EXCELLENT!!!!!

There had been a power outage due to an ice storm. when the power was restored, our refridgerator would not cool. The lights in the fridge were working, but that was all. I did some research online and was fairly sure that the issues were caused by the electronic panel in the fridge, since prior to the power ourtage caused by the ice storm, everything had worked fine. i found the part online and saw that it was priced at about $189 plus shipping and tax.. I still wanted a professional to check everything out with the fridge, so i also checked Angie's List to see what appliance repair services were recommeneded by other members. I chose Dewitt and Sons and Daughters because they were local and had an A rating, along with very good recommendations from other members that had utilized their repair service. My husband called them on Friday morning around 8am and the repairman was able to be there by 10am, he checked out the fridge and had it fixed in 15 minutes, replacing the electroinic panel. The repairman was very knowledgeable, very courteous, and provided refridgerator repair services at a very fair price. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend this company to other people.

They came out same day; fixed everything, and were gone within 30 minutes. Very impressed! Would use them again, definitely.

What we liked most about this company's service visit is that when we asked them their opinion on new model washing machines they gave us the "scoop" on what they have found to be the "good" washers and the "bad" washers, i.e., which new washers they were having the most service calls on and how expensive those repairs were (top loading washer vs. front loader, etc.). Since we were paying them for the service call anyway and they DO NOT sell any appliances, they had no reason to not tell us the truth about which washers they thought were a good purchase or not. TSince we have linoleum flooring in our laundrey room they suggested that we put down a small rag under the washer and wring it out or change it after each load. They said in order to save us $ on the cost of a new washing machine right now, they would use that solution until the motor quit and we had to actually buy a new washer. They said if the washer still washed well, it didn't make sense to go out and buy a new one right away with this small problem.
