Randy, Greg, and their team were fantastic to work with. Randy made an appointment to inspect our roof and followed up with a comprehensive review of it's condition and provided a detailed estimate. They beat a reputable local competitor by more than $1000 for very comparable quotes. Their crew arrived on time and did an extemely thorough job of tearing off our old shingles, installing the new roof and cleaning up all of the debri. I would highly recommend them for your project.

The entire process went incredibly smooth from start to finish. I received a detailed estimate for the work, gave the go ahead, and was put on the schedule for about 2-3 weeks later. As the date got closer, they called to confirm an exact day and time of the installation. The team showed up on time, took some photos of the roofing work in progress to show me, completed the roof by the end of the day, and did a very thorough job cleaning up the yard. I am extremely particular and knowledgeable so I conducted by own post installation inspection to be sure it was installed properly and as I was told it was going to be in accordance with the IKO brand shingle installation instructions and industry best practices. The Security Roofing installation team really did a great job! Everything was installed exactly as it was supposed to have been, which included the ice guard as shown in the photos they sent me, the starter shingles, shingle overhang at the rake and eave, closed but valleys, ridge vents, ridge cap shingles sealed and installed the correct direction, pipe boots, and bathroom vents. It was an extremely tight and well installed roof! They even painted the vent stacks to match the roof color. When it comes to roof installation, the devil is in the details and Security Roofing installed it exactly how it was supposed to be and how they said they were going to! (This doesn't always happen, as I've personally experienced, with other roofing contractors on my other properties) I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again!

The leak, which 2 other roofing companies had failed to fix, has been taken care of by Security Roofing.

If I could give a higher grade than A+++ I would. Every single thing about the experience was professional and excellent. I have to give special cudos to the roofers. Very hard workers, prompt, polite and excellent job. Followup by the owner was much appreciated too.

We sought seven bids from various roofing contractors. Of them all, Security Roofing provided the most detail in their estimate, leaving little to be questioned. Four of the seven bids were within a similar price range. Of those, the warranty provided by Security Roofing and also backed by IKO Shingles was the best. Before selecting a contractor, we met with the owner, Greg, and with Randy. Both men were professional and patient, not pushy at all. Randy was especially helpful when it came time to select the shingle. He climbed a ladder several times to allow my wife to see what it might look like. The result is a beautiful roof that adds elegance to our home. We also replaced the three skylights with Velux solar powered replacements. Greg came out on day two of the installation to help us with getting the controller setup. He also went into our attic to verify that one of the piped exhausts was actually connected to a fresh air damper. This effort eliminated a problem down the road. The crew worked two very long days to tear off and install the 48 squares of shingles. The yard was picked up each evening. After the work was completed, the crew made sure that the yard and landscaping was clean. One landscape tree, a Japanese Maple, was damaged during construction. Without hesitation, Greg Olsen provided a refund in the estimated amount of the tree and installation.

They haven't done it yet, but it's planned. There was no cost for the estimate. The estimate turned out good. I got them off Angie's List.

From first contact through completion of work, Security Roofing was a pleasure to work with. They were fantastic about working with my insurance company to make sure the work was done properly (to code) and that the insurance company was covering everything they should. Security Roofing completed a complete tear off, some wood replacement (only what was necessary) and all shingles replaced. This was completed in less than a day! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for your roofing job.

I called Security based on reviews from Angies List for one of 3 estimates. They came out right away and discussed the problems on the roof. Randy was very thorough on his inspection and the estimate was one of the most detailed I have ever seen. The attention to detail was the deciding factor on choosing Security, even over a company I used previously! Being as it was wind damage, I submitted a claim to insurance. Randy came out and met the adjuster and walked the roof with them to be sure what he found compared to what adjuster found. Once that was settled we scheduled the roof tear off and replacement right away. The crew showed up early and worked late the first day in very undesirable windy conditions! They returned the second day and finished up. They did forget to put ridge vent on detached garage, but this was a minor detail and does not take away the fine job they did overall. This was a very satisfying experience from start to finish and I highly recommend Greg, Randy and the crew to take care of your roof.

The estimate was lower than a competitor and the work was done promptly and professionally. Everything looks great and the area cleaned up afterwards.

I called Security Roofing after heavy rains over the weekend revealed a leak in the ceiling above our dining area. Randy Sitz came out and thoroughly assessed the area of the leak and the roof. He found a loose nail and filled the hole with roofing caulk. I don't have any knowledge about roofing. He could have told me anything and I would have believed him. He fixed the issue, told me what to watch for over the next few days and what to do if the leak reappeared. He really put my mind at ease and he didn't even charge me for the service call!

Amazing. I am a 100% satisfied customer of Security Roofing and I would like to tell you about my experience. A quick background – I have an old house with a large roof (41 Square) that experienced some wind damage. I had a large section of shingles that blew off. When the insurance company came out to assess, they quickly reviewed and said they would pay $X. I was told to go find a contractor to do the job for $X. I began my search for a roofing contractor the same way many folks do; on Angie’s List. I read the reviews of Security Roofing dating back to 2012 before picking up the phone. My first call was answered by the owner, Greg. Greg and I had a 30 minute conversation on that first call. It is important to take note that dealing directly with the owner provides significant reassurances when it comes to contractors – and I certainly felt that reassurance. That phone call lead to a face to face with Greg’s right hand man, Randy. I met with Randy and he is wonderful. Being an insurance claim, I thought everything would be pretty straightforward. Randy had a copy of the insurance company’s estimate, yet he was not satisfied. Due to the age of my house, he insisted on getting up in the attic to assess the decking. Sure enough, Randy was correct, and there was quite a bit of cedar shakes up there (which the insurance company failed to notice). Randy took his thoughts to Greg and this is where my involvement ended. I repeat - this is where my involvement ended. Greg singlehandedly dealt with the insurance company. This was a testament to Greg’s knowledge of this industry. Greg has the ability to walk the insurance companies down the halls of logic. This simple shingle job became so much more with Greg’s guidance. The result was a full re-roof: removal of 4 layers of shingles plus cedar shakes, re-decking, ice and water shield, flashing, shingles, AND new gutters and downspouts. Greg easily turned the insurance company’s estimate of $X into $X times 2 because it was the right thing to do for the house. All the while, I did nothing. The day the work began the crew arrived precisely on time. This theme continued for the duration of work. The crew was a great group of guys – polite, friendly, respectful, and darn good workers. As I mentioned, this is a 41 square roof. My lot has about 4 feet of clearance from the house to the fence on both sides as well as the front. As you can imagine, this is a tiny space for 41 square of roofing multiplied by 4 layers of debris to fall. This was a nonissue for these guys. I am not exaggerating when I say that my yard was cleaner when they left everyday than when they arrived. They did a full clean up every single day. I came home every evening to an immaculate yard. Side note - my family has a building restoration business which does significant roofing projects on large commercial buildings. Greg, Randy, and the crew were unaware – but my father parked out front sometimes during the project to watch them work and take some pictures. He carefully watched and was completely satisfied that there were no corners cut on this job. As I said, Greg was able to show logic to the insurance company in that it would be impossible to do this kind of tear off without severely damaging the gutters. This resulted in brand new gutters and downspouts for the entire house and detached garage. The contractor for the gutters was also quite pleasant. At no additional charge, he was willing to install almost 200 linear feet of gutter brushes that I provided. This took him extra time, yet he was happy to do so for me. The finished results are impressive and the house looks amazing. I urge anyone in need of a roofing contractor to call Greg at Security Roofing. If you are in need, you are in one of two boats: insurance claim or self-funded. Whichever boat, the reasons to go with Security Roofing are significant. After 24 years I needed a new roof. Security had the lowest quote and the best explanation of what I needed and why I needed it. Another company recommended an overlay and was going to charge more than $1000 more than Security. I don't have the words to describe the professionalism the sales team and the team who stripped off, replaced wood, removed and replaced the roof. Everyone knew their job and performed it flawlessly. They finished the roof in less than 1 day and were extremely thorough in cleaning up the yard and landscape before they left. If it were not for the new roof and the sign in the yard nobody would ever know they were there stripped off the roof and put down new dimensional shingles and vents. I highly recommend Security Roofing to anyone needing a new roof.

This was a wonderful experience. Starting from when we called to request a quote, they responded immediately and showed up the same day to measure, and we had the quote within a few days. Other recent contractor experiences for us have not been so timely (if we could get them to show up at all). They were very helpful going over any questions we had about the quote as well as helping us pick out colors, etc. When it came time to do the work, they said they would get it all done in one day, and they did! (I'll admit I was a bit skeptical that they could do it all that quickly). I had one major concern with a soft spot in the roof decking that they didn't replace which I didn't realize until the crew had left. When I let them know they came back right away the next day and took care of it. The crew was very conscientious of our property. They used cushions to lean their ladders against the house so they didn't damage our gutters that had been recently replaced. They cleaned up very thoroughly, and had tarps down around the house to catch debris. Super impressed with ALL aspects of this company and the work they did for us!

Randy did a thorough inspection of the roof and provided me with a detailed plan and estimate. He also accompanied the insurance adjuster in his inspection and made sure that repairs necessary to bring the roof up to current codes were included in his estimate. Security Roofing worked with the insurance company to minimize my out of pocket costs. I allowed them to put a sign up in my front yard which knocked $500 off my deductible. The workers completed the job in about 12 hours and installed proper ventilation, removed the false chimney. repaired a damaged gutter and reinstalled my gutter guards. They did a through clean up. The roof looks fantastic! I've been in the attic several times since the work was done and with the new ventilation, working up there is much more bearable.

I am so happy with the installation of my new skylights. The team installing the skylights was very thorough and took pictures where the old skylights leaked so I can get the area repaired. The installation was completed in one day and the area was cleaned up before the crew left. I would highly recommend hiring Security Roofing for any roofing issues.

It was good. They were prompt, they came when they got everything scheduled, then they had to give me the estimate and also to do the follow up to do the work that I approved the quote on, and everything was good. They cleaned up everything and everything was fine.
