Wouldn’t recommend.
Description of Work: Two basement window glass blocks. Owner later refused to install window wells, which were agreed upon in our estimate. This was done we believe out of spite because we requested his workers come back out same day to seal basements windows, which they refused to do the first time they were here. Next time they came out, my husband was home this time and told the guy to fix it. My husband agreed it wasn’t sealed and instructed them to fill the gaps all the way around the the windows with mortar. The gaps were big enough to stick your hand through. We could touch the red bricks that are located on the outside of our home from our basement window. The worker tried telling me it was sealed and no bugs would get in which is very misleading. On the exterior of our home, our bricks have weep holes. They’re intentionally installed to allow moisture drainage from the bricks. They’re just big enough for mice and bugs to fit through. If we had left the glass blocks unsealed in our basement, we probably would’ve had more issues. Make sure these workers seal your home properly. Thankfully for us the worker completed the sealing the second time around as instructed. However it was never explained to us that we would have to drywall around their work, repaint, etc in our basement which we are stuck with doing now. The worker informed us he was caught in the middle and that his boss should’ve explained this to us. My husband spoke to the owner, Matt, on the phone before the work was completed and it was never mentioned. They also brought the wrong window wells at time of installation which luckily I caught. The workers said they would come back this week and install metal ones but they never showed. We called Matt twice and left voicemails with no response. I sent an email asking if he was willing to do the work, and he said he would pass. Great customer service and professionalism from this company. Would not recommmend.

We found this homes owner to be vary difficult and turn down their work and out of spite they gave us a bad review. And the first time we did work for then at their last house they did not pay for their $380 two window pay apron completion job for over 90 days . And would not return my weekly call to collect payment . Please read all are other reviews over the last 17 years and note the A rating we have.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!! I HAD SEVERAL QUOTES AND THIS ONE BEAT THEM BY QUITE A BIT (EVEN CHEEPER THAN MATERIALS IF INSTALLING OURSELVES). THEY PROMPTLY SHOWED UP, SET THE GLASS AND STARTED IN ON CEMENTING THEM IN. I THINK IT WAS A LOT MORE WORK AND TIME THAN ANTICIPATED DUE TO THE ODD SHAPE OF THE WINDOWS, SO 2 OF THEM WERE THERE ALL DAY LONG (OVER 8 HOURS). THEY HAD TO LEAVE WHEN A REALLY BAD THUNDERSTORM WOULDN'T LET UP, BUT CAME BACK ON SATURDAY TO FINISH EVERYTHING UP. THEY LEFT EVERYTHING PERFECTLY CLEAN (EVEN CLEANED UP SOME DEBRIS IN THE BASEMENT FROM AN UNRELATED REPAIR!). THEY KEPT TO THE ORIGINAL QUOTE EVEN THOUGH THERE WERE OBVIOUS OVERRUNS ON EXPECTED TIME. THEY WERE AN ABSOLUTE DREAM TO WORK WITH. THANKS!

MATT (THE OWNER) WAS VERY HELPFUL AND DID SHOW UP ON TIME FOR THE INITIAL QUOTE. THE WORK WAS COMPLETED WHEN SCHEDULED. THERE WAS A CRACK TO MY BASEMENT WALL, BUT I WAS NOT SURE WHETHER THAT WAS PRIOR TO WINDOW BLOCK. I DID CALL MATT TO CHECK IT OUT. THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WITH THEM WAS THAT THE CLEAN UP IN THE BASEMENT CAUSED MY TENANTS TO COMPLAIN. THE OWNER OFFERED TO SEND HIS CREW BACK OUT, BUT THE TENANTS HAD ALREADY FINISHED CLEANING UP.
