered, forgot to give us one bar that goes to a wardrobe box, caught them before they left neighborhood and they returned and dropped it off. All good!

Last minute my moving help unloading my moving van from my out of town of move due to injuries and sickness. I called Moving Ahead Services and they were able to schedule some unloading help the very next day and on a weekend. The guys showed up early and had my trailer and truck unloaded quickly. Very professional and efficient and offered advice on other services in the area. Would definitely recommend and use again!

They were on time and did not waste time as they worked. Even though it was hot and I had pitchers of ice water ready for them, they would stop long enough for a quick drink then right back to work. Both groups of young men were very professional, worked quickly but carefully. They talked with us and joked some but all the while they were busy. Any request I had, they completed with care and good humor the whole time. They definitely made a big job much easier for me. They showed the same care of my things as they would have if it were their things they were moving. I felt very comfortable around them as they were all business but still every inch gentlemen. I would hire them again in a minute but I hope I don't have to move again.

They were prompt, efficient, accommodating, pleasant and professional. It was an excellent experience.

Our two movers did an excellent job. They were courteous, professional, and efficient with time. I have moved many times, and I have never seen movers take such good care of our belongings. Our new home was only about 1 mile from our apartment, but every precaution was taken to make sure nothing was damaged or scratched (and it worked). We had no items broken, scratched, damaged, etc. Our furniture was wrapped, padded, and transported with exceptional care. We used the 3-hour deal promoted on Angie's list (excellent price!), and after everything was moved from our apartment, there was still enough time to go to our storage facility and get all our belongings out of storage move to our house. The movers were very willing to help move our belongings from storage as well. This was definitely the best moving experience we had, and I would highly recommend this company.

When I called, they were able to give me quote over the phone immediately and were able to schedule the move. The quote was based on a time and materials basis, so I had no fixed estimate for the move. WIth the Angies List coupon that was avaialble, the final cost was comporable toother estimates that we had received. The crew showed up on time and completed the move in about 5 hours. They were able to handle the large, extremely heavy furntiure without any damage to the house, condo or furniture. When necessary, they removed hand rails and reinstalled them with no damage. The crew was extrememly professional, courteous and respectiful throughout the move. When they were done, they made sure that they had cleaned up anything that they had used, oincluding the ptorectivesheeting they had put down.

They did a great job. Everyone was very professional, careful with our stuff and worked very quickly. All our furniture, china etc arrived in good shape.

I was all set to move with another (very popular) company when I saw a coupon on Angie's List for these guys. It seemed to good to be true, but I checked out their reviews and they looked like a great company, so I cancelled my other company and booked with Moving Ahead. They called about 20 minutes before the scheduled start time and said they would be about 15 minutes late- which I appreciated. They showed up at 9:15, did a walk-through of the house on what was and wasn't to be moved. We reviewed their contract and they got to work. During the move, they were very professional and never paused. I had a coupon for a fixed number of hours and was curious to see if they dragged the job out to get extra time- but they never slowed down. They always addressed me as "Sir" (which is a little off-putting, since I'm only 43, but I appreciated the professionalism). And were diligent to confirm things like taking a light fixture off the wall on the stairway- which was sure to take a hit or two during the move. They actually completed the job early and volunteered to do extra work for the remainder of the time. I couldn't be more pleased. Moving is always very stressful, but after about 15 minutes into the job, I felt like getting my things moved quickly and safely was not something I was going to have to worry about, and allowed me to focus on the 400 other things that I needed to. :)

The job went very well.

The guys were great - very considerate of the furniture and very efficient in moving the furniture. I had a couple of heavy pieces and they were very careful with all. Even moved furniture within my home from one room to another. I had a coupon from Angie's list - a great deal, $249 for 3 hours. I didn't have to bring it up; they asked me if I was a member when I called to book the time.

This was the first time we hired movers. It was a wonderful experience. They were on time, quick, and efficient. They had good humor, they were a pleasure to work with, and were very helpful.

The group arrived about 30 mins. late, but after a walk-through, they began right away. They worked without stopping till 2:00 and packed up all they could. After a short lunch break, we met at the new aprtment, adn they unloaded; the small elevator hindered a rapid move-in, but they worked tirelessly and finished about 8:30 pm. At all times, the guys were courteous and pleasant; no items were damaged or broken. There was, unfortunately, a large amount of glassware and accessories still at the condo to be packed and moved by me, since the movers did nto have emough packing materials (we went to Lowe's twice to get additional bubble wrap and boxes). We had already moved alot of the bath and kitchen items to the new apartment. I might use these folks again, but would want to be very sure they understood clearly the size of the job.

Three people showed up to help us move to a new house. We had packed some material, but asked for additional assistance with items we did not pack. The team was prompt, careful with our possessions, and worked hard. We moved from a four floor house to a two story house. The move included a washer and dryer and a refrigerator, along with furniture, and miscellaneous items.We were very pleased with their overall work, which was completed in one long Saturday. The following Monday, we called the main office to express how pleased we were with the service.

Both moves went very well. They were nice and friendly. When moving they made sure to place all items in the unit and house.

The team was professional, courteous and worked extremely hard to get us moved into our new home in a timely manner. Nothing was damaged and they were very accommodating as it relates to moving items/furniture into different locations.

The experience was wonderful overall! They were a good group of guys to work with. We would use them again the next time we need a moving company.

The movers arrived about 30 minutes early to make sure they had time to survey the house and start packing right on time. They came completely prepared with all packing and loading materials. The packing took less time than expected. Since we chose a partner storage provider (Cardinal Self Storage), they were able to unload everything into storage without us being present. Overall, this was the smoothest and easiest of our six moves in the past ten years.

I was very satisfied with my experience. I used an Angie's List Big Deal coupon ($375 for $500 worth of moving) and Jeff Collins contacted me right away and stayed in touch by email including confirming the appointment the day before the move. The two movers, Alec and Sterling, were very good. After a brief walk-through and explanation of how things would work in terms of logistics and "overtime" they got right to work. Both men were friendly and personable, they didn't waste time but they took time to be careful with my belongings. They knew what they were doing and were able to get my queen sized box upstairs and negotiate a tight hallway turn in an older home. To save time, I had already taken apart 2 of the 3 beds, taken out the dresser drawers and removable shelves from book cases and disconnected the appliances. But still I knew that the time would be tight and we did run over by an hour or a little more, for which I paid the overage amount. Moving Ahead had sent 2 men and a truck, which was probably the right decision for what I had to move. Since it was a local move, I was handling most of the household and personal items myself. They only moved the very heavy stuff which was what I needed. In retrospect, I might have negotiated up front or them to move some additional items but that's my lack of foresight. All in all, I was very pleased with their services and tipped the two men for their work and for being so personable.

Moving Ahead Services was very professional in communications throught my travels to Ohio. The movers unloaded my truck in record time with no damages and the crew leader even took me to the airport the following day. It was a pleasure working with them.

We contracted this company to move 2 large couches, 2 large dressers, a piano, 2 beds and refrigerator. The movers were very careful with our items and polite. I was impressed at how responsive the owner was for my quote. After describing the items to be moved he assured me that the job shouldn't take more than 2 hours. It ended up taking 4.5 hours. I was disappointed that our move took 1.5 hours longer than planned and that they were not able to move our piano- and thus, we paid $150 more than expected. However, when I called/emailed the company they were very responsive and resolved our complaint in a timely manner. I would recommend this company.

The move was scheduled within two days. -We received a personal reminder call prior to the moving day. -Alec and Scott arrived promptly, were very personable and handled my mother's furniture very professionally. They took extra measures to insure that a family antique was wrapped and transported very carefully. -All items arrived in fine shape:)

I bought the Angie's List deal. The total bill was $1100 without the Angie's List deal. I used them because I got them off of Angie's List. I would use them again in the future if need be.
