McAfee Heating & Air Conditioning

Did not actually use this company due to the fact that the estimate was nearly double another company.

Everything checked out ok however 2 weeks later the A C went out andthey were out the next day to solve the problem.

I called to schedule a free estimate to get a whole new HVAC system put into my house. The rep scheduled an appointment for July 10th between 1-3. I was told that I would get a phone call the day before the visit to reconfirm the appointment but never did. on July 10th I called back around 12:45 to confirm if they were coming or not. They said they had no record in the books for a visit. I then was offered a reschedule which I started the process. The rep asked me for the number of quotes I was getting. I told them that I would not share that information because I didn't feel that it mattered. They told me that It mattered to them because, and I quote from an email from the owner, and quot; but it does matter to us how many estimates a potential customer is getting for many reasons, but main reason is to qualify a McAfee customer.and quot; Really?!?! I would not recommend to use McAfee air. After sending an email to Greg about this, I quickly got a response back from him saying they had a record of me calling. He offered to send someone out today and $100 off if we chose to go with them. After this I say no thank you!

Be sure that you know of all of their hidden charges.

McAfee responded on a Saturday within 2 hours of calling them. The representative did a thorough inspection of the existing system and gave us options to choose from. We made our choice and the appointment for installation was made. They arrived at the exact time agreed upon and immediately went to work. The technicians were professional and courteous. The whole installation took approximately 7 hours. They used carpeting covers and always wore shoe protectors while in the house. There was absolutely no mess left when they were done. I might add that it was raining the day of installation and they still managed to keep everything nice and clean. We also had an attic fan installed. A week later we had the duct work cleaned. The entire process went very smoothly and we are extremely pleased.

This was a fantastic experience. We were so pleased with all the work we signed up for a maintenance contract on our furnace and air conditioner. We will only use McAfee Heating and Air for any future needs!

Two work crews arrived on time and ready to work. They were polite and professional. They worked a solid 9+ hours and got both hybrid heat pump systems installed and working perfectly. They were neat and left my house cleaner then they found it.

It went just fine. I pay $15 a month.

They didn't install the furnace and the air conditioning unit but they have come out to do the repairs. They were much better priced than everybody else. They came out the very next day and offered their comfort club services. I signed up for that for a month to see how it works. They have done inspections too. I have been able to knock down a large portion of my repair bill down by signing up with them which has been impressive. They come out and tell me the finance and air conditioning unit is fine or if there have been having any issues. Once they did some repairs at no additional costs so I was very happy with their services. When they entered the house they were wearing shoe protectors and were very cautious not to walk ahead of me in my own house. They respected the fact that it was my house. They were very good in communicating what they were doing and what they were looking for. They gave me information on the things that I should be keeping an eye on too.

I'm very impressed with Macfee's job. The installers arrived exactly on time and got to work. They wore footies over their boots to keep my house clean. The job was completed within the day as promised. The new units are beautifully installed and reflect the attention to detail that I was promised. Mcaffee did their best to accomodate me by attempting to place the outside unit on the elevated brackets which the previous unit used, but the new unit is much larger and would not fit. They then removed the outside elevated brackets and placed the outside unit on a synthetic slab which looks very neat. Also, they did some last minute engineering by placing both the humidifier and high efficiency filter unit when they initially told me that because of the limited space, only one of them would fit. The county inspected the job within the past week and everything was up to code. All in all, this was a great experience and I'd certainly recommend Mcaffee to anyone looking to have a job done correctly at a fair price.

I got very good service from them. They are a very reliable service. It is a pretty reasonable rate. They have people who can come out at 7:30 at night and give you a day rate.

I stopped using them because I had a fight with the owner on political issues. The company itself did a beautiful job and the owner has terrific employees but I did not want to support his political views anymore. They were not cheap and if you do not mind his political views you are welcome to use them. They are responsive and come on weekends and at night. They call you back within 20 minutes if you are making a call and they have a really great business going. I will not use them again in the future.

They did an excellent job, they were on time and very professional. When I called to schedule they were very nice to talk with and I was very pleased with them.

They do it continuously every six months. Their staff is extremely capable and extremely polite. The quality of their work is top notch. They are the best that I have ever seen. I would use them again.

There is nothing in particular that I liked or disliked about their service. I believe that they were reasonably priced and honest in their assessment and estimation. They do stick to their advertised items in terms or wearing shoe protectors and wearing uniforms and things of that nature. They were a good company.

They do good work. The owner was rather rude to my mother.

They were professional and they appeared to be interested. They seemed to be efficient and timely. I recommend them.

We called McAfee on the 2nd hottest day of the year after our air stopped working. The came out the very next day on the hottest day of the year. They were prompt, professional and did not try to push a whole unit replacement or any other services. It was kind of pricey to fix but it could have been so much worse. I was so thankful for their all around service.

My only complaint is the fact that it took several technicians and several trips to correct the problem. There was some problems with scheduling because the office wanted to change my initial date of service. It would have been two weeks later, during a very hot period. I did not wish to re-schedule. Finally, I have McAfee scheduled to clean my air-ducts in a few weeks. I would use this company again.

They are great. It was $600 for the vent cleaning and $200 for the air conditioner. My husband really liked them. Their prices are okay. The quality was very good.

Knew this had been a problem in the past, expected this was the solution.

Everything is fine. The unit didn't work when we first got it and they came out and repaired it promptly. They made sure it worked. Their price was lower than some other estimates we got.
