It was time to replace our old and dilapidated wood deck after almost 20 years of use. We received several estimates from various builders, and were very frustrated with the vague costs, suggestions, and lack of professionalism. Luckily, we found Unique Decks of Dayton. The owner, Jeff was very professional, and offered his expertise in helping us get the deck of our dreams, and within our budget. Jeff and his team are top notch craftsmen who work very hard to get the job done right. We are extremely happy with the final results of our new composite deck and railing. Jeff was helpful when selecting deck materials to ensure we got a quality product that will last for years to come. I would highly recommend Unique Decks of Dayton to all of my friends.

Jeff Fisher of Unique Decks of Dayton did an exemplary job of restoring our 30+ year old wood deck. The deck is approximately 12' x 25' and was sagging 6" along one spot due to support issues. It also had numerous places where boards were soft from decay, but considering its age it had held up remarkably well. The flooring was stripped away and new cemented posts were placed where needed. All flooring was replaced along with all other railing and trim where necessary. The steps were rebuilt and a hefty wooden gate was fabricated that exceeded our expectations. We were hoping to get the work completed before Mother's Day for a family get together and despite a busy schedule on his part he worked our job in between his others. He and his crew did their best to avoid disturbing the existing landscaping that was already sprouting all along their project. The work was completed much sooner than expected and the work site was tidy and well organized at the end of each day. The little details were especially nice, such as using a router on sharp corners, two screws on every board at every joist, reinforcing all the joists which wasn't required by code but added much more rigidity and sweeping the work site (yard) for screws with a powerful magnet. This is a man who knows his craft well and has been doing this for many years, a true craftsman and professional. We highly recommend him and his crew for all decking needs. I hired Unique Decks of Dayton to build my deck and they did a great job! They did the job ahead of schedule, and I was extremely happy with the work overall. I use my deck all the time and it is absolutely beautiful! They did such a great job that I hired them to come back to clean and seal my deck a couple of times. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to build a deck.

Installation was fast, even with additional work getting through some concrete and roots. Jeff, the owner, was super nice and worked very hard! I am very pleased with the installation and it looks great! They cleaned up after the work and the fence is solid as a rock.
