Description of Work: Our second time using them. There were a couple hiccups but the best indication of the level of a company's customer service is how those bumps are handled and this company truly is devoted to exceptional customer service. Jared went above and beyond!

Description of Work: I'm very glad I hired Moving Ahead for my move. They were very professional -- well equipped with hand trucks and other equipments for an efficient move. The movers were very pleasant to work with, and very good at their jobs! I'm relieved that there is a company I know I can trust.

Description of Work: We moved houses which were about a mile apart. They moved all the big furniture and our other belongings. They were prompt for the appointment and it was easy to schedule. They did make some dings in the doorways but overall they did a great job. The price was what they originally quoted.

Description of Work: Moved large items from one house to another house in Columbus. It took about 3.5 hours with two trips and a smaller truck.

Description of Work: They helped me move twice from Ohio to New York. They have another service that I used for housecleaning.They did a really good job!

Description of Work: They arrived 10 minutes early and were very nice. Robert and Teal were great! They both said they loved moving people.. (I thought that was odd but I guess you have to do be in this business.. LOL!) They were both very professional and got my move done in plenty of time. I was very happy with them.

Description of Work: Mover's helped us move. I wish I would have purchased two of these deals though, as we went over time and for the additional cost we could have had more hours. Things we moving slow, so I jumped in and helped out by moving alot of the boxes.

Description of Work: I am writing this review because I was so impressed with Jeff Collins. My son lost everything in SuperStorm Sandy in New Jersey. Incredibly kind people in Columbus donated several items to help him get back on his feet and I called several movers to get estimates on moving the donations to New Jersey with only a week's notice. Jeff worked up an estimate to get a truck and drivers to move an uncertain amount of furniture and other donated items to New Jersey at WELL below his average price for the job, just because he was so empathetic with our situation. Other factors arose to alter our ability to actually hire him, so I can't speak to all of the factors that Angie's List likes in a report. But I would like to thank him for his kindness, professionalism and responsiveness to us in our family's time of need. I will certainly recommend him to other folks that are looking for a moving company.
