Description of Work: Repaired a screen on a iPhone 5c. I purchased an Angie's List deal however, I did not notice that the iPhone 5c was not included in the deal so I had to pay $22 more. But he did a good job and it was done in an hour.

Description of Work: I had to iPad screens in need of repair. This is the second time I've used IGadget. This go round, I did have an issue with the touch screen on one of the fixed iPads not responding. Took it in the next day and the corrected the issue. Would definitely recommend.

Description of Work: On May 12, 2014 dropped off my Sony laptop computer to have my Windows 7 upgrade that had been sent to me from Sony installed, and they removed my Norton's anti virus and installed Web Root which they had me purchase and bring to there shop. My computer had no issues when it was dropped off. When I picked my computer up, they did not install the Window's 7 that was sent to me from Sony. They had installed their Windows 7 professional. My computer started freezing up. They did not do any back up and they had assured me My pictures would be protected, they lost over half of them. I spoke with Alex and he had me bring the computer back to them. The computer has been taken back to their shop at least a dozen times. The last time I took it back to them they removed my Web Root Virus protection and never advised me they had done this. I find out that they had went online and installed another virus protection and I get an alert the trial period is going to expire and I have to pay for $29.95 for it? I have a real problem with this as I had paid for Web Root it was recommended by Best Buy where I purchased my computer. I now have a virus protection I did not ask for instaIled in my computer and the virus protection I wanted and paid for has been removed.... My computer is still crashing as well. I called the shop tonight and spoke with Mike, he stated Alex was at lunch. I had a really hard time conversing with him as he has a accent. He said he could not locate me in their system and said he was not working on my computer for free he was very disrespectful to me. It is evident that he has no customer skills. I was not asking for a freebie. I want the work they were paid to do, made right. They had no right to remove my anti virus and should replace it. We tried to call back and speak with Alex but they kept saying he was at lunch. I will never use them again and will never recommend this business to others. I have my receipts printed out of there system and My name is on them so I have no idea why Mike would try to say I was not a customer.

According to the nice folks at iGadget Repair and Recycle, I do not require a screen repair for my iPad. They instructed me to contact Angies list to have the purchase refunded/cancelled since I am unable to use it. I would also like to pass along that the folks at iGadget Repair and Recycle were extremely friendly, professional and helpful. I offerred to pay for the diagnosis check, but they would not accept any payment. I would definitely recommend them to someone looking for an iPhone or iPad repair.

They did a fantastic job and they gave us a discount on a new case which cost $10 but it was nicely made. My wife was very pleased about the experience and her phone looks like new. I would recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: They replaced my wife's iPhone 4S's screen which was cracked. I utilized an Angie's List discount which I felt was extremely reasonable.

 + -1 moreTook the iPad in on a Saturday and was told it would be ready by Tuesday. When I picked it up, the new screen was PERFECT. The iPad works just fine and all is well. The gentleman who waited on me gave me a groupon rate even though I didn't have the groupon promotion. Very satisfied with this service provider!
Description of Work: Dropped my husband's iPad on the concrete floor in our garage and cracked the screen! Yikes! Checked Angie's List for a local vendor as I was hesitant to pack up and ship the iPad across the country someplace for repair. Found iGadget and decided to give them a try.

 + 0 moreThese guys are great. I took my iPad in, they checked it out, and gave me a pick-up date--three days. When the iPad was ready (on time!), they called to tell me that it was ready and I could pick it up any time. They did a beautiful job. They were also friendly and professional, and I appreciate that they are a designated GreenSpot business. I would definitely use them again--hopefully not for iPad repair again, but one of their other services or products. :)
