I had an excellent experience working with Doug Buerkle from Total Maintenance Services. We bought a foreclosure that needed some serious care and many trees were overgrown and had outlived their usefulness. I was quite concerned that I couldn’t afford to have them taken care of and I had a schedule to meet. I called several local tree services, including one I had done business with for years, and had a terrible time getting anyone to come out and give me an estimate. Doug was recommended by a friend of mine, and am I ever glad. Doug called me back after I left a message. He was willing to come out in the evening and take a look at what I wanted done, and also showed up when he said he would. The price he quoted was fair, and he said he could get it started in the next several days. We ended up removing 22 trees and trimming several others. Doug showed up when he said he would, brought a huge crew of hard workers, and got the job done and cleaned up in 2 days. He did some extra trimming that we asked for and didn’t even charge us for it. They did a great job cleaning up too. We were so happy with his work, that 2 days later we called him to come out and quote some other work for us. Again, he came when he said he would and gave us a fair price. I now consider Doug to be my “tree guy”! Did what he says he would do, showed up when he said he would, and gave me more than I expected for my money.
