Reliable Electric

I lost power to an assisted living memory care unit that I manage about 11pm last night. I called the 24 hour emergency line for Reliable and Ben answered. When I told him what was going on, there were no other words than absolutely in on my way to help, even though or building was almost an hour from his home. When Ben arrived he understood the delicate nature of the folks in our building and went to work immediately. After a bit Ben realized our problem couldn't be fixed by him as it was a missing leg of power through AES. I called AES and was told they would dispatch someone out. This is typically the point in which most electric companies would wish you luck and move on. Ben however stayed, met with AES to diagnose the problem, and then once the problem was resolved walked the entire building to ensure everything was safe and working correctly. Almost forgot that this was now 3AM in the morning. Ben, thank you for going above and beyond to ensure our residents were safe, you are one of a kind!

Rarely do companies actually follow through with a real service recovery process for issues that come up unexpectedly along the way -- but this team really has done an incredible job in accepting the responsibility for an error and taking the necessary time and resources to assess the situation fully and then respond in a very appropriate manner. Mistakes absolutely happen in any industry, it's the people that then have to respond to them that make or break the relationship in any recovery process, and this team has absolutely proven how great they are at recovery and how true they are to their word to the customer. These are good people and they deserve the recognition they get for the good work they provide.

Our service technician Paul Anthem was exceptional. He was professional, respective and personable. Cody, the technician, quickly changed out the defective photo cell on my yard pole lantern and he went the extra mile to help me. He was personable, courteous, and knowledgeable. This work was to replace a defective photo cell that was under their warranty. I cannot say enough nice things about Reliable Electric!

Prompt and excellent service. Paul the technician was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. He diagnosed the problem right away and took care of it in a timely manner. In addition, he explained everything in clear and concise terms that I could easily understand.

Jordan arrived on time and was a very pleasant person to talk to. He understood exactly what need to be done and kept me informed of what options I had available to me during the installation process. He cleaned up after the installation was done.

The new chandelier was very intricate and tedious to hang. Woody and Elgin worked all day installing it with Jordan stopping by at the end to help out. They are hardworking and did an excellent job. We are very pleased with the results. The entire process with Reliable Electric went smoothly and I would definitely recommend and hire them again in the future.

It was a same day service call the guys showed up earlier than expected which was great. Sean & Woody did a great job that was done quickly and efficiently. I was extremely happy with there performance. I would recommend them to anyone.

It was pretty good. They had to go an extra step because the first guy Jordan told me I had to buy the security light and then they would install them but I had no idea about the lights so he went and purchased all of the lights for me. I called to make sure they had the lights that were purchased and it they were there. I had asked for Jordan to come back to my home and he ended up doing a another job in another city and I could not get him back so I was a little disappointed but my job was completed by someone else and on the day that was promised to me.

Very well. It was an extremely labor intensive repair and they did an excellent job. They were punctual, very pleasant and knowledgeable workers. I will use them in the future for any electrical requirements and I definitely recommend Reliable Electric to others.

We were pleased. They were polite. I had some questions on the billing and the owner worked with us too. The bill wasn't itemized, but they worked on that. We also had it inspected as it was electrical and they passed inspection. I didn’t compare their price that much. Their responsiveness was excellent. They were very easy to work with. They were good about answering questions.

They did a great job. Very professional and customer service friendly. They arrived on time and finished at the estimated time. When the estimator arrived and inspected our electrical service, he noted several things. He commented that a couple of our 30+ year old circuits were known to have overheating problems and had caused home fires. He suggested I Google the brand of circuit breaker and investigate the problem. He also commented that the electrical cable outside the house was worn and moisture was getting into the wires - commented that it wouldn't pass inspection when it came time to sell our house. He gave me a 3 part estimate - 1 for the patio outlet, a second to replace the electrical cable going from the dp&l line to our circuit breaker box and the third estimate to replace the box and circuit breakers. Total cost was about $2500. Two electricians showed up on schedule and on time. There were no surprises. One of the electricians showed me the electrical wires going into the circuit breakers mentioned above. The plastic coating on the wires had melted for about 6 inches above the breakers. We were glad the estimator had pointed out the issue. I was very satisfied with their work. The only negative comment I heard was from the DP&L inspector who said that the 'header box' outside the house needed to be 6 inches higher so it was above the point where the DP&L wires attached to the house.

I called Reliable Electric to set up an appointment for a free estimate to add electricity to my Greenhouse. Also, the price included a new fan to be added in our bedroom and to replace an outside electric plug outlet. Ben came out within a short period of time to look at what was needed. Within a few days, I was sent a proposal via E-mail. I called and spoke to Ben asking him a few questions. He answered my questions and I was satisfied enough to hire the company. The date was set for Friday but I received a call (on Tuesday) asking if they could come the next day due to a cancellation. Woody and Jake came out the next day. That morning, I received a call letting me know what time they would be here. They were very nice to work with and they knew what they were doing...their work was excellent! They were prompt and very professional. Although they did not have a timer or jelly jar to complete the job, I am still able to work around the "missing" items until someone comes back to complete the job. I was not asked to pay "any" money because the job was not complete. I would, without a doubt use the company again. I hope this helps you in your quest for a reputable company for any of your electrical needs.

Both Woody and Jake were unfailingly punctual, reliable, professional, clean and courteous. The work was excellent and their attitude made the experience actually pleasant. We would be happy to have Reliable do work for us at any time.

Excellent job and fast too! Came within a hour of same day request was made. Had to completely.rewire with additional outlets added. Discusssed procedures as he was doing it so I understood what was being done. Quick and efficient. Would certainly use again.

We got blessed with just an outstanding performance and work. He was very friendly, very professional, took time to tell us what was what. He cleaned up all of his work. It was totally worth every minute of it. We don't regret one penny that we've spent because he was so efficient. He knew what he was doing but if had a question for him, he stopped and took his time and answered us and just gave us a very good feeling like he wasn't being detained. We were just very, very happy.

Part of the electricity went off in our house during the recent extreme cold weather. I called another company, McAfee, and they gave us the name of Reliable Electric because McAfee was too booked up to come. When I called and told Reliable that part of our electricity went off, they suggested that I first call DP&L because it sounded like something they could fix and we wouldn't be charged. DP&L came withing two hours and then told us that they would do a temporary fix, but we would have to have someone else do the work, because it was not their responsibility. Reliable Electric came two days later to give an estimate and then scheduled a time to come back to replace the meter. They fixed it and the price was what they said it would be. All the workers, including the office staff were very friendly and professional.

The electricians were very honest, I would have hired them but there est. was higher than the company I hired to do the work. I would call them again for estimates.
