+ 1 moreThe repairman called ahead and arrived on time. He was neat, clean and very professional. Unfortunately, he could not fix it, but he clearly explained that parts were not available from the manufacturer of the fire place, and they do use "after market" parts for very good reason which he explained. I was impressed and pleased with his professionalism and attitude. I would confidently recommend this company To anyone needing this type of service. They may not be the cheapest, "But you get what you pay for".

+ 0 moreThe technician arrived on-time, thoroughly evaluated the gas fireplace, cleaned it, and started it up. He also checked it for CO leaking. Throughout his visit, he explained everything he was doing and answered all of my questions. Very knowledgeable & professional! My only ‘negative’ was the price of the service call, which was $175. There were no parts needed, and this service call lasted about 45 minutes.

I have an older wood garage door and they didn't have the right size spring in the truck, but they repaired it so that I could use it until the part came in. A few days later when the spring came in they called and we made an appointment. Again, they called when they were on their way. They came and did a very professional job. I was pleased with the work and the cost. I would use them again.

+ -1 moreGarage door was stuck open. Called first thing in the morning, and they were able to send a repair person within 30 minutes. Quickly diagnosed the problem (broken spring) and was able to do the repair on the spot. Greatly appreciative of how quickly they were able to take care of this!

+ -1 moreInstaller was on time, professional in appearance and manner, and did a great job in a timely fashion.
Description of Work: I called this company to see if they could help with a garage door opener problem. I had a Genie door opener, and replacement the main circuit board twice, and the unit stopped working again. These guys were great. I explained what I had done so far, and they called the Genie rep, who explained that the motor was bad, causing the symptom's, even though this is not explained in their troubleshooting manual. The sent a free motor and a HP rep came to install the motor. The installation was on time, and took about 20 minutes. Very happy with the service and they went out of their way to help me resolve the issue, without pushing to buy a new opener. Highly recommend them for any diagnostic help you may need.

+ -1 moreThey do good work but they are expensive. I'm actually going to have them replace my garage door as well. The garage door opener was done under warranty. The work they are going to do on my garage door is like, $800. That is probably going to be done in the next month. They were the ones who did the initial garage door installation and they had a sticker on the door. They did great. It was very quick. They treated us well, they came in, they did the work very quickly, and resolved the problem. They are a bit pricey but not on that particular service because they ended up doing it under warranty.

The necessary part was ordered and the door was back in operation within a few days. What great service! And, this is not the first time that they have been so responsive and helpful!
Description of Work: My garage door was off the track and stuck in the open position. I called the folks at Hamilton Parker in Delaware and they said they would check to see if someone could stop in later that day to see about the repair and it least get it closed.

They had someone out in less than 24 hours for no emergency fee or anything like that. I was incredibly impressed. When I call, they show up, they get the job done and they don't try to sell me anything extra.

+ -1 moreSet up to have garage door installed over the phone, they were organized and friendly. The dollar amount spent was for the installation of the new door, and the upgrade to a better door. The company took care of the warranty work in regards to the old door that was only 5 years old. They showed up on time, and installed the new door, it looks and operates great. I am as satisfied as i can be after buying a new garage door.

When I told him I needed to drive my child to school, he said he would be done in 5 more minutes. He then told me to go ahead and take my time. I was torn between staying the 5 more minutes and having my child late to school or drive my child to school. I chose to drive my child to school. The technician was very professional and customer oriented and I really appreciate that.
Description of Work: A spring broke in a Wayne Dalton garage door. Both springs were replaced at the time of repair.
