Ziehler Lawn Care

After a few years of my husband trying to get our yard in better shape to no avail, we decided to try a pro. Ziehler treated our yard all year last year (2021) and this year (2020) it looks beautiful! We love the outcome and are very impressed by Ziehler and its customer service. We have signed with them for this year as well.

I have been using Ziehler for about a year for regular lawn treatment. They are friendly and profession and my lawn looks great

Great company, great technicians who know their business, fast, professional service with AMAZING results. Our lawn was crawling in clover, ivy, crabgrass, and other weeds and the grass itself was ragged and thin. In the course of one year, they have turned it lush, thick, weeds gone and no grubs! The services we asked for from them included regular visits for weeds (nearly $500) and included a lawn evaluation, plus 6 visits for weed killing, control & prevention, and another visit for grub control. In the fall, we were so happy with the results that we added on a $200+ visit for lawn aeration to get a jump on next spring. Almost signed up for the tree care as well. Their technicians came out, examined & sprayed, gave us a report each time they came, and were very friendly and thorough. Plus, they gave us a 10% discount if we signed up for the same services for 2016. We elected to pre[pay for all of these, which was the cheapest way to go and least hassle, but it would have been easy in either case. Their wonderful website also includes account monitoring and allows you to set up "pay-as-you-go," or monthly payments or lump sums for service, and shows you the cost comparison for each option, too, which I like. Fabulous company - recommended without reservations; we have no plans to use anyone else for our lawn care!!

We're happy with the service we received. Their fee seem to be comparable to other landscaping companies in the area. They came out when they said they would be there and they seem to be pretty friendly. They call ahead of time to make sure that we'll be at our home. They seem to be reliable and competitive in their pricing. We haven't use them for that long to truly have a good basis as to whether or not the service they're providing are truly making a significant impact in iour lawn butt we're pretty happy. There are cheaper places out there but there are also a lot more expensive places.

The technicians are very professional and conscientious about the service they provide. Great at following up with you to be sure you're satisfied with the results. Our lawn looked much better last year with their care. We will use again this year.

They have provided our lawn care service for a couple of years. They are very pleasant and knowledgeable to work with. If I am home they usually chat with me about our lawn and landscaping treatments and what is expected with this treatment.

I signed up with Ziehler because all the nicest looking lawns in my neighborhood had Ziehler signs in them this spring. I got tired of substandard service and doing it myself. I wanted someone to take the weight off me. Ziehler is not the lowest priced but the fees are reasonable and in line with other providers and not much more than the cost of materials if I do it myself. They recommended an annual aeration. Seeing the results in my neighbors' yards, I took their advice. I like their responsiveness. They always get right back to me if I call. They call in advance to let me know when the services will be performed. They have an excellent website that makes is very easy to pay with many options including a pre-pay discount. I couldn't be happier.

We have been using Ziehler to take care of our lawn, shrubs, and trees for the last two years and have everything has looked great. They have been very responsive when we had a sudden invasion of weeds in the yard, did a complete 2nd treatment, and with a tree that was looking sickly. Minor problems in the grand scheme but each call was addressed immediately and taken seriously. They have worked hard to earn and keep our business and we have really appreciated meeting guys like their certified arborist Sean and the other guys on their treatment crews. The owner Andrew also has been very responsive to question and obviously sets the customer service tone for his people. Update--so the next day Spencer, the lawn guy, shows up for the fall application and the wife would like to make sure that his hard work has been noted by name...he was the one that actually told us that we should watch for the invasion of weeds and if that happens to call him. It did, we did, he came back to attack them. Worked great. thanks Spencer.

They are very nice and professional, willing to answer questions and very patient explaining.

Our lawn greened out and filled out - looks so much better than before. Also, used their pest control service to stop an ant problem, which worked perfectly.

Everything has gone just fine. They come when they are supposed to. It has been a little hard this season because it has been rainy.

I do not remember what these two things were. I know one of the things that I asked them was quote for mowing the yard, and there was another quote. However, I only got one of them. They e-mailed it to me, and they did not come out. When I requested the other quote, they said, "I will send that tomorrow", but then it was not sent. On the other hand, I think the quote they gave was probably reasonable.

I used them through a big deal on Angie's List. They were fine. They were as good as anybody else. They did a good job while they were here. They were courteous and cleaned up well. The only thing is they didn’t get it done when I wanted them to. They were so busy. I wanted it done so that I could seed some grass. It was probably late October and it was really too late to get it done then. It was a very good price. There were no complaints about anything except the delay in getting it done. It would have been nice if I could have made the appointment to get it done prior to me paying them because I might have done it on my own. Everything was great, except the delay.

They did a fine job but I stayed with my regular service after that. I would have no complaints about them.

Sean Meier is an arborist with Ziehler's and came over to assess the damage to one of our trees in the back yard. Diagnosed the problem and told us what to buy to remidy the situation. Very professional and personable. Agreed to return in 3 weeks at no chage to see if treatment is working. Would highly recommend

When we moved into our house, a new construction home, our yard was cluttered with weeds as the new sod settled and started to grow. We initially tried to control this ourselves but it became too large of a problem for us to keep up with. We contacted several companies for estimates on lawn treatment and fertilization. We decided to go with Ziehler for several reasons. Not only was the price for each treatment a fair price compared to competitors, but they are very professional. When they came out to look at our yard, they taught us about the weeds we were having problems with and how to maintain our lawn after treatments. We've been using them for about a year and a half now and love their service! After each treatment, we get comments on how our lawn looks, what we can do to make it look better, and they inform us what they did at each treatment. When we have spots that need to be treated between visits, they are responsive to our request and come out to spot treat the area. Since they started treating our lawn, we have had very few issues with weeds. Given the low quality of soil beneath our grass, we still get occasional weeds but it's nothing like the initial problem! We are thankful for their service and commitment to quality! We enjoy working with the company and appreciate their customer service! We look forward to continue working with them and recommend them to our neighbors!

Everything went fine. They did the work when I was not home but I could see that the job was completed.
