Three workers moved our items into a POD for storage. They were there at on time at 9am on a Sunday, and in 2 hours they moved our items into a POD that we're using for storage for a few months. Some of these items were HEAVY and these guys did a great job. Very courteous and professional. The team was Joel, Ryan, and Desmond. I'd definitely hire them again.

We tried to plan out the move so that it was all included in the deal and there were no additional costs. I felt that cost was reasonable for the services. Everything turned out just fine and they did a great job. There were no damages with any of my items. I was very pleased with them and I probably hire them in future.

Moving Ahead helped move the larger items (kitchen appliances, reclining couches, piano, ect.) to my new house. They were very quick and very friendly. They completing my total move (ending up filling the entire 16 foot truck to the brim) in 2.5 hrs. I would most certainly use this company again and would definitely recommend to others.

This was the best experience with a moving company I've ever had. I solicited quotes from three companies before making the move. I decided to go with Moving Ahead in part because theirs was the lowest quote; more important to me, however, was the fact that they were the only company to physically come to my home to do a thorough walk-through before providing that quote. I was able to order boxes through them that were dropped off at my house. I did a price comparison with the boxes I could buy at U-Haul or a similar place and for more than 3/4 of the sizes I needed, Moving Ahead was the better choice (not to mention WAY easier since they came right to my door). They offered additional services and I did take advantage of their cleaning services to prep the place I was moving out of for the next occupant. All of the staff members with whom I worked were fabulous. The team members on moving day were careful, efficient, easy-going, and fun. They took excellent care of my belongings -- the only item broken in the move was the result on my not securing it well enough. I feel badly that it's taken me this long to post a review (I'm just now unpacked and settling in) because choosing this company was the best decision I made in my move.

We had to move in a hurry, so we purchased a deal on Angie's List and hoped they could squeeze us into their schedule. We were surprised when they called us the next day to make the appointment. They were upfront about the process and cost. The day of the move, they showed up five minutes before their appointed time, worked hard all day, moved our stuff carefully and quickly, and treated my wife and I respectfully. What more could we ask for. Thanks guys!

Great job, start to finish; even with cold rain. Hardworking, courteous and personable movers who paid attention to detail and worked with me to move some difficult oversize pieces to storage. Once at storage facility, arranged items so that I would have access to several pieces that I might need. Took care with all items. I will hire again this year for full household move.

The move went very well. The morning of the move it was snowing and very cold so the the team of movers contacted me to say they would be running 10-15 minutes late due to traffic. They arrived, walked through the areas to review all that needed to be loaded. Went over all the details of the move, and got right to work. The only small problem was that I had requested they bring wardrobe boxes, and that did not get indicated on the order. So just loaded hang up clothes in my car. They laid boxes to protect carpet around the entry and covered the doorways and railings where needed to protect everything while the furniture was moved out. There was a team of 3 and they worked very efficiently and took good care of all of my belongings. Once everything was loaded, we had one other stop to pick up another piece of furniture which was quickly loaded then went to the new place. The same process took place at the new place where we walked through the layout. All the furniture and boxes were labeled with their new location. Everything was quickly unloaded. The team of guys were great to work with, very polite, and I appreciated how they took care of everything. I would definitely recommend this company for your move. I would definitely use them again. They made the move as painless as possible!

|I was so impressed with Desmond & Joel. They were exactly on time. Professional, courteous and efficient. We just used them again last Friday for another move. I've given out their cards and info to my friends. It was the best moving experience I've ever had!

Company was hired to move household furniture to new home. Price was excellent as was the punctuality and responsiveness. The crew worked very hard and I received more than my money's worth (charge was by the hour with a maximum limit). I gave them a 'B' for professionalism because although the crew chief definitely had a lot of moving experience, I had some doubts as to the experience of two of the remaining 3 guys (just my take). A couple of rub marks on the walls and furniture dings but nothing major. Would not hesitate to hire them again and would highly recommend the company.

They showed up on time, did what they said they would do. Nothing was damaged. They took care not to soil our new carpet or bang the walls. They were excellent.

They appeared on time and were very professional. They moved all of our furniture very carefully and placed it where we requested. They went above and beyond making the move experience more pleasant than I ever expected. I would definitely use them again!

We were worried about staying under 2 hours to get the price, but they were very efficient and had everything moved in a little over an hour.

I hired them again because the first time was excellent. However, this time was not as good. I did not let them know about the box but it had a lot of broken glass. They also scratched some of my furniture including my bed. I called them about my bed and they came out right away to resolve the issue. The price was a lot more than originally estimated. It took a lot longer than expected. They said if they had another worker it would have gone faster and the price would have been cheaper. I had everything packed and labeled where I wanted it placed. It was very organized. However, The guy continued to look at his watch and talked on the phone because he wanted to get to another job. I felt they rushed the entire time and did not place the boxes were I wanted. They even threw some things around. I would not use their service again.

They did a very good job. They communicated well. They were very through.professional, and courteous. Nothing was damaged or broken. The price was what the originally quoted and I have no complaints with the service.

They were resonantly priced, professional, and careful with our stuff. I had no problems with scheduling and everything went well.

The service was okay. They did bring the wrong sized truck but they came two hours away so we were stuck with it. There must have been miss-communication because I told them how much stuff would be moved.

Tim Lake was the most professional, competent person that I've dealt with in a long time. He deserves to be commended. The rest of the team did excellent also but as their leader Tim went above and beyond. When bad weather struck in Ohio he worked around it and left and thus drove differently than originally planned and still arrived early for a Sunday morning delivery. He took extra care with the items that were special to me. He made sure that all of the big pieces of furniture were where I wanted them before he finished putting them together. He even took 2 extra hours to put a weight systems back together for me. I would highly recommend this group to everyone.

They came on short notice, were punctual, and polite. I had an antique piece of furniture in a stairwell that they had to maneuver around and they did so with no problems. They dd a great job and I would definitely use them again.

Last minute appointment. On time! Cost less than estimate! Extreme care and due diligence - even on a snowy day. Wrapped all furniture to protect it. Took care to not soil carpeting at all three locations. Pleasant, hard working movers. Bob's team including Kevin and Jaris were AMAZING!
