Dry Step Carpet Care

We employed Dry Step to clean our ducts, carpeting, and dryer vent/duct. All three were wonderful, and the price was lower than I had expected. We found them to be very conscientious, and they even went the “extra mile” - and then some! The owners, Laurie and Jim, were great. Fantastic job! I am hooked. I have cleaned my carpets myself but this cleaning was so much better. I removed the small items like end tables, but the gentleman from Dry Step moved the heavier items: couch, chairs, desk. The gentleman who did the work was so courteous, patient, and very helpful. I had so many questions, and he took the time to answer each one. I also had a room that needs the carpet replaced because of the age and stains. He took the time to run the cleaning machine over the worst stain and much to my surprise, it actually removed it. I will definitely hire this company again.

Annual deep cleaning includes Dry Step. Have used for two years and would not use anyone else. Easy to select services and schedule with on line form. Confirmation was fast for preferred date and time. Technicians are always very professional and thorough. I get all carpets, all tile, and all upholstery done each time. I have had my couch for 6 years and people ask if it is new. With two dogs Dry Step is a must!

It was great. When I called I got their machine, I didn't get a call back on a Monday after leaving a message the Thursday before but they were available the following Wednesday and sent a young guy named Alex. He did a wonderful job. I was hesitant because I didn't think a carpet cleaning company would've done dryer vents. He first approached it from the outside and set up a line through the vent to clear it. He went back in with a shop vac to vacuum everything up. He also did the same process from the inside. Since the process makes a lot of dust he went over everything with the shop vac again. He also mentioned the washer/dryer were set a little bit too back against the wall and moved them up by an inch or two. He also charged me the initial said amount. It was all good. I'm just really pleased because a lot of people are backed up to do this type of work right now and I didn't feel safe to use my dryer because of all the built up lint.

This is the only carpet cleaning company that we will use from now on! They scheduled quickly, charged a fair price and used a system that was safer for our carpets and us! Their "dry" system allowed our carpets to dry within a very short period of time and we were amazed at how new they looked! All marks and spots were gone! The tech was honest in that he probably couldn't remove some stubborn, old pet stains and so we decided to replace that carpet instead. We love that they use a safe solution, rather than chemicals to clean the carpets and the house smelled amazing when they were done. We highly recommend Dry Step!

Did an excellent job. Called and asked if he could start earlier. He was very professional and work was excellent. Used a minimum amount of liquid to clean and carpets were dry in a few hours.

As soon as I placed my order online, on a Sunday, I got a response telling me when they could show up. I had to schedule for a different day, and Laurie responded right away with a different date and time as well as all of the terms and conditions. All of the prices were quoted in advance based on my estimated room sizes. I was told when the tech would show up and the tech, A.J., showed up right on time. He was courteous, introduced himself, asked for a tour of the areas, and even explained the service to my neighbor who wants her carpets cleaned. A.J. was very professional and did an excellent job of cleaning the carpets. What I loved was that there was no hot water injected into my carpet, no harsh chemicals or chemical odors. Dry Step uses an essential oil solution to clean the carpets. This was my second time using Dry Step, and I will continue to call them every time I need my carpets cleaned. When I saw the reply that Laurie the owner wrote to my previous negative review, I contacted the company. She let me know that the company had gone through some necessary personnel changes, apologized for how we had been treated, and asked us to give them a chance to make it right. Mike the owner cleaned our carpets (with a very fair cost adjustment), and did his best to deal with a previous stain. Our carpets look great, but more importantly, the customer service was excellent. We will be happy to call them again in the future.

I cannot say enough about your process of cleaning carpet!! I absolutely will use you for all my carpet cleaning in the future! Not only did your tech get out stains that our previous cleaner never fixed (they kept coming back a week or so after he would clean them), but our carpets were completely DRY within a few hours! That was luxurious :) Before, we would have to be very careful with my mother (she uses a walker) so she didn’t slip. Our carpets would be SOAKED for at least two full days. We all hated it! Your treatment was not only very dry, but our carpets look brand new! I am not kidding! The knap is raised and puffy, & I haven’t seen my carpet look this good since it was installed. I am completely sold! I am so glad I talked to you on the phone, and signed up both my mother and I. My mother (Anne Reed) is as happy as I am. She said she will never use anyone else either. They had various wrinkles in their carpet that started showing up after the last carpet cleaner would leave (I believe it was because the water penetrated all the way thru the padding). After you did their carpets, most of those wrinkles are GONE! She can’t believe it! Mom has referred you to my niece who lives right beside us. Her name is Natalie Reed. Cleaned our heavily soiled family room, living room, stairs, upstairs hall and dining room. Great job and got out some stains the others could not. Asked them to pay attention to the edges of the light carpet that are turning dark, and a couple pet stains. They did a better job than our last cleaning company.

From my very first contact, Laurie was very responsive, accommodating,and professional. Today the men that arrived were prompt, professional, and approachable. Our carpets and sectional look amazing!!! Much better than expected. And they did everything they said they would in half they time they estimated. Cannot recommend highly enough. We will be using Dry Step again. And special thanks to Crystal for telling me about Dry Step. I would never have called had she not told me what a great experience she had.

All I can say is they did an incredible job!! We have had several businesses over the years clean the carpet in the master bedroom and it always looked like it was just permanent stains and we would have to have the carpet completely replaced. Instead I decided I would give another company one last try and all I can say is they did an INSANELY WONDERFUL job!!! The carpet almost looks like it never had been worn!!!! I will use them again!!

Very professional and carpet looked great when he was finished!!

We chose this company because of their dry reputation. Although our carpets mostly look great, our furniture bled and stained the carpet. Because this had happened before and with this company - shame on us for using them again - we asked for and used the plastic squares to protect the carpet until it was fully dry and kept them in place for far longer than the company recommended. (We have not had this problem with any of the traditional "wet" companies that we have used.) When we called the company, they said the would charge us $100 to come out and look at it. They said they had tried to address the earlier stain and there was nothing they could do We stressed that we were very flexible as to when they came out but they are unwilling to address the problem. They added that they had cleaned a few mats for free, which was nice of them, but we had not requested that courtesy .

I had worked with Dry Step in the past, and I liked the firm because of the dry process. The price was supposed to be around $300, and it would have been worth that. I scheduled again for today, and the effort blew up in my face. By the time I knew the man was here, he was pacing around his car in the driveway talking in an agitated manner on his cell phone. When he came to the door, I had hardly said a word before he started telling me that I was 1) rude 2) "in his face" 3) and disrespecting him. I and a kind lady who was here at the time tried to calm him down. We had been working for days getting ready for the job, and we needed to get it done so that we could put things back in place. He left in a huff, and I called to ask for help. Then, the owner told me to take my business elsewhere. The morals of this story are: Do take your business elsewhere. Bear in mind that the troubles other people bring to you may not be your fault, whatever you are told.

Services were provided in a very friendly manner by Jim, the owner of the company. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing and provided us with tips on what to do in case we ever had stains in the future. He even left us a bottle of their cleaning solution which he explained was a mixture of vinegar, lemon and water. Unfortunately I think what Drystep does is more sanitizing and deoderizing of carpets rather than actually deep, lasting cleaning. Their equipment seems to suggest as much since they don't use a heavy-duty vacuum and water-based solution that other vendors use to suck the dirty water from the carpet through a hose to a truck outside. Instead, he had a spray bottle and an appliance that was about the size of an upright vacuum (no hose leading to the outside). And while I appreciate the attention to service and Jim's willingness to return for a follow-up visit to reclean an area, the clean appearance just didn't last. To illustrate this, a week after our service date, we spot cleaned a small area with their cleaning solution, gently rubbing the carpet. We ended up with an approximately 12" circle of carpet that looks noticeably cleaner and brighter than the rest of the carpet. The spot is quite noticeable. Unfortunately, short of cleaning the rest of the carpet in the same manner -- getting on our hands and knees to clean one area at a time -- we will just have to live with this spot until we have the carpets cleaned again. And in spite of Drystep's friendly, customer service, I think we will use a different vendor next time.

Perfect. The best carpet cleaning company I have used. Prompt and professional. The prcess leaves the house smelling clean and the carpets much more dry than other cleaners.
