Excellent service the next day. We were very happy with the installation and quality work.

It was just a simple repair job . They were helpful, polite and it was finished on time as promised.

I dropped the watch off on May 27, 2011.  When I had not heard anything back from them by June 6, I called to inquire.  The lady said their watch maker had been on vacation, and didn't pick up my watch until June 4.  She said she expected it to be completed by the next day, and that she would call me.  The next day came and went with no call.  Then at 3:00 PM on June 8, they called and said it was ready.  I went right to the store since it had been 12 days without my watch.  While examining it, I noticed a hammer mark on one of the links.  I pointed it out to the sales person, but she just kind of blew it off and said it wasn't that noticeable.  I then asked what the bill was.  She said $40.00, plus tax.  I almost fell over, and asked her to repeat the price.  She confirmed the price and said they have no control over what the watch maker charges.  She said it must have been pretty difficult.  I would have to agree.  12 days for a simple repair, and then charging me $40.00.  I guess the watch maker is saving up for his next vacation!  I told them I would not be coming back.  Nor will I be referring them to any of my friends.

Very bad experience.  That is why I am giving them an "F".  No estimate and it took way to long for the repair with no communication.  The quality of the repair was a "B" because of the mark I found on one of the links.  I would have thought that with the extended delay and hammer marks, they should have offered me a discount or at least an apology.

UPDATE:  After posting this, I gave them another chance to apologize and make things right.  Instead they called me a liar.  They said my brand new watch already had marks on it, and they told me it was going to be expensive and take a while to repair.  Neither is true.  Stay away from Rife Jewelers in Oakwood unless you want to get ripped off.
