Their charge was reasonable. I don't like their new system. They have a new program for buying something instead of leasing them. I just don't like it.

I don't like to go into the store. They tend to be like piranhas when you go in the door. Or they'll be like the shark and circle around you for awhile. I don't like to go in unless I have to. But I can say this about Verizon. The one that I use, I do go into the store. Both the stores and both the service I have gotten with my cell phone. The store is very good. When I go in there, they are, they tend to be more laid back there, which is good. There is not anybody rushing you when you come in the door. They are very courteous. The last time I had to go in, the young man, and I'm not sure because they have a turn over of people working there. But everybody that I have dealt with has been very knowledgeable, including telling me some things I didn't even know to do. But the bulk of it is excellent and I do mean outstanding excellent service that I have gotten, and I will never go with any other service for my phone except Verizon. I can tell you there have been instances. I was extremely ill and I was the only one that had access to my account to pay it. I called and I told the young lady I'm just too sick, too ill, it is only me and I was just coming home from getting a chemo treatment and just had forgotten all about my bill and to this day I regret not getting her name. Her exact words were, Ms. Conner, you get your rest. Should I have someone call you next week or how do you want to handle this? I said, can I have a couple of days. I have to do this so I don't give in to my chemo treatments. That young lady called me up after 3 days and asked Mrs. Conner how are you? I said, I'm still a little bit sick. She goes, well, we can discuss this at a later time. Do you want me to call you back? And she did. It took her about 2 phones calls before I could actually talk to her. My bill, they adjusted my bill. I was able to pay it. They did not charge me any late fees because of my illness. All you have to do is call Verizon up and talk to them. I always ask for the provider. They have always worked for me and I have always worked for them as a customer. I have been with them since 2004, I believe it is. I will never, ever go to anyone else. They have outstanding service. They call me at least twice a year, just call me and say, would you like to go over your bill so we can see if there is something even better that we can do for you. I have been with them with and without a contract. Whatever provides me the best for my money. I will never go with anybody else.

They are expensive, and if they can get me on a contract, I am on a two-year contract and if I get out of that contract, I have to pay about $700. They have taken some money off my bill, and they are not quite as expensive now because I am not under contract with them. Their coverage is good, and their phones work any place I go or any place I am. When I was working I would get cell phone coverage anywhere, I mean, I could be in the locker room and I could get a signal. It is reliable but it is expensive. I have always gone into their store and I have never had to wait for an appointment. I will change as soon as I find another company.
Description of Work: I use them for my cell phone and my son’s cell phone.

We've been using their service for 12 years now. The internet service works as far as I know good because one of my daughters went to home school last year and she was able to access everything she needed to access. We've had some problems on some phone services on my wife's phone where one of our daughters can't call her but others can. The thing I don't like about them is they're hooked up with the government.

Horrible, Horrible customer service. Was told phone was a great phone. Global Motorola Droid. Spent a lot of money on a phone that did not work well at all. Multiple problems. Then went back to store and even copied all the complaints about the phone I saw on Verizon.com (139 of them) ad people had the very same complaints. Poor reception,battery dies after 2-4 hours, unable to get apps, phone shuts off by itself. They sent me another phone only to my dismay it was a refurbished phone so I had someone else's headache my phone was only 3 moths old. This phone does the same things. So I am paying almost $135.00 a month for a phone that doesn't work well. This one too shuts off spontaneously, doesn't load apps or they don't work, can't access the internet at all, and to read this thing you would have to have x-ray eyes. Horrible phone horrible store. Then when I got the new used phone I took it to the store for them to fix the features and they acted like I should do it myself. No way. I wanted them to know how bad this phone was., plus I think they took out the SIM card and didn't replace it in the new phone. The Centerville Store across from the Dayton Mall was not much better. My phone died and they had o reprogram it, and it wasn't due to a low battery either. The person could hear me on the other end of phone but I could not talk to them. What has happened to Verizon. Terrible, Terrible Customer Service even when calling them on the phone to the main Verizon. I have learned a good lesson, had been with them over 15+ years. But it is obvious they do not care!

We wanted to replace the original battery in my cell phone. Purchased battery, however it did not fit the phone. Returned to the store and they argued that it DOES fit. The manager became involved and said it DOES fit. After we showed them repeatedly that it was not a good fit, they wanted to replace the back cell phone plate with a used, damaged plate from another phone. This was unacceptable to us. They sold me an extended battery that did fit at an additional cost to me. They were unfriendly and rude during the transaction. We have attempted to use this Verizon Store in the past with the same bad results of unfriendly and rudeness toward customers. We observed this rudeness with other customers in the store as well. In addition they do not answer their business phone when attempting to contact them. We will drive farther to use a different Verizon Store from now on.
Description of Work: Replaced cell phone battery.
