Overall, Brian and his son did a very good job. Our main complaint is that they drywalled even areas where the studs were out of whack (some could not be screwed down on one side the way they were). Luckily, we caught this before anything was taped/mudded. We unscrewed it and fixed the studs and then re-attached the drywall. The mudding was done very well and the ceiling pattern was excellent on the soffit and in the closets. Only saw a minor defect in the one closet - note that we're pretty picky as we do a lot of our construction work ourselves. The other issue is that he was supposed to glue/screw all drywall, but it ended up being a combination of gluing and screwing on large pieces but nailing in the middle of some pieces and on smaller pieces. He said that is how he had to do it, but I don't recall a different process requirement depending on the size of the piece. The mud did require some additional minor sanding prior to painting. They certainly got the majority of it. The final product looks very nice.
