Overall, worst service experience in my life. In July of 2013, Rob promised a master bathroom remodel which would take 3 weeks. Rob also promised an onsite project manager which would manage the remodel. The demo was done quickly and Rob had the new bathroom framed shortly thereafter. That would prove to be the most productive and consecutive work completed over the course of the next 5 months. Bottom line - we failed to ever see another person at our house besides him. Over the course of the 5 months, Rob averaged coming to our house a couple times a week, for a few hours visit. As you can imagine, that schedule would make it nearly impossible to make any real progress. Rob had an excuse for everything. At the beginning we really did give him the benefit of the doubt, but by the end it was just getting ridiculous. After 5 months, the bathroom still didn't have working plumbing and the tiling was incomplete. To compound things, we discovered Rob leaving our front door unlocked a few times. The delay caused a tremendous amount of inconvenience, most notably having to house out of town family in a hotel for the thanksgiving holiday. It was difficult to even fire him as he would promise to come one day and never show. We were finally able to match up with him in December, and we just told him to give us the key and never come back. While we contemplated fighting to get some of our money back, we were just so frustrated we wanted to end it and move on. We subsequently received multiple consultations by new contractors, all agreeing that it would need to be a complete re-do given the unsafe electrical and poor tiling. Please do not ever use Rob for any contracting work.

We did the demolition and he was supposed to do the remodeling work: the wiring, plumbing, drywall, sub-floor, and washer and dryer hookup. All he brought over was a couple blue boxes for outlets and then some sub-floor and that was it. He was supposed to come over so I gave him the key and then he disappeared after 20 minutes, after taking the trash can out. He said that he would return the money and the key and he hasn't responded since. UPDATE: He returned my key and refunded my money.
Description of Work: He was supposed to come out and remodel the utility bathroom.
