Golden Bear Carpet Cleaning

We have them come out twice a year, once to clean the most heavily-trafficked areas, the second time for a whole-house cleaning. They are very easy to work with polite, personable and professional and it's wonderful have things looking nice and clean!

Interactions were good, but they had to come back and re-do a large area. They said it was due to the type of carpet and type of cleaner, that it typically leaves stripes in the carpet, and it did. Also, the carpet was extremely wet and took several days to dry out. It looked better than before, but not as clean as I hoped.

Golden Bear Cleaning was on time and very professional. Some stubborn pet stains cleaned up very well. Drying time took longer than I expected. After drying, there was some area with "brown out". Jeff was quick to respond to my call and returned soon after to fix the problem.

Does wonderful work. Cleaned my condo and my mom's house. Will definitely have them come next time too. Will spread the word of the top quality work. Gave me my Angie's List credit too!

They do an excellent job, clean up after themselves well, and spots never come back. If there's a little coffee spill or something like that they'll come back out and get it up quickly. I'll continue using them and would highly recommend them to everyone for carpet & upholstery cleaning!

Golden Bear was the only company I called that could come out the same day to clean a fresh stain of carrot baby food. They did a great job and were able to clean a couple of other small, high-traffic areas for me and still stay within the minimum charge.

We bought the house in August and intended on having the carpet replaced. Some areas were very dirty (included the stairwell). Instead, we decided to see how it cleaned up. Two men were here for a few hours, and the finished product was great. I was thinking of replacing my throw pillows on my couches because with two young kids and two dogs they looked and smelled pretty bad. Even those look (and smell!) like new. Because of the dogs, we steam clean often, and I will be hiring this company again.

Very satisfied. The 2 gentlemen told me initially it would take about a half hour. They were here over an hour to do the job right and didn't charge any more.

Jeff is very knowledgeable, helpful, and honest. This is a family business and not a chain carpet cleaning place - just the type of place I use Angie's List to find. He came by after the carpets were dry and helped move some of my belongings back. You should know that it takes carpet a couple days to dry as their process is very moist, but thorough. Also, they don't take credit cards. I recommend them.

The company was prompt arriving on the job and quick to clean the carpets. They were able to get rid of most of the long-standing stains in the carpet. I would definitely call again.

They were very responsive, prompt and thorough. They pretreated pet stains and got most of them out. They did all furniture moving and even cleaning inside the master closet. I was very appreciative of their care in not getting any water on our hardwood (unsealed) floor, even though they had to run their hoses across the wood floor.

Excellent job! Used him before on a rug repair and cleaning. He ended cleaned my mat at the back door and didn't charge me for it.

Unfortunately I did react to something & had problems breathing in the den & when sitting on the sofa for the first week or so. Jeff's partner came & vacuumed the upholstery a week later after I called to tell them of my problems. I don't know if the vacuuming helped or if increasing the ventilation in the house helped but the problem did eventually go away. The partner claimed that the ink stain was the fault of the manufacturer using ink during construction. He was put out when I said I knew this not to be the case. It was ink that I'd probably gotten on the chair & the cleaning made it run. Jeff couldn't get it out & hoped I wouldn't see the stain he left. The partner claimed he couldn't make a judgment call on it and said he couldn't help. The stain remains. John did an excellent job on the carpets. They are very clean. He was concerned that he knew what I wanted with regard to where I wanted deoderizer and Scotch Gaurd used and made sure I got what I wanted.

I LEFT A MESSAGE AND THEY CALLED BACK LETTING ME KNOW THAT HE COULDN'T HELP ME FOR A FEW WEEKS. I APPRECIATED THE CALL BACK.

WENT WITH KOMBI TECHNICARE BECAUSE SEEMED EQUIVALENT, AND PRICE WAS BETTER FOR WHAT WE NEEDED (2 LOVESEAT COUCHES AND ONE ROOM CARPET).

WE WERE ECSTATIC OVER THE JOB THAT GOLDEN BEAR DID. OUR CARPETS WERE QUITE OLD WITH STAINS LEFT BEHIND FROM PREVIOUS OWNERS. THEY ALL CAME OUT AFTER THE STEAM CLEANING. THE METHOD OF PRICING THAT GOLDEN BEAR USES SEEMS FAR MORE REASONABLE THAN MANY OTHER COMPANIES. THEY USE A CHARGE BY THE SQUARE FOOT METHOD. THEREFORE, OUR OVERALL PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE FOR THE ROOMS THAT WERE CLEANED. THEY MADE SURE THAT ALL DRAPES WERE OUT OF THE WAY AND HELPED ME MOVE SOME OF MY HEAVIER FURNITURE ITEMS. THEY EVEN SUGGESTED SOME VACUUMING TECHNIQUES I COULD USE TO LIMIT EDGE STAINING IN THE FUTURE. I REALLY APPRECIATED THEIR FRIENDLINESS AND EFFICIENCY.

WE HAVE USED GOLDEN BEAR FOR YEARS, EVER SINCE THE DECORATOR WHO DESIGNED A SPECIAL CARPET FOR US RECOMMENDED THEM. THEY ARE UNFAILINGLY POLITE AND FRIENDLY AND DO A GREAT JOB. WE HAVE THEM CLEAN THE WHOLE HOUSE (INCLUDING SOME UNHOLSTERED PIECES) ONCE A YEAR, THEN THE MOST-TRAFFICKED AREAS A SECOND TIME EACH YEAR.
