Scott and Matt were EXCELLENT to work with! They arrived on time and gave me a heads up call about 30 minutes prior to their arrival. They quickly identified the issue, gave me a quote and were done is less than an hour! I was highly satisfied with the work and price of service. I will be happy to use their services in the future if needed!

Jennifer took my phone call. Within an hour, Scott and Matt showed up, and immediately went to work. Quickly found and cleared the blockage at the inlet to the septic tank. Remedy will work for only a short time. Recommended septic tank be immediately pumped out. This contractor (Emergency Plumbing Service) does not perform septic tank pump out, but recommended a contractor that has performed well for their customers in the past. That contractor also has an 'A' rating on Angie's. Called that contractor immediately, and they'll be here tomorrow to pump out the tank. I'd driven past their work location for many years. Glad to see that they were listed on Angie's with an 'A' rating, and glad that I could keep my dollars local. Appreciate all they did. Thanks.

My sump pump quit working after a huge rain and my basement was beginning to flood. I called Emergency Plumbing at 7:30 AM on a Sunday Morning and Bryan was at my home within the hour. He did a thorough check for all the "easy" fixes and determined we had to replace the whole pump. He had everything he needed on hand, replaced the pump and then waited until the basement was pumped out to ensure the pump was working correctly. He was in and out with the problem corrected in around an hour, was very friendly and answered all of my questions. Will definitely call again if I needed!!

The technicians showed up on time, were able to complete the line transfer task quickly and even spent extra time trying to fix an upstairs spigot that got clogged from sediment when the water main was turned back on.

They came out last Thursday evening to my daughter & Son-in-law's, Sarah & Matt Malich, home in Lewis Center. A pipe in their basement ceiling had broken while they were at work so when she got home her basement was getting flooded and her ceiling was falling down. Emergency Plumbing came out quickly and fixed the pipe, then they recommended her to call ServePro who also was a great company and came out that eve to start the clean-up. My Daughter & her husband were so impressed by the Emergency Plumbing's plumber, they now have him on speed dial! They & I would always recommend them. Laurie Bjorkgren

I love this company. .Chris is knowledgeable and personable. He is like a detective trying to find the source of a leak. I have used this company twice and will continue to use them in the future.

They answered their phone at 12:30 am, gave their rates and said the tech should be on site in about an hour. Tech showed up at 1:30 knocked it out and was on the road by 2:30(with a 30 day warranty) I called 10 different companies from Angie's list all claiming to be 24 hours and only Emergency Plumping Service actually answered their phone. Still waiting to hear back from 8 of the other 9. If you are stuck in a bind with sewer water in the basement and in-laws in from out of town; you should definitely call these guys.

Chris and Brian were here to fix the problem. They are extremely courteous ,professional and punctual.

Discovered a flood in basement and found the sump pump failed. I used Angie's List to find a local provider. Since EPS was local and had good reviews on Angie's List, I decided to give them a try. The experience was very positive from the phone call to schedule a plumber to the completion of the job. They gave me an ETA of that afternoon. I was happily surprised when the plumber called me that morning and said he would be there earlier. He arrived late morning a few hours before the ETA which was great. He was extremely professional and explained things thoroughly. He seemed to have a really positive attitude as well and dare I say enjoyed his work. He installed the pump pretty quick and tested and waited to make sure it was working properly. In no time, my problem was gone. I also asked about water heaters and he gave me some good info on that subject. I think that will be my next project. Overall, this was a very positive experience. Hopefully, my next interaction will be exactly the same.

It was good. It was after hours and it was an emergency and they were able to get to me that night. It was a frozen pipe issue not something that they could really resolve but it did clear itself. They were here quickly and they were able to come that night and he helped with some other issue in our time frame. The price was reasonable for after hours call. He was a pretty professional guy.

Neil and Casey from Emergency Plumbing arrived at the stated date and time. Installed the Saniflo toilet and utility sink. It was a challenge to route the necessary piping for the vent but they did a great job. checked everything to make sure it was all functioning properly and cleaned up everything. I actually think they left the area cleaner than what they found it. A great company with super employees. I would use them again.

Smoothly and efficiently - for both the office staff who handled my questions/scheduling and the service tech.

Sadly we had a sewer pipe get clogged and it backed up into our basement. They came out quickly on a weekend evening, snaked the pipe, and then came out the next day and ran a camera through the pipe all the way to street to confirm that the problem had been dealt with. We had to have Serv-Pro come out for the clean-up (raw sewage in our basement), but Emergency Plumbing did all of the pipe related work. Excellent company and we were very pleased with their service.

They were great. They were efficient and quick to respond. I don't recall any hiccups and we haven't had any problems since.

It was $1000 and it included the water heater. It was good. This was the first time I've used them. It was from a referral from a friend. Their professionalism and service--it was all fine.

They put booties on their feet when they are in my home so they do not track in dirt. They bagged the toilets in trash bags and they cleaned up well after themselves.

I discovered the sewer backup in a ground floor bathroom at about 9 pm. We had several days of strong storms. I was referred to them and called. They were able to come out to my house that evening, even though it was late. Bryan, the worker was polite and helpful. He arrived about 10:30 pm and began the cleanout even though it continued to rain and he was working in rain and mud. The backup cleared at about 90 feet although nothing but some mud showed. He recommended that a camera view be taken if it happens again. I was very pleased and thankful that they responded so quickly as it was not something I could resolve myself. They used a heavier powered cable that I have not seen before that was very efficient. As it was necessary to go out so far I called Franklin County Sanitary Engineering as I was concerned that the problem might be in the main sewer line. Next day a worker arrived and paced out the 90 feet where he believed the problem took place and also located the main sewer line that was actually about 130 feet away. I asked what could cause such a blockage as nothing showed. Both the plumber and the Franklin County Worker thought tree roots may have been a concern. The Franklin County Worker said that the larger cable that was used probably pushed any blockage in front of it out to the main line and that was why nothing showed on the cable. I was glad for the good work and the additional information about the main sewer connection. He also recommended a camera check if it happens again.

The EPS group subcontracted the line-clearing to a company who owns a high-pressure jet. They were unable to completely clear the lines, but then told us and EPS that they WERE completely clear. Only problem was that we had seen the video as they were doing the work and the lines were NOT clear. They contradicted themselves over and over and and then left, unable to complete the work. An EPS supervisor came out and promised to review the videos for precise information, and then give me an estimate on how to complete the work......how to get the lines open. I never heard back from them but did receive a $450 bill.

This company is great. Six months ago we moved into an older house and have called them numerous times. They come out very quickly and do a great job. Very knowledgeable, prompt, and reasonably priced.

EMERGENCY is the key phrase here. On a Saturday night at about 9PM we heard and noise and discovered that it was a water pipe in the basement of our house that had sprung a leak and was squirting out water at a very rapid rate. It would fill a bucket in a few minutes and diverting it was not an option. The only option was to shut off the water to the house. Called EMERGENCY PLUMBING SERVICE and got a recording. I figured I'd never hear back from them but, as it said on the recording, within 5 minutes I got a call and 45 minutes later . . . Chris, the plumber, was here! About an hour after that, the problem was fixed! Curious, I asked the lady on the phone how much the Saturday night service was going to cost me, and she said that there was only about a $50 difference between "emergency service" and a scheduled appointment 1st thing Monday. Was I going to wait for $50 when there was no water in my house? Of course not! As it turned out, the repair cost less than what was quoted for service call + "materials flat rate fee" . . . All in all ---- I am very pleased and impressed with this company.

Besides fixing the bathroom leaky toilet also fixed another toilet that was turned off because of a leak.

Doug and Bryan came out and handled everything quickly (called on Sunday and they came out at 9:30 am Monday), including fixing the dishwasher seal that wasn't done properly by countertop company. At no extra charge! I have used this company on 3 other occasions and their level of professionalism and quality of service is unbeatable. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

My shower needed re-caulked so I attempted to do it myself. I removed all the old caulk and completely removed the glass shower surround as there was too much mold and mildew to do it in place. Well things came up almost every weekend with my kids activities and everyday things that the project got put on hold. My wife wanted the shower fixed so I decided to call in a professional plumber to get my shower back in service. I called Emergency Plumbing and spoke with Jessica who was able to get me an appointment within two days. Jessica wanted to send out Nick Rose to do the caulking job. Nick was running behind as he was still on another job and called to let me know. Nick showed up at 3:30PM and I showed him what I needed done. Nick told me that the job would take longer than he had expected and that he still had two more jobs to go to that day. He wanted to know if it would be ok if he came back first thing in the morning to start the job. He gave me the option as he stated that if I wanted it done that day, he would do it. It was totally up to me. I was ok with the next morning and Nick gave me my estimate of the job cost. The next morning, Nick and his assistant showed up at 9:30AM and got right to work. I was there in case they needed to ask me any questions, but they were on top of it. The removed as much old caulk residue and reassembled my glass shower surround. When I came up to check on them, they had the shower almost completely caulked. Overall, I am very happy with the job that they did and their professionalism. While Nick was there I asked him to check my shower drain and he did. Nick is very knowledgeable about the plumbing profession. Both of them are very nice people and very easy to talk too. I had them caulk some other areas of the shower and they did everything that I asked them to do. Nick told me if I had any problems to just give him a call in regards to the shower. I only gave a B for costs as I didn't call any other plumbers, as I have used them in the past for my gas lines and they were able to get me on their schedule within two days, so I don't have any other information to go on. I am happy with the total cost for the job and would definitely use them again for all my plumbing needs. In my opinion, Emergency Plumbing is a great company to do business with. Gary Shadley
