I took a snow blower in for a tune up.  They gave me an estimate of $230 that included replacing the paddles.  I told them that all I wanted was a tune up.  The counter man told me that they wouldn't do anything "half assed".  It would be all no none.  I said I'd take my snow blower back.  He said I would have to pay $30 for the estimate to get it back.  I paid.  I took it to a shade tree mechanic who charged me $10 for a slight motor adjustment.  It has been working great ever since.
