The house and grounds look 100% better. He returned all calls, was on time, and completed the job per our agreement. I would call on again for additional work.

He showed up on time, and seemed to know what he was talking about regarding window repair and price seemed fair. His coworker, Rick ( I think) seemed really friendly as well. It all fell apart once I asked him to go outside and give me some estimates on some landscaping. I initially asked him about leveling/removing some dirt from the front of our home. He quoted anywhere from $650 to $900 depending on how much work it turned out to be. I was pretty surprised at such a high estimate for such a small area. I took him to the backyard and asked if he could grind some tree stumps....he said he didn't have a grinder, so I said that was fine and jokingly said, "I can't afford you now anyway" and before I could finish asking him any further questions, he got in his truck without saying anything and drove away. I asked his co worker what just happened and he just shrugged his shoulders and drove off shortly after. Even If I was serious about not being able to afford him (which I couldn't do all the work at once anyway) he could have at least followed up with a ,"Okay, just call when you can afford to hire me" or something to that effect. I had no issue with this gentleman or his co-worker so not sure what prompted this unprofessional behavior. **********This is an addition/update to my review*********************************** After having read his response to my review, I wish to add the following: This home was purchased 'as is' and required extensive small repairs in and out. We were simply both trying to save money for said repairs and keep with one contractor, and was the reason why I had so many questions about these repairs, and yes he was very patient. As for the comment of not being able to afford all this work, this was true, as we were trying to do a little at a time. I made a joke to lighten the situation and absolutely no disrespect was meant towards him or his company at all.

I called several times and spoke with him. After several promises to get back to me and set up a time to meet... he never followed up or called back. Others had good service, but I can't recommend him since he never called back.

Bottom line: Good job at a good price and done very quickly. I had gutter's separating from the house in a couple of sections and because they were on the 2nd story it was a bit more difficult and more than I wanted to tackle. I called Donnie on the Saturday before the Labor Day weekend. He returned my call on Labor Day and scheduled it for the next day. I couldn't be here to meet Donnie, but arranged to have his payment for him. When I got home the job was done just as I hoped - the gutter's were secured. I had gotten other estimates but Donnie's estimate was lower and he was able to do it faster than I had expected. I would definitely call him again.

It went very well, my house is built with a type of brick that has many patterned grooves in it that makes if difficult to soak in paint. Donnie did a great job maneuvering thru the patterns with a mixture of professional techniques of applying the paint thru spraying, rolling and brushing. He did a great job on preparation of the house, prior to paint, with scraping and power washing of the house. He managed to turn the dark brown trim to white with 3 coats and fulfilled all demands that was asked of him. He can really do any work given him and I've used him for many projects because I trust his work and he gets it done faster then you can change a light bulb, with professional results. I would definitely hire Donnie again for any other future house projects.

He found bird nests in the down spouts! No wonder my covered gutters had to be cleaned out.

It was very difficult to get his services scheduled. There was something said about having another type of work and this was a side job, They were there and gone in less than a half hour which seemed too fast for me.

I originally contacted Donnie on August 3rd, 2015. I provided general details of the work I was looking to have accomplished, and explained that I was on a strict timeline in order to place my home for sale. He explained that he had a full schedule, but promised to call me at the beginning of the following week to schedule a quote. By August 11th I had not heard anything from him, so I decided to call him back. I left a voicemail on the 11th, did not hear anything for over 24 hours, and decided to call him back on the 12th. After leaving a final message I received a call back. Donnie explained that he was still busy, but indicated that if I provided him detailed pictures of the work I wanted to have done he would provide a quote within 24 hours. He also stated that he was light on work the following week, so scheduling time to have the work done would not be an issue. To my own fault, I had originally thought that I could have pictures to him within 24 hours, but it ended up taking me until the 14th. With that said, he did not indicate there was an issue when I provided the information on the 14th, and I know he received it based on our communications at the time. I provided a complete breakdown of the jobs I needed, and several detailed images outlining the work required. I even provided detailed floor maps with room dimensions to remove any ambiguity. I did not hear anything back within the promised 24 hours, or even within 48 hours. It took me contacting him again on the 17th to get a response. At this point he said he was still busy and perhaps I should find a "larger company" to get my jobs done. Based on all of the positive reviews on here I really expected more. It is incredibly disappointing that he drug me along for 2 weeks with the promise of providing work only to tell me to go to someone else. I recommend you all take his advise and do just that.

Service was great. Roto-tilled, and removed English Ivy which allowed for new grass and flower beds to be install.

I initially called and left a message and he returned my call a little while later. I spoke with him about what needed done and he said he would get there when he could in between other jobs. This is for a rental house where I am out of town so it's hard for me to get there to take care of some of the items. He showed up when expected and completed the necessary repair. It is great to find someone who can take care of these tasks as the bigger companies all want to send out someone to quote first, then schedule a repair, then when they find out it's just a small job they are not interested. Time will tell how it holds up, but I would definitely use him in the future for other jobs as they arise

They were very professional, polite and worked without stopping for over 2 solid hours.

The things were good, the provider was very nice and everything was done as with had agreed and they did not charge me for more different from what we had agreed. Everything was done very nicely and we are very happy with them.

The guy was very helpful and he did the work the way it was expected to be done. The price was a good value.

The service went well. For the money, they showed up. I had hoped to be here. I asked them to give me a call so I can put the dog away, but it turned out, I was going with the dog. So, he lucked out because when he wondered into the yard there was no dog. He did it and he was gone. There were some other things I was going to ask him to do, but he was gone by the time I got here. He came out about a week after I purchased the Big Deal. The pricing was very good. He came within the time he said he would. I probably would use them again in the future.

While trying to schedule an appointment with this vendor on June 22nd, I was told to call back closer to the weekend. I did. Then I was told by vendor,"I am out of town this weekend. " Well I simply informed him that it would have been nice to know that being that my sink is inoperable at the moment and I needed it fixed, and had already cancelled another service due to it taking too long for the job to be started. He then gets snippy and sarcastic saying, "If I had known you were in such a hurry I maybe could have talked my sister in delaying her passing." I mean really??? How unprofessional! THis guy expects me to know the reason he was unable to do the job was because his sister has passed way, never did he inform me of this. I should know this why???? Needless to say I will NEVER do business with this company, person, whatever AGAIN. I am questioning doing business with Angie's List at this point. Regarding provider's response...No integrity.

We had some initial issues with scheduling and communication, but once that was squared away, Donnie was certainly focused on completing the service to my satisfaction. Thanks Donnie.

If I could get my money back I would ask for it. Superior Lawn Care & Home Improvements never set an appointment they just called last Thursday while I was eating breakfast and said they were on their way. I asked them to give me a few and they did. When Donny arrived he went on and on about trimming my trees and when I told I had an arborist he seemed disappointed. When he was on the roof with my garden hose he asked me to close the window where he was working. I walked to my bed room as fast as I could, walking with a cane. By the time I got there water was coming in the window and my blinds and curtains were soaked. I yelled for him to stop and he said he thought I had already closed the window. I?m a seventy year old woman who walks with a cane not a twenty year old sprinter. I checked my back deck and it and my patio furniture were covered with rotted leaves that had been blown from the gutter with a leaf blower. I asked them to clean off the deck which they did sort of. I should have been more specific because there were still clumps of rotten leaves on the table and chairs. Today we had the first heavy rain since they ?cleaned? my gutters. The gutters all were overflowing as though nothing had been done. I believe they did not clean the down spouts. I guess they charge another $99 to clean the down spouts. If you hire these guys be very, very, step by step specific as to what you want done including clean up after the job. If they ask to trim your trees don?t say no until the job is done that may increase the odds of getting both gutters and down spouts cleaned and you patio cleaned off after. Regarding the provider response: My downspouts do not go into the ground and your stating that they do indicates that you didn't even attempt to clear them. I did not know you were asking me to close the kitchen window which was not near where you were working; you did blow some of the mess off the back desk. Not setting an appointment and calling out of the blue to come and clean my gutters, trying to sell me up, spraying me in the face with the hose and covering my deck and patio furniture with rotted leaves does tend to make me a little testy.

He was very courteous and professional. He did a nice job cleaning the gutters. We would highly recommend this company.

Responsive and scheduled promptly! Donnie was extremely kind to speak with and I was impressed with how he managed his team (4 of them total were here). They were conscientious and went above and beyond. All limbs and gutter debris were removed. Added on some tree pruning when Donnie offered for limbs overhanging my house. I was THRILLED! Will definitely use them again in the future.

I had no planned to write a review. I had decided to walk this $99 off; however after this morning I cannot. I had issues with the the rehanging of the sliding patio door and was okay with rehanging with aluminum blind. My request for replacement of an electrical switch and outlets work was a bust. I wanted to have an occupancy sensor switch installed in my laundry room. I am not sure if the work was beyond his expertise, it was a bad switch or it was implied my original electrical work was poor. When it was all said and done, the occupancy sensor was not installed. This morning I am in my kitchen and I go to use one of three electrical outlets I had replaced only to find out two of them do not work. I checked my breaker boxes and all switches are in the on position. Lesson learned on my part hire a certified electrician to do all my electrical work.

The men were very professional, worked hard and finished in a timely fashion.

Donnie and his helper were prompt, professional and courteous. The guy who went on the roof to clean the gutters made sure my downspouts were cleared, something others have failed to do. In addition to a quote for other services, Donnie gave me advice about some things I could do myself to keep the yard looking nice.

Company was able to do all work, felled four large trees, trimmed, cleaned up, and left everything in great condition. Showed up on time, finished on time. Good work for a very good price. Would recommend them for all around handyman tasks!!
