Ruth was very timely with her return call to set up an appointment. When the appointment was set, they arrived on time and began work in a timely way. The beds were edged just they way we discussed and the mulch was placed to the depth I wanted. When I came home from work that evening I was estatic to pull into my drive and see it all completed and my yard was clear of any sticks, twigs or remnence of anyone having been there and it looked fantastic. I have always done this job myself, but I will likely never do it myself again. I couldn't be happier with the job they did and I plan to ask them to come back and quote on the new landscaping I want to do to my front yard.

Everything went as planned. Even promptly replaced several bushes in the late summer that didn't make it for some reason.

I thought the price was outstanding! I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was. It did a beautiful job. It s a family-owned company and they do all of the work themselves. He does everything by hand and doesn't use machinery. He was very punctual and always came when he needed to. I never had any problems. I'm using them again in the spring and recommend him to others as well.

Luxury Landscaping was very knowledgeable and offered very good suggestions as opposed to other landscapers we have used in the past. Ruth came out, listened to our needs and offered suggestions taking into consideration our budget. She was very creative and insightful and it was a pleasure working with her. They did a beautiful job and completed our landscape plan and their prices were very competitive. They also took the time to teach us how to take care of the plants and made some suggestions on pruning and overall care. We are planning to do some additional work this year with them and look forward to that opportunity. We would highly recommend them for anyone's landscapes needs.

Ruth was timely for the initial appointment and listened to what needed to be done. When questions arose with the estimate, she made a second appointment to ensure that we would be on the same page. Thereafter, she revised the estimate several times to make sure everything was included. The work was done as scheduled in a professional and workmanship manner by Ruth, John, and Greg. They diligently worked and requested prior approval before going onto the next phase. John, a frustrated geologist, had fun placing the rocks that were found for optimal aestetic effect. Ruth, in dividing the perennials, was able to cover the entire front and side leaving no bare spots. They were also able to efficiently use leftover patio stones for the pathway. In short, they used what I had thereby conserving resources. The landscaping is a vast improvement . I can't wait until spring to see the full benefits of their hard work.

Luxury Landscapes is fantastic! We have already referred them to 3 others who have used their services based upon our experience. Ruth and her husband are the most professional and talented individuals, and their crew is the nicest and hardest working we've worked with. Ruth came over and listened to our needs, and for no cost or commitment, put together a thoughtful and stunning plan that was not generic and was really customized to us and our home. Then the execution on it was fantastic. They matched an existing sandstone wall with another one on the opposite side of the house that you would never know is brand new. We have such variety in the planting they did and the new beds they put in. Just fantastic design work and execution- and oh yeah- for all of this was BY FAR the lowest price of all our estimates! By thousands!! We are so pleased and will definitely use them in the future!

I made an appointment for an estimate to be made for the grade improvement arond the house. One of the owners came out and made a very reasonable estimate. I gave an upfront payment for part of the cost. They indicated a time frame in which the job would be finished. They came out earlier than expected and completed the job to the specs agreed upon. I've wrote a check for the rest of the cost and mailed it to them. Very nice folks.

Another fantastic experience! They worked hard and fast and cleaned up after themselves. The yard looks gorgeous! They were all very pleasant and two of the men even offered to help me unload my shopping from my minivan. Can't say enough good things about them and their work!!

As shown above, the dealings with the Pitmans was very professional. I would expect any landscaping work done by them to be very satisfactory.

Great experience. They use their lights and put everything up. Then after the 1st of the year they come back and take everything down. They own the lights.

I had been using a different landscaper for the past few years, but I was dissatisified with the quality of their work and with the prices they were charging. I checked Angie's list and read some good reviews of Luxury Landscapes, so I gave them a call. Ruth came over and met with me, and we discussed some ideas for sprucing up my yard. She gave me such a reasonable estimate that I was able to do more than I had originally planned. This is a wonderful company. I highly recommend them.

Ruth & John, did a great job as always! They always arrive on time and stay till the job is done right. We've been working with them for 3 or more years now. They did a great job of cleaning up and trimming our hedges. We had so much rain this year we had to have them back this fall. Too many things to list. This year for the first time we had them decorate outside for Christmas. They did a wonderful job, and the neighbors think so as well! We will have them do this for us every Christmas...it was so nice to not have to worry about finding the time to do this on our time. John & Ruth are the best! We highly recommend them. I am extremely impressed with Luxury Landscapes and would, without a doubt, recommend them to everyone I know! Ruth and John Pitman (the owners) were an absolute pleasure to work with from the beginning through the completion of the job. I interviewed about 4 or 5 of the top Columbus landscaping companies listed here on Angie's List and Luxury Landscapes came in at the most reasonable price for the job that needed to be done. Not only that, but Ruth was the only one that really listened to my needs and did not try to convince me take on a larger project than I needed to. She, by far, spent the most time with me going over what I wanted and educating me on the plants I had and what my options were. All the work they said would be completed was completed in the time frame that they originally gave to me. That was expected and achieved. But the Pitman's stand out because they go above and beyond expectations! My job was done in a couple stages and Ruth kept me up to date on their progress and even came out a couple times in between the stages of my project just to check on things and spray for weeds. Another example of how they went above and beyond expectations is that they found some rocks in my yard and incorporated them into our overall landscape design. Because they go above and beyond and take the time to communicate with you, you can tell that Ruth and John really care and want you to be happy customers. When the project was completed they were eager to take me around and see if it met my expectations... it did! But I am confident, just by getting to know them, that if the job had not met my expectations, they would have taken care of it. As I stated before, I recommend Luxury Landscapes to anyone looking for a landscaping company that not only meets expectations, but exceeds them, all with a personal touch.

Ruth, John and crew showed up on time as they do every spring. They do a major clean up of the leaves and our beds. They also took down two trees for us this year. We had them mulch and trim all the shrubs. We have them pull up all the weeds and spray the weeds that are too small to pull. This is a great company to do business with. They go out of they way to make sure we are happy each year. We plan to have them back later this year to decorate one of our trees for Christmas! We highly recommend Ruth & John!

Ruth and John were absolutely wonderful. We were interested in creating a playspace for our children in our backyard, in an area completely overgrown with weeds. Ruth had creative ideas for what we could do with the space, and John and his crew were professional and hardworking. The price was very reasonable, and the crew was efficient as well as pleasant with our kids. We definitely plan to use them again!

John was very quick to respond to my phone call and came out immediately to give me an estimate on the work. He and his crew worked with my schedule and completed the work in a timely manner and very efficiently. I am extremely satisfied with the work and the price and will definately call Luxury Landscapes again whenever I need work done.

I absolutely love them. We contracted again for this year. We have used them every year for four or five years now. They provide full landscaping service. First and foremost, they give the result. Things look great and it is the best they have ever looked. It includes the fullness of the lawn, color of the lawn and the distribution of flowers over the seasons. It is really the result and the look that they brought to the property that we like the best.

They were very responsive. Provided a competitive price. Made good suggestions on what lights would look good based on my budget. They were very nice and were very professional while they were performing their service. The lights look great.

They planted six, 6-foot tall trees. They were fair with their price and the quality of the work was very good. They did a good job in selecting the trees, planting them properly, and advised us on how to care for them. They also did other small things and didn't charge extra for them. It was a very pleasant interaction. They were very thorough and competent.

Ruth was very engaging as I described what I wanted to do with our landscape and very patient in answering all my questions. We hired other people before and by far they were the most professional and thorough. We did not have to ask them to come back to finish the job to our satisfaction as we had to do with others. They provided excellent service thus I have asked them to continue doing maintenance on the lawn. When they used less mulch then they estimated, they provided us with options. I appreciated that very much. Highly recommend this company.

Ruth and her crew were awesome! They were very professional and responsive to my questions. They worked hard in the 90+ degree, 95% humidity days. The wall is beautiful! They cleaned up well after themselves, raking the front lawn, backfilling the bed nice and remulching the entire front bed. We will definitely be calling them in the fall for more work in our yard.

The crew arrived shortly after their scheduled time to begin the work. They raked the front lawn well before laying down a thin layer of topsoil. They worked h****** hands and knees to get the topsoil down into the existing grass before scattering grass seed and applying a layer of Penn Mulch to assist with moisture retention. John Pittman and his crew designed and created a raised bed in part of the yard that doesn't get much sun, then transplanted several hostas and huechera into the bed from the back yard. This was not part of the original work requested; they just offered to do it since they had the proper tools and manpower. Since the initial estimate for creating a bed and reseeding the front lawn came in at a reasonable price, I had them also remove the Spruce and edge around the existing beds. The yard looks very nice and I am looking forward to having grass1

They came out and gave me an estimate which I thought was fair. The next week they came out to put up the lighting it took them about 8 hours. They were very meticulous and careful about the outdoor shrubbery and it looked beautiful when lit up at night. At one point after a storm a row of lights went out they were able to come over the next day and replace the strand of lights.
