I had them out to look at 3 large trees in our yard. Brian was totally knowledgeable and professional. He gave an honest assessment of our trees that basically pointed to the fact that only one of the three were worth saving due to the damage incurred by past "toppings" by other companies. We decided to concentrate on the one savable tree and got a great pruning job and air spade root repair. The guys did a great job, even cleaned up other branches and a small pile of branches that were left over from an apple tree. I will have them back to remove our other two trees soon.

The Arborist was very personable, professional, and easy to get along with. He arrived when he said he would, documented his findings, and went out of his way more than once to provide a great customer experience. We will definitely use them again.

Word around the "campfire" was this is the place to call if your trees require some TLC. We contacted Arbor Experts and they came out and gave us an estimate. Due to the recent wind storm, Arbor Experts' plate was overflowing, yet they were still able to fit us in their schedule. Will definitely use again.

I contacted Arbor Experts because we have a pear tree that is planted very close to the house and it was scraping the siding and gutter. The person that I spoke with on the phone was very pleasant and told me that the owner could be out that week. He came on the day and time as scheduled. He was very knowledgeable and professional and suggested trimming the tree away from the house about 3 feet and thinning out the tree. He also let me know that another trim in a couple of years would help the tree begin to grow away from the house so that eventually we would no longer have to trim it as frequently. He provided me with an estimate and stated that they were running about 2-3 weeks out and that they would call me when the were coming. Just about exactly three weeks later I received a call that they would be there. I was out for the day but came home to them finishing up. The person that I spoke with thoroughly explained what they did. He was also knowledgeable and professional. Besides the man that I spoke with, their was another worker there. They cleaned the area of all debris before they left. The tree looks wonderful and is no longer scraping the house and gutter area. I chose this company because they don't just trim trees, they are all experts in the field. The owner has a degree in Horticulture. They understand trees and know what is good and not good for them. I very much appreciated their promptness and professionalism. I would definitely hire them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Arbor Experts did a great job. They showed up on time, got the job done in less than half a day, cleaned up the debris, and charged a fair price. It wasn't chep, but it was a big job and their price was substanially lower than two other estimates.

We were very pleased with the entire experience. The work was done in the time-frame promised. They called a day before they started, just like they said they would. The cost was more than reasonable. (I got only two estimates. Arbor Experts was the lower, by a considerable margin.) My tree was huge, and was only about 15 feet from the front of my house, so there were plenty of opportunities for drama and misadventure. All of the workers were very cautious, taking care to rope off limbs that were close to the house or could otherwise do damage. The young men were conscientious and hard working. They wore proper safety gear. This is tough, dangerous, physical labor, and they were careful and methodical. It ended up taking three full days to complete the work, start to finish. I think they may have underestimated, a bit, the size of the undertaking. The first day, they had just two guys and no bucket truck. The second day, they came back with a bucket truck, and had four guys for much of the day, and completed the felling of the tree. The third day was clean-up and stump-grinding. The time it took was not much of a concern to me. I just wanted everything done well, and it certainly was. From original estimate to final clean-up, it was a great experience. I would not hesitate to use this company in the future, and I would certainly recommend them to friends and family.

The company owner arrived promptly at the scheduled time to give an estimate for the tree services that I needed. I was quite favorably impressed by his knowledge and professionalism, so I went ahead at that time and scheduled the three jobs that I wanted done. Each job was performed by a different technician on three different days, and each job was completed in very efficient, competent, and professional manner. I am completely satisfied with the services I received and will use Arbor Experts for any future tree work I might need.

Paul came and looked at a Pin Oak last year. It had lost half of it's leaves and we were worried we were losing it. He checked it out and recommended an IV with iron. This year the tree looks great. We've dealt with different tree "experts" and it seems there are tree cutters and tree lovers. Paul is a tree lover. He doesn't recommend any services that aren't necessary and is very professional

Paul of Arbor Experts gave us an estimate in July. We liked that either he or another arborist would be on cite when the work was done. We especially liked the 20% discount for winter work. In January the trees were thinned from the inside out and all the dead branches removed. This took the team 2 days due to weather conditions. When I arrived home as the crew was cleaning up on the end of the first day the crew took the time to answer my latest questions. Per my request they also removed a large kindling pile that never made it to my fireplace and left me a nice pile of shredded mulch for my flower beds. They did a nice clean up job on both days, even swept the deck! This is the first time I've chosen a company largely based on Angie's List and I'm glad I did!

I used Arbor Experts because of Angies List. I contacted them in the July/August timeframe and the lady said the work (removing two trees) would not happen until at the earliest, September and that the estimate guy would call and set up an appointment for an estimate. He came out and gave me an estimate in early August. I accepted the next day. The receptionist lady again said the work would not happen until September and that the guy doing the work would call me a week out. I was OK with how long it would take for them to schedule me. The problem is that when I called and asked for an update, I was told I would get a call back the next day. Only once out of five times did that happen. Granted, this was an especially busy time for all tree removal services due to a heavy storm in June/July. When they came out they were very professional and skilled. They showed up when they said and were sensitive to the home business schedule we have. I highly recommend them and will use them again if needed.

The owner arrived as promised to provide an estimate for our work. He also explained that they were backlogged 4 weeks due to storm damage work at other customer sites. They arrived as promised and I was impressed that most of the work was done by hand saws rather than using lifting equipment and chain saws. They appeared to be very knowledgeable about the proper way to prune a large tree. The work extended over several days because they were working on other jobs as well. They would work on my tree one day, clean up the debris, and then spend the next couple of days at other sites. Although I wasn't aware that they would be doing this, it wasn't a problem since this was a pruning job rather than an emergency type situation. Part way through the job, they discovered that the large limb hanging over my roof was cracked near the main trunk. They offered 2 alternatives - remove the limb or re-enforce it with cables and bracing. I elected to use cabling and braces to save the limb and protect the roof from risk of future damage. The additional cost was very reasonable. Overall, they were very professional and did an excellent job. The cost was competitive. I would definitely use them again if I need tree trimming services.

They were a little slow to give me a date to perform the service after I accepted their estimate. The day of the service they were very prompt. The crew was very considerate of our cars and our neighbor's cars also. They worked steadily all day. The trees look wonderful and should be able to stand up to winter storms without losing branches. I would definately hire them again.

We had a big tree branch come down in our yard. It was big enough that we decided to take most of it for firewood. We called Arbor Experts to remove what was left. Even though there'd been a big storm with lots of trees down, they were able to come out that same day. They cleaned up thoroughly and the price was small enough that I can't even remember it.

We have been regular customers for quite a while. If we contact them about a problem, such as a tree needing to be pruned or removed, or treated for diseases/pests, they are prompt at getting back to you to make arrangements. They contact us early every spring to find out if we wish to continue to use their lawn services, and they give you a number of options on what sort of service you would like. They are very good about calling a few days ahead of time to let you know when they will be coming to apply treatments. All in all, a nice bunch of folks to do business with!

The gentleman who made the free proposal was very personable and helpful. I enjoyed the workmen who knew what they were doing, worked well together, and were very courteous. Because of the bad ice storm in Feb. 2011, I've just hired them to come out in the next 2 weeks for $280 to remove broken limbs, cut back stubs, remove low limb of one tree that, when iced over, lay on top of power line to house, haul away brush. They will be working on 3 maple trees and a badly hit hawthorne tree.

Time will tell on the effectiveness, since there are not yet infestations in my neighborhood. Paul was timely, professional and knowledgeable. His prices were competative.
