Description of Work: New heat pump, they were very professional and easy to work with.

Description of Work: After consultation with them because my furnace was dying, I had them install my new furnace. During a tough time because of my finances and the weather, they were able to find me a no interest 18 month loan. They men who did the work were fast and efficient.

Description of Work: Had them out to clean our ducts due to our family's allergies acting up. They came, put on booties, cleaned the ducts well, left no trace, and left. They came on time and did a professional job.

Description of Work: We were not members of Angi's List at the time. We replaced our furnace and air conditioner .the service men were knowledgeable and very capable. I feel they did a very good job. I am not altogether thrilled with the furnace they sold me,however. It does not seem to heat the house as well as our old one did (before it went out). I am told by people that this happens with the more energy efficient furnaces. I guess not much canbe done about it. I don't think this is the fault of Mcafee' Heating technicians.

Description of Work: Our gas furnace stopped working on the evening of 2/8/11--with the projected nighttime temperature dropping into the single digits. I called McAfee for several reasons: the company's great reputation, Mr. McAfee's active commitment to conservative values [e.g., active Tea Party participation], and his former service to America as a Marine. [As a retired USAF guy, I'm proud to support veteran-owned businesses.] I called them about 6:30 PM; and the McAfee technician arrived within the hour [and called ahead to let us know he was on his way]. He quickly found the problem [our furnace filters were severely clogged--lesson learned by me], rectified it, cleaned the rest of the furnace area, and checked the furnace input/output to make sure it was safe and within the manufacturer's parameters. He kept the work area clean and tidy--and was in and out in less than an hour. The service call was reasonable--less than $85.00 We were very pleased with the technician's professionalism and friendly attitude. I even called the company the following day and requested him as our designated technician to follow-up with us as a member of McAfee's Comfort Club program--to provide routine equipment maintenance/inspections in the future--or any other major work on our HVAC systems. We're very satisfied customers.
