Merry Maids of Dayton

I felt the need to express my unpleasant experienced with this Merry Maids Owner. I called Angie's List for housecleaning my home. I set appointment for today Wednesday 8-18-16. She had been here over a year ago and gave me estimate and I decided not use them. She was here to day and told me a starting price without my asking. I felt she was very cold and very rude. She did not even look through my home. I could not use this company. I won't use any company that is very cold and rude. The starting price was very high to begin with. I WOULD NEVER USE THEM !

They were efficient and they tried bit two persons came but they were both together in the same room and not all over the place and I could not see what they were doing.

We take great effort to have all clutter gone for easier cleaning. However, some times the toilets have rings before next cleaning and some surfaces are not always clean. A couple times we experienced a complication with the established cleanings times. For the service price, paid and seeing that they have a A rating on BBB, I didn't feel there should be any disappointments.

I have them come every other week and they do a good job. They are pretty expensive especially with the initial cleaning. They charge $300 for the initial cleaning and then every time you call them it is $120. I will use them again in the future.

It was a pleasant experience. Nice people--good work.

I ran out of time before a party and needed help cleaning. Merry Maids came to the rescue, did a great job and relieved a lot of stress! Though expensive, I would definately use them again for special occassion cleaning.

The experience was excellent. They were thorough and punctual. They were reasonably priced. I have not used another service so I have no idea. They were very professional. They were thorough in their cleaning. They had friendly staff. They always had two people. They were excellent and thorough in their cleaning. They were detailed in their cleaning. I have had them two different times and it was two different crews though both the times. The last one was very good. We never got the same crew of two people. Two people always came. The last crew I had was excellent. I would probably ask for them again if I remember their names. I definitely would use their services again in the future.

I hired Merry Maids about 1 1/2 years ago based on the company's reputation and reviews on Angie's List. They clean my house on average of twice per month. Most of the time they do an excellent job. All their crews do at least a satisfactory job, but the team that does my house most often has great attention to detail and I prefer it when that team comes. I have them come when I am home, because although they are bonded and insured, my husband and I feel more comfortable having someone here with them. They are all quite professional and I do not feel the need to supervise them while they work; I usually just let them in and stay out of the way. They do sometimes run behind schedule, but they almost always call if they will not be arriving at the previously estimated time. This company is a bit pricier than individual housekeepers I have hired in the past. Overall, I have been very pleased with them, which is why I keep having them come back. It is such a time-saver for me to have someone else do all the routine cleaning for us.

My experience with them turned out to be good. I have never used maids before. They were on time and they did what was asked. They were pleasant. They were three of them who moved through the house and in two hours they were done. The house was clean. They brought all the supplies.

Very well. A few minutes late, but got right down to work once they arrived. They asked questions about what needed to be done (to confirm the information from the estimate/walk-through). Even minor things that I would point out were immediately taken care of. Very nice, very personable and responsive personnel. They clearly wanted to make sure I was satisfied with their work. This was a BIG job, and they rose to the task. My house shone!!

Finding quality people to clean your home is exhausting, but we found Merry Maids and we are glad we did. So far they are doing a great job. They don't mind making the bed the way I want and do it very well. My little dog even enjoys their visit because he is spoiled from the affection when they leave. Thank you for making my home spotless.

The ladies were nice, there were three of them and we were told two were coming. The completed the job in two hours. The floors (kitchen and bathrooms) were not done well, as well as the kitchen rugs were not swept. The cleaning was basic and I typically do a better job on my own. My house is not very big and I keep it very well maintained. I was very disappointed in the work, especially for the price we paid. That was for one visit! My husband called and complained, they only offered to add baseboards the next time they came and it would still be the same price. When my husband first met with them prior to the cleaning, they indicated this would be a monthly charge; coming every other week. I would not recommend this particular housecleaning service to anyone. We are currently looking for other services. I was so excited to have this service. It was a Christmas gift from my husband to lighten my load with two children and one on the way in about 6 weeks! Very disappointing!

THEY ARE TRUSTWORTHY AND POLITE. I WOULDN'T HESITATE TO TELL MY FRIEND ABOUT THEM. I THINK THEIR PRICES ARE FAIR. THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL AND SHOW UP ON TIME. IF I WANT SOMETHING EXTRA DONE THEY WILL DO IT FOR ME.
