Work was never performed. 2 months after estimate it was excuses about how the grill company sent the wrong size. I patiently waited, understanding, sent 3 emails 2 weeks after this (now almost 2.5 months post estimate) and never got a response, sent another email asking for a response, still nothing. It’s been weeks since they have been in contact with me, refuse to provide an estimate when the work will be done, I Fired them and highly recommend you look elsewhere for someone who actually values you as a customer.

As planned. They provided a quote for the 2018 season. Already have had 2 plows. Having this locked in has been wonderful.

Took a couple of times to get a quote due to my availability and changes in the work needed. Once scheduled, the work done was what I was looking for within scope, on time, and within budget. Got it done before the storm and well before the work needed on the shed.

The gentleman that came worked very well together and had everything back in shipshape condition in two days.

I called Jo-Har Lawnscape and spoke with John before purchasing an Angie's List big deal and he informed me it would be about 2 weeks before he could come out and look. I purchased the deal on May 10th and it was for $249 for 8 hours of work. I called two more times to get them to take a look at my lawn to see what needed to be done. It is June 8th they still have not come out to survey my property, so as of now I am not on their schedule. I do not recommend them for anything.

Mark brought two inexperienced workers over 2 hours late to start the job. He left them unsupervised for almost three hours, during which time they were supposed to be enlarging a small, two block high retaining wall and breaking up/spreading dirt away from the tree within the walled area. I was very concerned about their lack of progress and approached Mark about that being almost 6 hours of my time with little to show for it. He agreed, but explained they were new and he would be using time as a "teaching session" and it would not count towards the Big Deal. He proceeded to do the work himself and built the wall quickly, showing how fast it could have been done by an experienced provider. He left again after telling them to do the additional work repositioning stepping stones and laying a small footpath in the backyard, using our sand and gravel. There were lilies within the space, which I gifted to him instead of disposing of them, so they also took out lilies and put them in their truck. When they showed me the work, the path was unusable. I contacted Mark, he came back and agreed it had to be completely redone. I again clarified that we not be charged "hours" for their incompetent work. He assured me we would not be. Mark came back a few days later and relaid the path in only a few hours. He also brought someone to till the soil away from the tree out front since his other employees had left large chunks instead of smooth dirt as originally promised. All the materials we provided were used. I was told he would have to purchase additional pea gravel since the walkway had to be redone, but was not told the cost or that he would be buying more sand. After receiving an invoice for $526.99 the first week of September, I contacted Jo-Har in writing on 9/7/16 to express my disbelief that they "spent" all of the Big Deal hours on the incompetent work performed on 8/2/16. Therefore, charging us an additional $219.48 for work performed on 8/8/16- all of which was redoing the original botched work. I explained in writing that after seeing how quickly Mark was able to do both the wall and walkway, he could have done both projects within the allotted Big Deal 8 hours himself, therefore we would not be paying for the additional labor. Also, I did not think it was fair to charge us for additional material for the walkway after being told what we had on site was sufficient. We enclosed a check for an $250 and stated in the letter that by cashing the check, they were acknowledging that our balance was paid. They cashed the check and then sent another invoice for $281.99, which includes a finance charge of $5.53. We regret ever purchasing the Big Deal and hiring Jo-Har.

They did a great job. They showed up on time and called when they were on their way to confirm. They were very careful around the flowers, took their time covering all beds and cleaned up before leaving. Good group of guys!

It went very well. We contacted each other via messages on Angie's List and arranged for them to come out to perform the service per the Angie's List Big Deal. When they came out on the appointed day, they called me to let me know my beds MIGHT be just a bit larger than expected and that they might not have enough mulch to finish the job. I told them that was fine and to do the best they could. Well, it turned out they did have enough mulch to finish the job, and that it was almost exactly the number of square feet from the deal! I wasn't home when the work was performed, but when I came back I was very pleased with the way it turned out. That's a very good deal for me not to have to mulch those beds myself!

I was not at home but hubby says they were very pleasant and prompt/ professional. I know it looked great when I got home!

Excellent presentation from two guys applying the mulch. Issue is the quality of the mulch is very sub par.....less than three months later one would not even be able to tell I had fresh mulch applied. Would not use again due to this issue.

Purchased a deal for mulch, delivery and spreading. Due to weather constraints, we needed to reschedule, but once the weather cooperated the team was out quickly and completed the work. Very happy with the interaction, price and team and plan to use them in the future!

We purchased the deal on Angie's list for $200 to spread 3 c.y. of mulch. We knew we would need more mulch than 3 c.y., but only wanted to spend around $300. The company sent us an email on Angie's list right away asking for our phone number, but then never called. After 1 week or so, I tried to call twice and had to leave a message. Several days later a person called and scheduled the appointment, and answered some questions but not all. Another person called the next day to schedule the appointment again, unaware someone had already called. This person said they would come out and give us a cost estimate, and told us a day, but then did not call us to tell us the estimate. We had to call again. Finally when the appointment came, we spoke with another gentleman who was very nice, but did not know any of the details of our previous conversations. As I had communicated with the past two callers, and the final call was with my husband, there ended up being confusion on what we wanted done and the price. In the end, we paid $295 for 4.5 c.y. when we could have paid $310 for a full 5 c.y. (which is what we wanted). I think they were too busy because of the Angie's list deal and could not communicate well with customers. For the work, there were several small flowers we marked that were covered in mulch and I had to dig out, and over time as I have planted flowers, I have noticed it was spread very unevenly. Some places are very thick - 3-4 inches and some very thin - about 1 inch. We're happy our beds our mulched, but it was not the best experience.

Didn't hear from seller in the 3 business day window of description and had a little trouble getting service provider to call the phone number we gave as the contact number. However, the rest of the service went far more smoothly. Mulch was just as described and the actual service was prompt and professional. The mulch looks great-Thank you!

The service provider, Jo-Har, was wonderful, and the service was an amazing deal! The people were very professional and punctual. They were very neat in spreading the mulch and cleaning up afterward. I was going to give them a tip, but they left before I could do it! I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Mulch was installed in our front yard. Installation was clean and professional.

We purchased a deal for 3 CY of mulch to be placed and added a fourth to complete all of the mulch beds in front of our home. They arrived first thing in the morning and the work was completed quickly and with very little mess. The crew did a great job of working around our plants and bushes and did not damage any of them. We were 100% satisfied with their work and would purchase the deal again next year if it was available.

Initial response was a bit slow but once live contact was made things proceeded quickly. We agreed on a time and date for the delivery and work. On the morning of the work, I received a call to confirm and a heads up that the workers would contact me when they were within 30-40 minutes of my home. The two young men arrived, checked in with me and walked the areas to make sure that they were putting the mulch where I wanted it. They had some mulch left and asked what other beds or areas I wanted to have addressed. The work was done quickly, professionally and with positive attitudes. They also did a nice job cleaning up before they left.

They did a great job, no issues with it. They were on time and worked the entire time. Cleaned up and then left. There were very good with the custom decorating that my kids did with rocks, not knocking them over.

This service was well worth the money. Good quality and quantity of mulch and laid in no time. I would use this service again and hope the same deal will be offered next spring.

Fantastic work! Very neat and tidy. There's a stone path between the flower beds and they didn't get one piece of mulch in the stone path! Meticulous!
