Buckeye Specialized LLC

There are only a couple of leak detection companies that service the central Ohio area. I called the one which was referred by most plumbing companies. They were not able to fit me into their schedule for almost a month even though my water meter was constantly moving. They also showed no concern for my dilemma. I searched for other leak detection companies and finally found Buckeye Specialized. Ben, the owner, worked to fit me in much sooner . He was very prompt and professional. It took several days to find the source which included 2 days of excavation and Ben needing to cut into and crawl behind a garage wall to complete the leak discovery. Once found he attempted to fix the leak but it was deemed we needed a plumber to finish the pipe repair. Once repaired Ben returned to backfill and seal the excavated cement. He also put a temporary insulated panel to cover the hole created in the garage drywall. I couldn't have asked for a more thorough, professional and reasonable fix to my problem. I would highly recommend Buckeye Specialized.

Called for an estimate which he gave promptly, which I accepted. We scheduled a date, he showed up and started the work. He finished in a reasonable time, allowing the dirt to settle before finishing.

We thought we had a small leak and mold on the drywall in the basement. Ben was contracted to replace the drywall and install a baseboard waterproofing system. However, when the drywall was removed, we discovered that we had a significant leak which had cracked and shifted the foundation. In addition to replacing drywall and installing the baseboard waterproofing system, Ben braced all of the walls. Ben was very professional, courteous and thorough. The project was bigger than initially anticipated, but Ben stayed within the estimate he provided. He is a perfectionist with his work and the end result shows this. Without our asking, he broke out our bill so that we could use the insulation towards a tax credit. He also repaired many other items while on the job without us asking. He kept us informed throughout the entire process. I would absolutely use him again and feel comfortable recommending him to anyone with a similar problem.
