The provider was prompt and professional. They did a great job on the bathrooms and overall good job. Didn't get some areas such as dusting as well, though good job overall and great for the price. They had a lot to do in short time. We did ask for them to come back for a separate job on some appliances and they gave an estimate and said they would call. They did not follow up on that and no communication on future service.

They did a very good job. There was some misunderstanding and miscommunication at the very beginning when trying to set up the appointment through their online appointment generator. They rectified the situation when they got out there and they did a pretty good job. That's probably the biggest area of improvement, the communication side of things.
Description of Work: It was pretty much a top down clean. One thing they did very well were the floors, incredible. They brought out a floor polisher for my wood, they did a pretty good job with that.

Very disappointed as first cleaning was scheduled for December 1 and December 13 still not cleaned. I didn't put up Christmas decoration because waiting for deep clean of house. I will clean myself and put up decorations tomorrow.

I purchase a deal from Angie's List on Oct 12 on Oct 13, I went online and scheduled my appointment with Buckguy Cleaning LLC, I schedule an appointment for Dec 12. The appointment email confirmation stated that a deep cleaning service will be provided on Dec 12 from 11am-5 pm. I also received several email reminders in the weeks prior. On the day the service was to be provided, I received an email asking if I could change my appointment, the appointment time was incorrect, I stated I could not because I had made plans around this cleaning and rearrange our schedules so that services can be provided on that day. Buckguys cleaning LLC agreed to be at my house between 1-2 instead of 11, as stated in email confirmation, at 3:45 still no one was at my house for a deep cleaning. After calling and leaving a message, I received another email. The email explained the circumstances and that there were other cleanings BEFORE me and he did not guarantee that he would be there between 1-2 only that he will be there that day and considering the number of people before me, he would not be to my house until 9pm- YES 9pm for a 6 hour cleaning! The emails continue to explain how times are NOT guaranteed and asking me to read the disclaimer at the top of the web page. I also feel that the company and the email response were very unprofessional. He did offer a free 2 hour cleaning, but that does not make up for the fact that I rearrange my schedule and was put on the bottom on the overbooked list. BUYER BEWARE!!! I can only hope that Angie's list will refund my credit card instead of giving me a credit to use in the future. I do not recommend this cleaning service.

I stated that I would try for 1-2 but could NOT guarantee that time and made you a guarantee of the day which you didn't like I was quite honest with you and advised you that I was covering due to the loss of an employee at the last moment and was covering while also trying to hire a replacement which is no easy task but I owe that to my customers. I advised you that your cleaning would indeed take approximately 6-7 hours based on your home being 2595 sq ft and this being a deep cleaning with attention to detail and having cleaned homes that size knowing the approximate time frame required. I did tell you after a very threatening voicemail left that I could still be there that day but based on the cleanings before yours which were scheduled in the same timeframe as yours it would be approximately 9pm to which you were upset as I explained I understand your frustration and I explained to you that I am trying very hard to get everyone taken care of. You responded with emails that were threatening which again I will be happy to provide information to. I offered if the late arrival was not acceptable that I could come Saturday morning which is the very next day first thing which would make you the first customer again no positive response. I offered resolutions that I could but none were acceptable to you. Then after the final nasty message you sent I advised you that arrival times are NOT guaranteed which is on the disclaimers of our website and even sent you a screen capture of the screen. As I have limited resources and was trying to offer solutions and even communicate with you none of these were acceptable. I have details including the voicemail, emails, etc to confirm the threatening nature of your messages.

1st appointment they cancelled because they were a worker short and running behind. They apologized and offered me a free (4th) cleaning because of it, however THEY rescheduled me at a time that did not work for my schedule. I had a very difficult time getting someone to reply back to change the appointment. I left two messages and e-mailed as well over the course of a couple days before they returned my call. 2nd appointment (1st cleaning) - The appointment was at 8am, they were 45 minutes late. Cleaning done was okay, but they used multi-surface cleaner on everything even my hdtv which should NOT have cleaner sprayed on it! It had awful marks that were very hard to remove! I was very worried they had ruined the TV. In addition, mirrors were still smudged, fingerprints still on switch plates, soap scum still in shower. They cleaned a lot of square-footage, but I wish they would have cleaned more thoroughly. I figured I would have to tell them more specifically my expectations at the next session. Scheduling the 3rd appointment, they confirmed a different day/time then I asked for. When we finally confirmed a mutual time, they cancelled on me because someone was out sick with bronchitis. Scheduling the 4th appointment, again they confirmed a different day/time then I had previously scheduled - we had to work out a mutual time that would work for both schedules. 4th appointment (2nd cleaning) - I asked them to pay attention to detail, to clean things that I would not get to: blinds, windows, grout, kid potty, etc. However the basics were not even cleaned thoroughly: toothpaste crud was still in the sink, mirrors were streaky, faucets had dirt around edges. I told them to dry dust because of the tv issue previously, but dust was left in corners and things were put back in disarray. Overall the attention to detail was not there! 5th appointment - I needed to reschedule 6th appointment - AGAIN their automatic e-mailing system just sends out a random scheduled time that I did not request, so we had to work out yet another rescheduling. This is at least the 4th time I had to reschedule because their system was either wrong or just rescheduled a time without consulting me. 7th appointment (3rd cleaning) - They were an hour late to the appointment. The new person on their team as very kind and courteous. They cleaned for only 1.5 hours and then left even though the session was for 2 hours. I went out to their car to ask them to clean kitchen floor again (There were still crumbs, jelly, hair etc on the floor) He came back to "redo" the floor. When he left I looked again and found much of the same mess. They do not mop the floor or scrub it on hands and knees. They use a Shark tool that did not get my vinyl floors clean! In addition to the kitchen floor, the kitchen window was still full of finger prints and scum, the bathroom floor still had a lot of hair, my furniture was still dusty, fingerprints were still on the light switch plates - these are all items that are on their basic cleaning list. I am a person who "cleans" for the cleaners too. I make my house as neat as possible to make their job super easy. This is another reason it is not worth the headache. I take the time to move all the clutter and they cannot even clean the basic crud from my house! There is very little to clean or dust around after I have relocated most of our junk. I have kids, but no pets so the job really can't be too hard, can it? Although I am eligible another cleaning, it has not been worth the headache dealing with them. They seem to be decent and kind men, but their lack of attention to detail does not make them good cleaners. Also their new scheduling system has some major issues that need to be dealt with!

First off I am confused if we did so poorly by you why did you have us return 5 times which is the 3 times for the voucher's you purchased which was a 3 pack of 2 hour cleanings with 2 cleaners from Amazon Local and 2 courtesy cleanings for inconvenience for needing to reschedule for illness. Also if we were so poor why didn't you obtain a refund from Amazon Local which is in your rights that you agreed to when you purchased the vouchers. Next to your first appointment I would like to point out which you didn't that you were not present for the first cleaning your husband was. Next I would like to notate that when we arrived late which I do apologize and we did apologize for we were still within our guidelines and disclaimers which are on the website that you went to for scheduling www.buckguyllc.com which state the following at the top, "We value your time and will make every effort to arrive as close to your scheduled time as possible.". Our late arrival was due to an accident on the freeway which is beyond our control, but as I stated I do apologize for the late arrival. Upon arrival we inquired from your husband what the priorities were and he stated the upstairs bathroom and downstairs half bath and Kitchen. Upon completion we asked your husband to inspect and he said that it looked great! Seeing as we still had time left we asked your husband if there were any other areas he would like done he had us tidy the living room, which we did. Again we asked for his input and he said it looked great. I am the one whom cleaned your television speaking of and would like to notate that anyone whose had a HDTV and small children know that fingerprints are inevitable which your television did have. I did NOT use any spay cleaners but a soft towel (not a paper towel) to wipe some of the fingerprints and dust off of the television. Everyone who has ever wiped fingerprints off of glass or plastic knows that fingerprints have oils which is the residue that you claim from a cleaning agent that was not used. So in short there was no cleaner used on the television just oils from fingerprints. I did not hear from you after that cleaning other than to schedule your next. I bring this up because also on the disclaimer screen there is a disclaimer that states to contact us if you are not satisfied within 24 hours and we will offer a redo. As far as the next two appointment schedules you wanted a special time and emailed requesting it which was not available but we made accommodations for your schedule. After the next 3 appointments we never heard anything again ample opportunity to have us correct or obtain a refund. After this last appointment we did indeed send our new person in to address an issue with the kitchen floor which we were absolutely happy to do. As far as the hour and a half time that is correct which actually means you got 10 minutes additional. How do I get to that? You have received an email which we have documentation to and it informs you that your voucher which is 2 cleaners for 2 hours OR 4 man hours is adjusted due to one hour and 20 minutes which equals with 3 cleaners to 4 man hours hence the benefit of the 10 minutes. What is most concerning is that if you were so dissatisfied why didn't you contact us before this to allow us the benefit of correcting your concerns or allowing you to obtain a refund rather than continue with your dissatisfaction. We were obviously not a good fit for you unlike with the majority of our customer's and obviously this could have been corrected with you communicating to us what your concerns were all along. We have documented everything including all contact and will provide to Angie's list upon request as this review is ill deserved since we weren't given opportunity to correct. It should also be notated that you DO NOT have any additional cleanings due which you claimed in your email to us and on this review as you've had 5 cleanings for a 3 cleaning voucher (2 cleanings on us due to inconvenience for needing to reschedule for illness, which again is not within control but knowing you have young children and not wanting to spread any illness a good business decision and I stand behind it and also gave you good customer service by giving time on us for inconvenience). My husband is active military and away for a few months. I have been feeling a little overwhelmed with keeping up with everything. A friend knew this and forwarded me the groupon deal. Without doing any research, I immediately purchased. (I blame the impulse on sleep deprivation). I made my first call attempt to schedule the day I bought it. After 24 hours of no response, I called again, left another message. Then did research. Apparently anyone who bought a groupon recently cannot get service. I thought I'd try for another week and now, week and a half has passed, I've left 3 messages and no call back. I will be calling groupon tomorrow.

Would promise to be at our house in an hour then never show, never call, never apologize. The only reason we even kept them on the line was because the groupon was already paid for. We are asking for a refund from groupon. this was a total fail!

Updated review: From "F" to "A" in one cleaning! Communication was much improved. I was contacted multiple times for appointment confirmations. The Craig and Troy arrived later than scheduled but they were really good at let us know ahead of time and keeping us updated of their arrival time. Once they arrived, they quickly got to work and kept at it with a lot of care, focus, attention, and good pace. THESE GUYS CAN CLEAN! I have two mor of their groupons and willl be looking forward to the next appointments. Initial review: Very poor communication Bought 3 2-hour cleaning sessions on Groupon. Left multiple voicemails to try to schedule an appointment. Calls were not returned. Got through to Leroy one day who was on his way to a job and offered to call me back later. He didn't. Tried the online scheduling page but could not find any available times until April. Texted Leroy to ask about any availabilty before April and offered specific dates. He replied that they could do any of those times. I texted back with my final choice. Still no acknowlegement or confirmation. Since other reviewers have raved about the quality of their jobs, I think they are victims of their own success and I will gladly revised this review if they end up making good on their offer.

I received a Groupon as a gift for a cleaning session with BuckGuy. I scheduled an appointment a few days before the groupon expired, and they were a no show. I contacted them, and another appointment was scheduled after the expiration date and the Groupon was honored. We were really pleased with the mother/daughter team that showed up to clean the house. We thought they did a fine job, and the daughter had an excellent rapport with our dog, and we decided to hire them on a regular basis. We scheduled appointments a few weeks out. Another no show. E-mailed and phoned BuckGuy, and waited over a week for a response. We are so disappointed in the customer service that we cancelled the rest of our appointments.

After purchasing a three visit package with Amazon Local I called and made my first appointment. However, no one showed up or called on February 10, 2014. I left several messages at the Columbus number (614) 595-8979. I got no response. After posting a review on Yelp.com someone finally called me back. A new appointment was scheduled within a few days. The lady that showed up did a poor job. Dirt left in corners of floor and she stirred up dust using her broom on the rugs in kitchen. Mopped most of the floor. Did not clean tables & chairs, switch plates, microwave, outside of appliances, windowsills, baseboards, front of cabinets and wiped down 2/3 of surface areas. My second appointment, same lady showed up with another cleaner and when I tried to show her the "Standard Cleaning" list from BuckyGuy's website, she informed me that she knew what she was doing and she left. Yes, LEFT! At this point, I give up. UPDATE: The owner called within a few hours of posting this review on March 10th. He offered to come out the next day with two other men (one in training) and make sure it was cleaned properly. Wow, did they ever! If anyone had told me that three guys could clean a house that well, I wouldn't have believed them.

I arranged with [removed member name] and was there today and with a 3 man team cleaned her home correctly and without using the voucher she had (free cleaning after the inconvenience caused by staff member). [removed member name] was very pleased. I was not given time to address the situation before the review was posted. I took care to make sure that this customer was very happy and addressed the staff member on the poor service. I hope [removed member name] will make a correction to this statement as we do strive to offer excellent service and guarantee our work is done correct.

Description of Work: Through Amazon Local, I paid for three 4-hour cleaning sessions. To schedule the first cleaning, Buck Guy was relatively unresponsive. I left several messages, mentioning that I had already paid for the services through Amazon. In my last message to them, I mentioned that I was an Angie's List member and noticed they had a relatively good rating. I think mentioning Angie's List helped motivate them to call me back, but I can't be sure. Finally a cleaning appointment was scheduled. The day of the appointment, after the scheduled time, I called them to see what was going on. That is when they told me they couldn't perform the cleaning at the scheduled time. I had already made plans to work from home that day. Fortunately they were able to come out later in the same day. Two guys came out and did an average job cleaning the house, but they only worked for 3 of the 4 hours scheduled. They said they would credit my account for the time they didn't use but did not provide anything in writing. For the past two weeks I have been trying to schedule my next appointment. I have left three messages. Buck Guy did not respond to any of these messages (the first two were very polite and professional messages, the third message I left mentioned Angie's List again and asked them to please let me know what is going on). I received no response at all. Today I called Amazon Local and told them what was going on. Within 15 minutes Amazon Local issued a refund for the whole $159. $159 for 12 hours worth of cleaning seemed like a good deal, but it is definitely not worth the headache. I also made an appointment with house cleaner who has cleaned for me in the past (they charge a fair price, and do an excellent job). Update to respond to Buck Guys comments: I did go to the online scheduling portion of your website before I left my first message. At the time your website only showed two appointments available, clear out in April, and no other appointments were available after that. I attempted to schedule an appointment with you starting in February. I checked your scheduling page again today, and now it appears that you have several appointments available in April (none in March). I am glad to see you fixed your website. Thanks for at least being honest, that you do not return calls. Also, the number you listed in your response is the number I used several times to talk with you before writing these reviews on Angie's List. I do not think that I will bother trying to call it again.

Hi (removed member name), I am very sorry to hear that you had so much trouble with the scheduling. Did you try to use the online scheduling system? I know that in the message on the voicemail that it does recommend using that media as it is immediately scheduled. We are generally out offering cleanings ourselves so it is difficult to field all of the calls and why we recommend using the online profile that we have as you would immediately know which days are open. Also, while we very much value Angie's List we respond as quickly as possible to all regardless of Angie's List or otherwise. Again I apologize for the inconvenience. Well there is nothing to provide because we paid for the service but they did not show up today. They emailed me about coming today, but never emailed or called me back if they were running late, etc. We even got the house ready for this mornings scheduled visit.
Description of Work: Nothing. We bought a Groupon for 3 cleaning sessions and they were supposed to clean our house today. They never called or showed up.
