The entire process took only about 20 minutes because they brought several strong men to do the moving. They were professional in their work. They showed up on time and did exactly what I requested. The company has a minimum charge so it was a bit expensive on a per hour basis; however, I am glad I had them do the work, and I would hire them again.

I would highly recommend this company, it was very straight forward with the pricing, which was lower than many other companies I contacted, and very efficient. These three young men were very organized, methodical in how they loaded our possessions and very, very fast! Just a true pleasure to work with!!!

Couldn't of asked for a better move! They got everything out of our apartment. Moved stuff from our storage unit which had a very heavy entertainment center and wrapped and protected all items! They arrived earlier than expected which was awesome and completed everything very timely. Thankfully we won't be moving again for a long time, but I would easily use them again! Very reasonable pricing.

They placed the mirrors on my dressers and rearranged my furniture that had been left in the wrong rooms by another moving company. They sent two guys out and they were so gracious. They were nice enough to come back and move my bed free of charge because it wasn't in a very good location to see my TV. I'm a senior citizen and I really appreciated their service. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs moving services.

One of the easiest moves I have ever done. Seriously. These guys hustled from start to finish and were very accomodating with my requests. Their attention to detail was stellar. I could not recommend them more!!!

Very well. The movers were exactly on time (9 am). They were polite and professional. They were quick considering I have a walk-up loft with crazy stairs and was moving into another apartment with stairs. Nothing was broken or damaged.

The movers were incredibly professional, very fast. They were able to fit everything into the storage unit with room to spare, and had I done it myself I'd have never been able to fit everything in. They were able to move all my furniture without a single scratch to the furniture or walls, in a 2nd floor apartment!

Moving ahead took care of our move from Chicago to Madison, WI and they did a great job! Only issue was they were late as they had reserved a truck through Hertz but when they arrived to pick up the truck, Hertz did not have the right truck (and tried to give them a smaller truck which would not have worked for us.) our move coordinator found a truck at a local UHaul so crisis was averted. They were able to move us in one day, the movers were professional, careful and very nice, as a bonus. I hope we don't have to move again too soon, but when we do I will hire Moving Ahead. I was also very happy with the cost. Under $2000. Thank you very much!

First of all this company was very professional and responsive to my calls as well as accommodating changes in the original move date. The two movers were very professional, courteous and took extra care in covering the stairs, doorways and floors at both houses as well as the items that were transported. I was very impressed with the entire process from the initial contact and scheduling to the actual move and communications with the movers and would recommend using this service for any type of move. Great, the men showed up on time. They were polite, clean, well spoken. They were very responsive to our requests and they helped us decide how to set up the space for her as well. Some pieces had to be repositioned a few times. This is our second time with Moving ahead. They moved my mom from up North in Ohio....that was a huge move. They were very professional when it came to loading the truck. Every inch of the truck was used...we met the movers to the new location in Columbus and all went well. They were also very pleasant and came to the job alert and prepared. I would definitely hire this company again.

Checked with us the day before the move. They were on time, treated the furniture like it was their own. The price was fair, and was the price quoted.

All went well except for 1 damaged door, which they deducted a small amount for, not enough to replace the door, but not unreasonable.

They charged a 'x' amount for a number of hours. They moved my daughter in less time than they had originally said it would take. They did what they were supposed to do, in the time they were supposed to.

They were just very professional, friendly, helpful.

They were very detailed oriented and very good with packing.

We were very happy with our experience with Moving Ahead Services. Thomas and his crew were on time and incredibly efficient. They were all very polite and courteous and careful with our belongings. They seemed to be having fun and enjoyed working together. We have no plans to move again anytime soon, but I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for movers.

Very well. Two workers loaded and unloaded the furniture very rapidly and caused no damage.

Unfortunately they could not get her queen size box springs and large size headboard up the stairs. Ceiling was low and the staircase had a couple of turns. Needless to say, we had to bring these two pieces back to our house. They did manage to get her mattress up the stairs because it was a little more bendable then the other two items. Dresser and clothes/shoes, some other misc. boxes were all moved in.
