Met with Matt for the estimation of the work to be done. He was prompt and very courteous, provided the estimate via email so was very convenient. The packing and move occurred on 2 consecutive days. The first day, the team arrived on time and started packing up the whole house. Went well. The 2nd day, the team again arrived on time with 2 large trucks for the load and move. There was still some packing that was done on the 2nd day while loading was occurring. They took great care with all of the furniture - no damage at all - of which I was very impressed. There was some damage done to a wall while moving a large piece of furniture. This was taken care of by the team leader via reimbursement for some of the time/work. He was very apologetic and helpful. The team, in general, were very respectful, polite and courteous. I would hire them again without reservation.

Overall, excellent. Underestimated on my part to carry some items on my own and missed to pack some stuff which took longer, but they are very good with already packed stuff.

Excellent. The crew was not only timely, but arrived early. Calling ahead to make sure that was okay and that they were on the way. The crew was extremely nice and efficient, cleaned up after themselves (it had rained that day), made sure they took care of all our needs. There was no damage to any of our items.

The scratched p most of my furniture and break up a chair that they told me they would replace but did not.

They were very accommodating and understanding to a couple schedule changes due to delays completing the sale of our home. They also worked with us to find the most inexpensive options. Lastly, once they arrived in the Knoxville area, they called with an option to keep the current delivery date or take delivery early. This worked out perfectly as we were able to sleep in our new home the same day as the closing. Highly recommend.

The movers were patient and very careful. The furniture retailer warehouse where we needed to pick up a new coffee table held us up as the lift-up portion of the coffee table was not assembled despite the fact that they were expecting us, and a paint smear from the factory needed to be removed, or Moving Ahead would have accomplished they entire series of pick-ups and drop-offs within the 2 hours originally purchased. As it was, they ran over only slightly, and we only needed to pay for another fraction of an hour.

We did not end up selecting Moving Ahead, however, the manager that came to do the estimate was on time, courteous, thorough, and happy to answer any questions we had. While they will not be doing our move, I would recommend anyone looking to move to talk to them. Their rate was the best of the 4 quotes we received and I have no doubt they would have done a fantastic job.

We have used Matt and Tyler twice now and have requested them again for our next move in a few weeks. They do a great job, are very careful with our furnishings and are very professional. Their pricing is right in line with other companies and they have been punctual and accurate with their time estimates. The office maintains good communication via phone and email to keep you informed of anything that might arise and to remind you of the details of your upcoming move. All of these things are much appreciated at a stressful time for homeowners. I highly recommend Moving Ahead Services!

Perfectly! An excellent company to work with. We met Jeff initially at their facility to purchase the blankets. Seems to be a very well run company.

It was great. The movers were very efficient. My experience was very good. There was some confusion regarding the Angie's List coupon and they ended up charging me the full price so they sent me a refund check for the cost of the coupon because I ended up paying double at that time. Overall, the experience was good.

The two workers were punctual, personable and professional. Job got done quickly and without incident - good work!

Mike and Martine did a great job! Recommend them to anyone needing exception moving needs done. They called and came early. They were very courteous and respectful. Everything went fabulously. Careful but quick. Organized, nothing was broke.

Basically it went very well. Mark and Martin showed up when they indicated, did a quick once-over of what I had to move and said it would be no trouble getting the items into the truck. They set to work quickly, worked rapidly, and wrapped up a couple of fragile items including a glass-fronted stereo rack and an antique desk. They moved the items quickly to Columbus, getting back slightly before me, and unloaded them quickly and put them upstairs in my house, not an easy task. They also moved from upstairs to basement a heavy treadmill machine, something I'd needed done for some time and greatly appreciated. All of the move and loading and unloading was done in 2 hours, which impressed me greatly. My only minor gripe was not with the movers but with Angie's List, which did not really inform me that there was an extra charge of $120 for the truck and movers to come out to the Heath area from Columbus. This is something that should be made clearer to future customers of a deal like this. Otherwise, I was extremely satisfied.

Wonderful! Michael and Martine were fantastic. All my breakable so were wrapped and they made sure not to hit any walls on the way in or out.

Excellent - on time and finished ahead of schedule - did extra work to use up the two hours paid for with the deal.

The process went extremely smoothly from beginning to end. The providers were very professional, accommodating and prompt. Everything was done according to our expectation. They did an excellent job carrying boxes and large furniture across our front yard to a different apartment which included steps. A couple of items became a challenge but the provider was able to overcome the challenge with complete success. Then the providers went to our storage unit and brought the items back to the new apartment. This process went just as smoothly as the apartment move.

Movers were careful, polite and punctual. They also charged me the 2 hour price although we went over.

Realistically, it couldn't have gone better. How can one complain when a provider sends extra workers and equipment for no charge? Thomas and his crew could not have been more professional, respectful or FAST. These guys were jogging in and out (and seeming to enjoy it), while still taking care not to damage anything. Were a few things scratched here and there? Sure. Let's be realistic. That's going to happen. They put our minds at ease about items we were unsure about. They boxed, padded and wrapped items that we hadn't thought to. Thorough, professional and again, FAST!

Great! Cushioned tv and carefully moved everything

Matt, Justin, and Pino helped me with a move recently. These guys were terrific, and did an outstanding job moving a large entertainment center from my friend's house to mine, along with a couple of other medium-small sized furniture items. They showed up to my friend's house early, and called before they headed over there to make sure it was okay that they were early. They wrapped everything in blankets and nothing was damaged when it arrived! They also assembled the entertainment center for me, which was huge, and had quiet a few pieces and parts...and they did a great job putting it together. My friend who's house they moved the furniture from was also super impressed with these guys. They were very friendly and polite the entire time. They also didn't stray from the initial quote which was awesome. It's tough to find good movers, and these guys exceeded our expectations. I will definitely hire them in the future if I need movers again.

It went pretty good nice guys my only complaint is it was about 35 dollars over the estimate. Overal I had a good experience.

Everything went great with Moving Ahead. The estimate was spot on. All the people that performed the move were courteous and professional. Not only were they careful with our personal belongings, they also made sure to get the items in the rooms where they needed to go. I would only use this company for any moving needs in the future.
