+ -1 moreJim Guthrie is the man who only works on fuel oil furnaces. I got a referral from a local fuel oil provider. I got in contact with Jim around 8am and left a voice mail, He returned my call by 9am and was able to stop by around 1pm. He made adjustments to our fuel oil furnace and got us back up and running. He is very good and as I have found out, I could not find any HVAC companies other than Comfort Zone who work on Fuel Oil furnaces in the central Ohio area. Jim was very helpful and did not need to add any equipment, just adjustment. We have definitely noted his contact information for any future fuel oil furnace needs.
Description of Work: Our fuel oil furnace was not operating for some reason and we were having difficulty finding a company to work on this unit until now.

+ -1 moreHad smell from furnace evening prior, not sure if major concern, so we turned it off and called Jim next morning. He came sooner than I expected. Had been here before for a check-up and we were overdue. Checked temp output of furnace, all filters and parts and agreed, for oil furnaces yearly is best. Not most talkative, but I stayed with him the whole time and asked questions and he answered and was professional. I would use him again as his knowledge of oil furnaces is vast.

+ -1 moreI HAVE WORKED WITH MANY COMPANIES ON MY OIL FURNACE, BUT NEVER FOUND ANYONE QUITE LIKE JIM WITH THE COMFORT ZONE. HE HAS BEEN THE NICEST AND FAIREST PERSON THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN ANY LINE OF A SERVICE COMPANY. HE DOES NOT ONLY GO OUT OF THE WAY TO DO THE BEST FOR THE JOB, BUT HE ALSO GOES OUT OF THE WAY TO DEVELOP A FRIENDSHIP. WHENEVER HE WAS NEEDED, HE WAS THERE. THERE IS NO ONE BETTER.

+ -1 moreTECHNICIANS WAS VERY NICE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. THE PRICE SEEMED A BIT STEEP BUT IT WAS SUNDAY EVENING.
Description of Work: AFTER RECENTLY PURCHASING A HOME, WE FOUND OUT ONE COLD EVENING THAT WE RAN OUT OF OIL. STARTING AROUND 5PM ON SUNDAY EVENING, I STARTED PLACING CALLS TO ALMOST EVERY COMPANY IN THE PHONE BOOK. ABOUT 10:30PM, THE TECHNICIAN SHOWED UP AND REPLACED THE OIL FILTER AND NOZZLE, CLEANED AND FLUSHED THE FUEL PIPE AND REPLACED THE 7/16 NOZZLE LINE (ABOUT 20 MINUTES OF WORK). HE ALSO TOLD US WE NEED TO REPLACE THE DRUM THIS SPRING.

+ -1 moreHE SEEMED VERY EFFICIENT AND HE DEFINITELY KNOWS FUEL OIL SYSTEMS. IF YOU HAVE FUEL OIL, THEN COMFORT ZONE IS A GOOD COMPANY TO WORK WITH. JIM WAS DIFFICULT TO SCHEDULE IN THE WINTER. HE HAS TOO MANY ACCOUNTS AND NOT ENOUGH HELP. IF IT HAD BEEN AN EMERGENCY, I MIGHT HAVE BEEN FORCED TO BOOK SOMEONE ELSE.
Description of Work: JIM REPLACED A 40-YR OLD OIL-FIRED WATER HEATER (CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?) WITH A NEW BOCK MODEL. THE BOCK DEALER QUOTED ME OVER $1000 FOR THE HEATER ALONE, AND JIM SPENT MOST OF THE DAY INSTALLING THE NEW AND REMOVING THE OLD.
